Do Ex-Terrorists Now Need ID Cards?

A note on dhimmitude at AP from Maria Sliwa:

In my six years of working in public relations, this is a first. For the past week, I have notified representatives at the Associate Press Daybook (AP) in Philadelphia, via phone calls and email (215-561-1133 and phillyap@ap.org) that there would be an event tonight involving three former terrorists presenting exclusive video footage of terrorism in America. Each time I spoke with an AP representative, I was assured that this event would be posted in the daybook today. When I called this morning, however, I was informed that the event would not be posted, because the AP is unable to verify that the three former terrorists are indeed former terrorists. This is despite the fact that they have received quite a bit of media attention in the past: see shoebat.com and 3xterrorists.com for a sample of past media coverage. Posting an event in the daybook is key to maximizing media exposure. Most editors, reporters and news directors review the daybook daily in order to set assignments for the day's news. So my question to the AP in Philadelphia is this: Should the three ex-terrorists go back to their former terrorist organizations and request ID cards?

No. They need "muslim "tatooed across their foreheads.

I'd prefer a tag on the big toe.

Do they read the Koran and wipe their bums with their left hand? yeah they terrorists

MP - Having heard Shoebat at a conference earlier this year in DC, I asure you we need him alive, he is to be commanded for seeing the light and getting away from his muslim past.

Please do some research on the persons before commenting . I myself am guilty of the same at times, but I am trying to get better. I know how frustrating it gets to see muslims just following their pedeophile leader mohamid's way's , but when a person leaves islam and works to expose it, we need them and we as a whole need to be supportive of them!

We need more persons like these to speak up against islam and the violence that islam breeds.

MP and alShaytan---you are ignoramuses. Go do some reading and browsing before posting your deluded garbage.

balticwaves,

If you read the piece by Maria Sliwa again, carefully, you'll see that it is a drole poke at AP, and not at all a criticism of Shoebat.

Sliwa has done some good reportage on the horrors of the Sudan, by the way.

I have seen them speak (the save video posted on their site) plus another Walid Shoebat video that is online. What impresses me so much is how these Muslims read the Torah and the Bible, and realized their beliefs were lies. Conversion to Christianity has the amazing power of washing the hatred and madness out of Muslim minds. Though I am a Jew I have to respect Christianity for that. I hope more Muslims have the opportunity to understand Christianity and be freed from their mental prison. In fact, I think exposing Muslims to Christianity should be part of our foreign policy, coverty and overtly. If Bush would criticize the Saudis for banning the Bible, or even (gasp) ban their funding of religion in America until they lighten up, it would make a real difference. To borrow a chant from the leftys, "Bibles not Bombs!"

The Associated Press has - just in the last 3 years or so - become as dhimmified as Reuters and AFP. Very unfortunate as newspapers across the country carry its dispatches.

I am sure that it is political correctness on the part of the AP that the program did not appear in the daybook. Someone at AP knew something of these men's point of view (easy enough to look them up on the internet.) The press did not want to give these men the coverage they deserve. After all, Walid Shoebat and the others have critical things to say about Islam. With their stories, they are living proof that terrorism and Islam are closely connected. Those facts cannot come between the media and their constant theme that "Islam is the religion of peace." Also, Maria Sliwa is a well-known reporter in the area. They would have to know that she would not be hosting three current terrorists.

What? Have I read wrong that they don't use toilet paper?

Reformed terrorists are preaching to the choir. Anyone in the West who has been half awake the last two decades or so knows Islam is bad news for our culture, terrorists want to kill us, etc. The chance of other terrorists, Palestinian or otherwise, listening to these guys and abandoning Jihad is virtually zero. If Shoebat and company have current opearational information, they will be of value for that alone.Their propaganda value is extremely limited. Their former comrades in arms will view them as quislings worthy of extermination rather than emulation.

US infidel - Is it ignoramuses or ignorami?

"Is it ignoramuses or ignorami?"
-- from a posting above

If it is a question of hippopotamusses, then the former. If of pottawotami, then the latter.

These scheme artists ex-terrorists? Please if these guys are ex terrorists then I am a kangaroo. No bloody way.

These men are doing exactly what Hugh accuses people like Khaleel Mohammed and Mustafa Akyol of doing, capitalising off the market.

Haidon, your link provides nothing substantial to your assertion other than the accusations and questions of one obviously biased man.

Using the left hand is for those using their right mind, as far as sides.

Haidon:

Shoebat gave up a fairly lucrative career in IT to go on his crusade and is shunned by his family for converting to Christianity and exposing Palestinian terrorism for what it is. And I shouldn't have to tell you that he also puts himself at signficant risk of harm for doing so.

I am truly surprised at you, sinking to the level of Brian Whitaker, the notorious Al-Guardian hack who recently took a run at Wafa Sultan, Irshad Manji and Aayan Hirsi Ali in "Comments is Free". Whitaker alleges that their purpose in in exposing some ugly truths about Islam's myscogeny and antisemitism, Manji in particular, flows from a desire for money and fame, and not a desire to inspire much-needed reform.

Enlighten me please. Who exactly is Moshe Katz, that his bald assertions about Shoebat & Co. can be taken as prima facie evidence of anything? And if Moshe doesn't think Shoebat offers bona fides as to his claims of being a PLO operative, how does he explain away someone like Noni Darwish, whose father was decorated by Nasser for services rendered to Egypt (against Israel) in the 1956 war, and her conversion to Christianity and support for Israel?

Daniel Pipes met with Walid Shoebat's representatives a few months ago. It was a positive meeting.

All three ex-terrorists have been threatened quite a bit in the past and were still being threatened before the event. They are bravely telling their stories despite that.
