A bomb has destroyed a minibus in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar, killing at least 10 people and injuring 15, police have said.Police say the bomb was possibly hidden on the bus, and the device detonated during morning rush hour.
The vehicle was carrying Afghan labourers on their way to work at a coalition military base in the city.
Officials say it is the first time that civilian Afghans working in Kandahar have been targeted by the Taleban.
Attacks blamed on Taleban have risen in southern and eastern Afghanistan this year, with hundreds of deaths.
A man claiming to be a Taleban spokesman claimed responsibility for the latest incident in a telephone call to a local news agency. He said that the Taleban had warned Afghan nationals not to work with US forces.

The victims' Mohammedan fatalism (" why bother checking the bus for a bomb, since Allah knows best...") is also the jihadists' greatest strength, at first, (a 'sucker punch' style advantage) but will ultimately be their dooming flaw.
Because, while they are blindly relying on Allah, we will be peeling the p.c. scales off our eyes, from Madrid to Sydney, Miami to Tokyo.
And using their one-trick Islam against them.
