Pakistan: Jihadists oppose rape law reforms

As I have pointed out many times, the Sharia requirement that four male witnesses are needed in order to establish guilt in cases of rape, based on the revelation Muhammad received exonerating his wife Aisha of adultery (Qur'an 24:11-20), puts women in grave danger. And indeed, studies have shown that most women in prison in Pakistan are there because they are victims of rape, but their accusations could not be substantiated and became evidence against them of zina -- unlawful sexual intercourse.

And it's not going to change: "Islamists oppose rape law reforms," from The Peninsula (Qatar), with thanks to Twostellas:

Islamabad • Islamist grouping Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal wants assurances from secularist Alliance for Restoration of Democracy that controversial rape laws will not be reformed before it signs the Charter of Democracy.

The MMA will present its reservations on the Charter of Democracy, with emphasis on resistance to changing the controversial Hudood Ordinance, which equates rape with adultery, in writing to the ARD in a meeting today, sources said here Monday.

Sources said that the MMA would seek assurance that any political party coming to power would not seek to amend or repeal Islamic laws, including the Hudood Ordinance.

They said the MMA would not sign the Charter of Democracy until all its reservations were addressed. They said that the MMA had reservation about a clause in the charter which said that political parties wanted to curtail powers of the Federal Shariah Court.

Oh surely they have to come to their senses? Dont they? Anyone?

There's nothing wrong with rape if it's perpetrated by a Person of Asian Background.

Yes, the impotent muslim men want to be able to continue the power trip over women. If they were able to enjoy consensual sex and perform, there would be no need for rape. But, alas, they have to get savage to be able to prove to themselves (and other men) they like other humans besides men.

Why change something that has worked for centuries. Why put responsibility on themselves for their actions. Why become civilized and rational. Why become real men.

Well that’s it, I drop my imam title and will look for another cult, see what you made me do, sarcasm off. This will never work allah will demand blood and someone will revert the law back to islamic law and the cycle continues. At least some women will be safer for a short period, that’s about as good a break as you can get with islam. This is all a trick to make them feel good about themselves and show us they are not all bad.

Maybe we should send empty our prisons of rapist and send them permanently to Pakistan. After all there they have not committed any crime.

Who knows it might improve the gene pool.

Pakistan is a Muslim country.

They can devour their own -with the Koran as the false teeth- forever, for all I care, as long as we can control their exporting of nukes to the rest of the Ummah.

Let them outrage one another.

It might finally strike some captive Muslims as the rank insanity that it obviously is to other, unbrainwashed minds.

The Koran instills madness. In an active form.

Like syphillis combined with Parkinson's.

Inshallah.

One would like to have an official ruling from, say, the Sheik al-Azhar, on the following:

If a Muslim man is convicted of raping an Infidel woman on the strength of her testimony and other evidence (such as that provided by DNA -- about which Allah forgot to say anything in the Qur'an, or did he?)but without the testimony of four men, or three, or two, or even one, is that conviction licit? If the verdict is Guilty, and the jury consists of non-Muslims, and the judge presiding is a non-Muslim, can this conceivably be accepted by Muslims as fully just, as not to be questioned?

Infidel men -- and women -- would like to know. Not in a few decades. Now.

Hugh-

I don't think you grasp Muslim DNA.

In Islam it stands for:

Do Not Ask.

Anything.

Animals.

Ummahnewslinks: Back in the 1930's and 1940's, Mao Zedong declared that family planning was imperialism's way to kill of the Chinese people without resorting to war. Perhaps today it is the CHinese Communist Party's attemt to kill of an increasingly dangerous Chinese people without recourse to war. But, most of all, the movement to dissociate sex and procreation has been the West's strongest weapon in its attempt at suicide.

As for proposed Pakistani reforms of their rape law, my suspicion is that the typical jihadi can't get a wife except by abduction and rape. Hence, that miserable country ought to be renamed Pathologistan.

I haven't met an apologist yet who can offer anything remotely defensible regarding the rape culture aspect of Islam. Generally, they spew something like: "It's just their culture" or "how do you really define rape?" When a weak minded fool can't control their physical urges, the fault lies with that person alone, not the victim, nor advertising, nor fashion, period! I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I sure as hell know that when a towelhead rips a women's top off, she is the least guilty party on the scene.

Nope. China has a relatively low percentage of arable land and a population that has long exceeded the ability of the land to provide. Historically, every few years over centuries China has been swept by brutal famines that killed millions. The current family planning policy is an attempt to supress widespread famine that would give the "big lie" to the success of the Communist regime's economic policies.

The great al-Azhar is far too busy to offer Allah's opinion on the importance and beauty of this question, but there is no doubt the answer is perfectly just. For did the Prophet not say

Q 24:21 "O! Mohammed! Women are chattels to you, in servitude and honour. But if they speak out against you or your attentions or your breath, then it is better that you should break the booty if you can't take it. Aight?"

I forgot to add:

Prophet Geoff

Not my fault. The Israelis made me.
