Recently I heard a 2 hour presentation on the history of the world AD. The discussion of the fall of Rome and subsequent Muslim takeover was interesting. The Military Historian that presented it stated that the Muslim culture was parasitic. When they took over much of the known world, their imposed culture impeded progress and little was produced to move human existence forward. Their rule was,in fact, destructive. When the wealth was exhausted the parasitic culture would die or recede and then would be cast off by more productive cultures.

2. A second term president can not be reelected. No matter what the party in power, failure to save an allied country would mean never regaining the presidency. In short, Israel falls, revenge would mean total devastation of any country allied against it. No matter how it stacks up, muslims lose. The only question not answered is how many of us will fall first?
Some seem to be of the mind that the mullahs will attempt a move on Israel FIRST, prior to any movement against us.

We could be on borrowed time even without Iran getting the bomb. Look how much destruction was wrought on 9-11 by a bunch of guys armed with knives.
One of the features of our open society is that we built dangerous installations right near residential neighborhoods. In New York City, I believe, there is a power plant in Astoria Queens that runs on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). And if I'm not mistaken, there is an LNG tank farm on Staten Island.
LNG is one of the most volatile fuels known. If those facilities exploded, western Queens and half of Staten Island would disappear.
Here in Boston where I live, there is an LNG port in Everett MA. To get there, LNG tankers have to transit up Boston Harbor, right past downtown Boston. At the moment the LNG tanker passes downtown Boston, if it exploded, half of downtown Boston would disappear. The fireballs would dwarf the 9-11 attack.

Islamic and Arab enmity against practitioners of the Judaic faith is a phenomena that extends across and even beyond the entire Middle East region and if you have read the Old Testament you know that the antipathy between Arabs and Jews has been going on for thousands of years!! I think I know what the cause of this---
First a little background.
Here is what I understand of Islam's intent to exterminate the Jews (which incidentally is expressed in the Kuran).
*The Middle East's cradle of civilization was Mesopotamia, and the leading civilization there was of course Babylon. For several thousand years Babylonians practiced human sacrifice and ,I am told, slavery. The Babylonian idol Marduk (also known as 'Baal' or the moon-god) was believed to require human blood which was spilled for Marduk atop Babylonian religious edifices known as ziggurats in acordance with lunar positions.
Babylon with its tens of centuries of human sacrifice was the strongest force in Middle East history and its influence remains in the region to this day.
As it happens, the Arabian Peninsula was for centuries a territorial possession of Babylon's. There can be no doubt that Saudi Arabia retains cultural traces of Babylonian beliefs and culture. Since we have established that the Middle East was overwhelmingly a bastion of human sacrifice for several thousand years (at least) and the domain of an entity that required spilled blood of humkan beings we now see that the Jews arrived on the scene believing in a deity that OUTLAWED KILLING OF HUMAN BEINGS FOR ALL REASONS OTHER THAN SELF-DEFENSE.
What happens when a human sacrifice cult is thrown into the mix with a culture that is told to respect human life? That could be the source of this conflict.
Almost certainly the human sacrifice practitioners would react with revulsion against those who would spare human life and turn their homicidal ways on those who would spare human life (and probably think that these people were weak). Think about what the consequences would be. it isn't hard to imagine. And notice that Islam has it in for Christians, Buddhists, Hindus as well. And isn't Islam imposing homicide on humanity and doesn't Islam show a suspicious lack of regard for human life? Tis evidence of its origins as a human sacrifice cult.
In short, Islam is emerged as a reaction by a culture that was founded on human sacrifice (the Arabs) to a culture that means tovalue and resoect human life. Islam is ostensibly reactionary: militant, warring, and aiming for global domination. With respect for human life gone grom the earth, the Arabs will be free to reimpose human sacrifice on humanity.
