KELANTAN will offer RM10,000 to each Muslim preacher who marries an orang asli woman and naturally converts her as part of renewed efforts to propagate Islam among the 3,000-odd community in the state.State Religious Affairs committee chairman Hassan Mahamood (PAS – Tawang) said the same incentive was applicable if the preacher was a Muslim woman who took an orang asli husband.
Asked if the preacher may court the orang asli as a second or third wife, Hassan said it depended on the individual.
The latest figures show that in the past five years, 2,904 of some 3,000 orang asli who reside in Gua Musang and Jeli districts, embraced Islam on their own free will.
Hassan said the state government was unhappy with the conversion rate of the orang asli, who traditionally did not subscribe to any main religion.
Besides the monetary incentive, the preachers would also receive free accommodation, a four-wheel-drive vehicle and a fixed monthly allowance of RM1,000.
On criminal activities and social ills among youths, Hassan said these were due to the influence of the western media.
“The Federal Government allowed sex-oriented movies, music and magazines to be accessible to the masses.
“Crime can only be controlled through the Syariah Criminal Procedure Code,” he said.
What happens if a non Muslim converts a Muslim? Shrieks of Islamophobia and a dead Apostate.
Anyway, if Islam is so great, why do they need financial incentives? Surely all that sex and violence is good enough by itself.
The Orang Asli aren't Indians and Chinese, who for whatever reason are looked at as foreigners in Malaysia, despite living there for generations, and having no links with India or China. Nonetheless, they aren't covered by Bhumiputra until they convert.
This slow poisoning is annoying. Wish the Orang Asli adapt the strategy of the Dayaks and slaughter Malays who try and convert them.
So, we can expect a lot of kidnappings of young girls for their brides.

FACT:
Orang Asli are not muslims, they were brainwashed to become muslims. Many are christians.
Their churches are demolished. THE RULE to them was orang asli cannot be classified as christians & only can be muslims by LAW.
Their National Registrations are normally delayed or ACCIDENTALLY having ISLAM as the religion. Then the process to change is very hard. These guys are too poor to even take a bus ride to the city.
Lies are spread to them about Christianity so they can embrace islam, Koran IN ARABIC is given for them to study (duh - they cant read). And whats worse is they were firmly told they cant get benefits (school, higher education for children, jobs & loans) & even loosing their Bumiputeraship if they didnt convert.
This stories will not be heard & Im sure some muslims malaysians will object to this. Well, This are told by the Orang Asli Students whom their parents converted.
Orang Asli against Islamic conversion (dont remember the name) made lots of protest fell on deaf ears. Papers are gaged.
Orang Asli are the rightful owners of this country. Our kings & sultans originated from Hindu Empire in Indonesia. Somehow, the pressure from the north made him to have strategic alliances with Indonesia (then defeated by Islamic Army) by embracing Islam.

No,in Malaysia, the Muslim preacher who manages to "revert" an Orang Asli girl, gets glittering prizes: cash on the barrel, free housing, a four-wheel drive car, and a continuing stipend presumably for ever after.
What could be better? What could more tellingly mix the material and the spiritual, just the way Muhammad did, when he made his appeal to all those who, if they joined him and fought against those unwilling to submit, were entitled to receive a share of the loot?

The fact that 4 percent did not convert on their own free will is not shocking to you people?
The premise of this article is to admit that forced covnersions ALREADY occur and the government is encouraging more coercion by offering a bounty on Orang Asli girls.
Imagine if Bush-Hitler gave out a 10,000 bounty to evangelicals to convert young native Americans. No one sees any parallels?
Yes, I believe Malaysia violates some of the UN accords. However, the context they put in makes it clear that they are 'helping' them.
Note that, those who convert has the facilities, those who dont will never get it.
The towns that have more muslims converts gets a facelift & a nice mosque, the ones who dont will their churches demolished.
I dont know how many christians here like their churches being demolished, I for sure dont like this.
The malaysian made car = Proton are the only affordable cars here with the exception of another 2 national car makers (where 1 of them rebrands cheap chinese cars).
They made it impossible to import a forign car without paying very high tax. FYI, Malaysian made cars are 30 years old in design & cost 3 times more.
The fact is that your countrys leaders will always do business with Malay Politition cum Minister, means that you support what they do. You guys should urge your polititions to stop doing that & question Malaysia's policies.
Next it will a fincial reward be for head counts, literally.
From Apostates of Islam I found that this reward for forced conversion(10k saudi dollars) was the prize for young Egyptian males who managed to convert a Copt female. So it is "old hat" and widespread.
Just another reason to justify religicide IMHO.

I'm a fundamentalist Muslim and I find this horrible. There indeed should be no compulsion in Islam and I'm totally against what is being done in Kelantan.
It's also worth nothing that the party in power in Kelantan is PAS, an opposition party.

They do it everywhere. In India, too, they consider it a great thing to convert and marry Hindu girls. Though these incidents are rare. I was witness to one. The elder sister of a friend of mine was also our senior in school. She was a lively girl who participated in all extra curricular activities. She was a talented singer and dancer. She coached us, the juniors, on a number of occasions. And she was top of her class all the time. She went on to become a doctor. While in college, a muslim male (one of those rarities that make it to medical college) dated her. He must have convinced her that islam is peace and all that crap, and she fell for it. She married him. He allowed her to practice medicine for about 2 years. Not after that. The last I saw of her was when she came to buy some medicine from a friend's shop. I was sitting behind the counter when she asked for it, and I could not say anything when she lifted her hijab and gave me a sad smile.
