According to this story, he has ties to Bosnian jihadists. "Romanian bomb plot suspect held," from the BBC, with thanks to Kafir Nonbeliever:
Romanian police are holding a man suspected of planning a car bomb attack to protest against Romania's co-operation with US forces in Iraq.Florin Lesch, a Muslim convert, was stopped on Monday as he drove towards the city of Timisoara with a bomb made from gas canisters, police said....
"There have been two types of suspicions, namely that [Mr Lesch] belonged to several terrorist organisations and that he planned to stage a terror attack," an intelligence service spokesman told Romanian radio.
Romania has more than 800 troops in Iraq.

One more to add to your map showing all the countries where Islam-inspired terror plots have been uncovered, often but not always in time. Why not bring that map up to date?
under surveillance for six months for sending threats via the Internet to institutions and TV stations countrywide and abroad, including CNN and Al-Jazeera.
I Do not find this a surprise, as most of us regulars know these guys are everywhere. I also have no doubt of his guilt, they watched him for six months, they would know if he was kidding. But, six months, and he wanted to attack CNN and al jazeera both of which are more anti American than pro. This guy is not playing with a full deck. What would pro al qaida do without al jazeera I might lose sleep worry about their safety. Ok, I made that last part up, but al j?????? I wonder how these clowns treat their friends.
Muslim convert....Enough said.
Bosnia was the conversion du jour of Florin Les. This Bosnian who spent most of his life in Sweden is currently on trial.
The Balkans are rife for Islamisation. Consider this report of consolidation of the Albania language in Macedonia. Or how about this item from Bulgaria where a dhimmi politician wants Turkish textbooks.

Romanians are quite aware to the Islamic threat. The country is incredibly poor, even more than a decade after the elimination of Ceaucescu. But I spent a few days there, 3 years ago. And I found Romanians to be proud people who take no crap from Mohammedans. A lot of Arabs and Turks were frequenting Bucharest then, chatting up the girls and spending heaps of money...
But I couldn't help notice the resentment and outright hatred against them which is deeply rooted in the history of Romania , having been overrun and invaded on several occasions by the mussulman.
Bulgaria seems to be far more endangered with all kinds of criminal organizations setting up shop there. But the general awareness in the population contrasts with the complete and utter naiveté and Inshallah- mentality of the "old Europe", which seems already blindly committed to becoming Eurabia....
What's with this endless fixation on Romania?
Let's have more stories about Israelis!
Right, Kaffir Nonbeliever?
muslims seem to have a universal specific for all their 'problems'. Reminds me of a cartoon of a muslim standing over a pile of skulls with a dripping dagger saying 'islam is a religion of peace. See, no talking back.'
...and the attitude of USA and EU towards Serbia and Republika Srpska hasn´t changed jet: all is done to destroy Republika Srpska entity (why can´t they have a referendum on whether they want to be a part of moslem Bosnia, on their own or perhaps to join Serbia, the motherland?) BTW 7000 mosques - yes, seven thousand my Jihadwatch brothers and sisters!!!! - have been built in Bosnia over the last 15 years (and everybody is forced to hear this most disgusting noice five times a day!). And the West i.e. its political nomenklatura, is still spreading lies about "Bosnians" (this is as much a nation as "Palestinians" are one), being all for lipstick and bear, moderate and secular, nice and cultivated people, still delegitimizing Republika Srpska by repeating the lies about the "genocide" , forcing Serbs to leave Bosnia, a Serb country, by making their lives roughly as much worth as they were under the Turkish bloody opression (the EU "High Representative" ( Gauleiter) can dismiss legaly elected Serb politicians if he considers them "nationalistic", EU and USA support moslems in creating a unified Bosnia, where moslems rule and non-moslems incredibly and unbearably suffer ).
Not to mention Kosovo - the West wants to see the Serb Jerusalem "independent", period, for that purpose a new nation has been invented, we´re talking about "Kosovaren" (Germany) or "Kosovans", and many other disgusting lies that are necessary to create the "Kosova" monster and to keep it alive (Göbbels propaganda is a Kindergarten compared with the one related to Kosovo, coming from EU and USA).
This policy is not a "mistake" as many readers of the Jihadwatch think, - this policy is a gigantic crime against the Serb nation and the Serb state that needs to be properly put on the agenda. Because we´re indeed witnessing a genocide and rape, but over Serbs and the Serbian state. And all this so that the ruling bureaucracy from European and USA metropoles can have a soothing feeling that they have reached a nice deal with the moslem world (in a nutshell: Serbs demonized and expelled from their own countries by NATO, so that moslems can establish boundless rule over it and in return, so is the hope of the West, moslems will leave the core Western countries and populations in peace. And please understand that the West is not anti-moslem. And, perhaps, in the future, after Turkey has joined the EU, Bosnia and Kosovo could be a nice location with all the necessary mosques and friendly local moslims to settle other moslems there , rather than in Munich, Berlin, London or Paris. ).
I believe this will not work. EU and USA will learn that this only grows moslem appetities.
But will Serbs survive long enough to see this happen, will they be able to cultivate love for freedom that long, despite of being continuously humiliated, beaten and killed? A question I am asking myself every day, no matter what I do and where I am.
Sheik Yer'mami,
You have actually been to Romania ? I ask this because I want to visit it sometime in the near future. I would appreciate it if you could give me some more info about the country.
Are we not so pleased that we sided against Mladic and Arkan and let Bosnia and Kosovo blossom into the mini Afghanistans they now are?
Lol! Good one Arjun!
Since this is OT, and in response to Sheik, I will keep it very brief. Romania is changing at a frantic pace sir. Moreover, your assessment of incredible poverty, in my opinion, which I base on my extensive travel around the world, is incorrect. It is very much an middle income nation whose GDP is rising faster than India's.

With regard to their impression of Moslems, I have little to say. But I can say that they are particularly fond of Westerners from whom they believe they were violently and unnaturally ripped.
I have an aprtment in Bucharest ,and many friends and they do not like the muslims . Romanians are very proud ,and wont let their country be overrun . I see also the way they look at the muslims around town ,with much disdain . Romanians are in this fight with us . a few months ago 3 Romanian journalists were kidnapped in Iraq, and a Syrian born businessman was behind the plot ,while living in Bucharest . He is awaiting trial .The country was extremily angry over the kidnapping.
while they dont agree with Bush or our politics ,they know they must fight the muslim invasion . Turkey is just tyo the south of the Black Sea ,Romania does not want to see Turkey enter the EU

Serbian girl,
We have a 13% muslim population, and I think that is bad. I can only imagine what Serbians feel with a 20% muslim population and the mosques blaring the evil message 5 times a day. I only hope the West wakes up before it is too late.
Mr. Kafir:
When a qualified bricklayer, carpenter or plumber makes $200.00 a month, is that for you "middle income?"
Romania is a European nation and even after (?) years of communist dictatorship they are still awfully poor!
why would you compare that with India?
Sometimes you just don't tick right....
arjun:
happy to give you Romania info, but how to get in touch?
Romania is poor, but the wages you have described are barerly higher than the nation's minimum wage.
A person with the skills you described above generally makes between 400 to 600 dollars a month.
