I wish that regular news outlets would report on such fabrications. It would decrease the value of such propaganda exercises. This is valid news, and it should be reported.

The "Palestinian" Arabs are cunning propagandists. Centuries of Islamic deceit serve them well.

In contrast, the Israeli government is clumsy in its information dissemination. It foolishly apologized (indicating guilt) before its investigations were complete. This again is a plus for the Hamas Islamic Terrorists and a pitiful minus for the befuddled Olmert "Kadima" tyranny.

Perhaps Olmert & Co. is simply luring Hamas and Iran into a false sense of security by only appearing to hopelessly bungle every post-Sharon decision Israel has made. It may be another devious Zionist plot.

My news just stated the schrapnel taken and examined from the bodies was not from an Israeli weapon.

If we disregard the fact that Palestinian TV would not have been on board on an Israeli vessel during this incident by any stretch of imagination, if this 76mm gun was firing explosive rounds, it should have left quite an impression on the beach (considering its > 900m/s exit velocity) and it would have been possible to kill 7 people with only 3 rounds. Without explosives (which would be consistent with small or no obvious effects on the ground), 4 of those would have to die due to secondary effects of impact on the beach (shock). It would not have been too difficult for the PA to prove that the injuries were caused by this weapon (should they want to follow this path). Though having seen Pallywood (at http://www.seconddraft.org/movies.php) I don't think we will se any.

Once again Israel has been blamed, did little to counter the Arab propaganda, and the MSM is not forced to retract their false and damaging 'reporting'....

It is truly jaw-dropping. However, Ali Sina posted a film documenting the making of a Palestinian taqqiya film in production (the purpose of which was to incriminate Israel)under the auspices of the Palestinian Authority some months back on the Faith Freedom International blog. So this is not really news.

Although this is funny in a way (many people at the time laughed at the ridiculous extremes the Palestinians were going to in order to vilify the Jews) it is at the same time extremely sad. Because the ultimate goal of these propaganda films is to kill people. And (astonishingly) the Jews, are people, even if in Eurabia this is swept under the rug by just about everyone. As is the seemingly well-kept secret that Islam incorporates first-degree murder into its core ideology.

I heard that the results of the Israeli investigation will be out tomorrow and that it will cast doubt on themselves as the explosive source. What I will be curious to see is the extent to which the mainstream media air the report, and how they spin it. It's no wonder I seldom watch TV and instead look to specialized web sources for news, such as JW.

Over twenty rockets have been fired from Gaza today. The fact that the IDF has not been allowed to retaliate, is directly related to this fabrication. The IDF made a big mistake by apologizing before the facts were known, it made them look guilty when they had nothing to do with it.

The very first time I viewed the LGF video a glaring error jumped right out , take a close look at the shadows on the deck of the ship being portrayed as firing the shells at the beach, then compare them to the people in the next clip running around the shoreline.

The shadows indicate that the ship was facing the beach at some point, but not even close to the time the people put on their play for the camera's.
Look closely at the long shadows casted on the beach sand , then go back and look at the short shadows casted by objects on the deck of the ship.
The lack of any shell craters questioned where exactly the shell hit and the place of the bodies.

Remember the Roswell pictures from the last scam to excuse away the dummies as the aliens witnesses claimed to have seen, but in one photo I saw in a magazine the mountains in the backdrop had different shadows from the foreground evidence.

Even a crime scene that doesn't have any evidence is evidence on its own that someone was there to remove any sign of their presence.

Well, they are good at making movies and special effects, they can use the whole country as a set for movies like "Mad Max" or "Black Hawk Down"

I've been watching this for a half-century or so and cannot recall a single time that "world approval" has ever come down on the side of the Israelis no matter what they say or do, no matter what they are subjected to. Sometimes I suspect that those nations other than the US that voted for the establishment of the Israeli state did so only out of guile with clear hopes & intentions that the Arabs would sooner or later finish the job Hitler started.

I suspect that after all these years and thousands of incidents like this they don't feel much like bothering, since it doesn't ever seem to make a difference what they say anyway.

I wish that the Israelis would say that the next assault of Kassems on Israel would be tantamount to an act of war and then retaliate with full force, driving the Infernal Sons of Allah in Gaza back to Egypt, and while driving them en masse back to Egypt, annex the Sinai peninsula while they are at it. Actually, the first story that I read on this (one of the Israeli papers I think) a day before the story made it onto any of the blogs, the Palestinians were specifically stating that "this attack by the Israelis was an act of war" and demanded that Israel be hauled into the World Court. Can't find the link in the mess though :(

Dream on, darlin'! The A-rabs have been going at the Israels every time they get their mutual courage up since Independence Day. At least three really big ones - in 48/49, 67 I think it was, and 73. Each and every time Israel has stomped their collective behinds into the dirt. The last time they only didn't overrun Damascus because somebody (probably us) made them stop.

Each and every time the Arabs have proven unequivocally that they have so many internal divisions (see the latest, the Pali's are having a danged civil war, burned down their own parliament tonight and a bunch of other stuff) that they are incapable of fighting in a cohesive manner.

Most indirect-fire ammunition is equipped with proximity or VT (vertically timed) fuses that allow them to explode in an airburst fashion, thus increasing the likelihood of hitting exposed targets by spreading out the fragmentation and shrapnel over a wider area, rather than having it blown into the ground. It's also often used in forested areas, tree bursts, to increase secondary missile production.

The blast would move stuff around on the ground, but would likely not produce a crater. If I were calling in arty on the heads of some jackasses shooting missiles from a beach, I would specify to the FDC (fire direction center) that I had "enemy in the open", and they would assume VT unless I told them otherwise (I can see the target, they can't).

In general, due to the nature of the enemy and the fact that they usually seem to launch their little death sticks from open areas, I would assume that the Israeli SOP would be much the same as the Americans'.

Of course if I was the one calling the shots, I'd drop FASCAMs (Field Artillery SCatterable Mines) and render the beach unusable to all but the extremely brave or extremely stupid.

Oh yeah, the guns on the Israeli boats, most likely 5 in. pieces, also use proximity fuses as they are sometimes used for anti-aircraft/anti-missile defense as well as for softening up beach-front property. It's easier to hit a high speed object with a cloud of shrapnel than with another singular high-speed object.

Followed your link. I don't know what to do when I read about these lunatics. Sometimes I feel like LOL, and sometimes I see the atrocities commited by them on us. This is definitely a LOL situation. They been at it for centuries now. Another poster once gave the idea of vacating iraq, let iran take over, watch the shia-sunni whack it out. Subsequently other sunni areas like SA, Jordan, and these very palis shall rush to aid their sunni bros, and the world would be a much safer place. Borg, thanks for pointing out that the shrapnel was not from Israeli ammunition. We should add that several of the persons injured at the site were being treated in Israeli hospitals. That's how Israel could get hold of the shrapnel from their bodies.

By the way, another story out of Israel has seemingly not been picked up by the oh so uninformative media -- who believe that certain news is not fit to print or broadcast.

Saturday night, an Arab motorist was murdered by Arab terrorists on Route 443 in the area between Ramallah, Atarot, and Giv`at Ze'ev. Terrorists approached the road, saw the vehicle displaying regular Israeli license plates, and shot at the vehicle [a passenger van, I believe], killing the driver and wounding some or all of the four passengers [all Arabs]. The driver lived in Jerusalem and had the regular Israeli license plates on his van, so the terrorists probably assumed that he was a Jew.

I have seen and heard this story only on Israeli media and in Israeli papers.
