Dhaka - Tension was mounting in a northern suburb of the Bangladesh capital Dhaka Saturday after an Islamic militant group threatened to blow up a mosque of members of the minority Ahmadiya Muslim sect, officials said.The Sunni Islamic group Khatme Nabuyut Movement called a 48-hour strike in the capital city's Uttara suburb following fierce clashes between riot police and Islamic militants marching on the Ahmadiya mosque in a bid to capture it.
'The Ahmadiyas are kafirs (non-believers) and must be declared non-Muslims by the government,' Noor Hossain Nurani, a senior member of the anti-Ahmadiya movement, told a gathering of an estimated 1,000 activists before an overnight attempt to seize the mosque.
Nurani warned the government that his supporters would destroy the heavily guarded mosque if the Ahmadiyas were not officially declared non-Muslims by Sunday.

I have an intense interest in the Ummah.
I initially created Ummah News Links as a personal library to reference news concerning that part of our world, but then thought that others might have an interest in the site as well.
It is not my intention to 'compete' with Mr. Spencer and I hope it doesn't appear that way.

Ahmadiyans are peaceful muslims, I met a few before & non of them believe in world conquest & all that bull.
The thing that saperates them is that they believe that other religions are devine & valid. The best example is the recognition of Hinduism as a religion. Other sects do not recognize Hinduism nor its prophets/avatars.
So, they have been humiliated & tortured.
Ahmadiya is an example of reformed islam. An Earlier post about no efforts to reform for 1300+ years is wrong. One more is Drew Ali in Chicago; his own blend of peaceful islam.
So there are changes in islam itself but it does not take place because;
1. The current imams in power will loose his power when supporters jump fence.
2. Money wont be rolling in as no supporters are in.
3. Fear from their sect of being harmed.
So, someone should replace the current imams & things should be balanced for a while.
Come join Islam, we love our fellow Muslims we will accept you into Islam as our brothers...
As long as you join the right sect, as long as you are not a woman, as long as you are not black or westernised or refuse to wear a veil because if so, you will be treated like an infidel and we will do what we want to you.

Really, after day-in and day-out reports on J/W and D/W, where do you get the idea that if Ahmadiyas get to dominate Islam, Islam will become better? Both Ahmadiya and Bahai ultimately derive their inspiration from the Quran. Only difference is that the Ahmadiyas had a "prophet" subsequent to Mohammed, whereas the Bahais had a leader who claimed to receive divine revelations. While this is illustrative of the intolerance of Islam, there is no reason to support the Bahai, Ahmadiya or Shia any more than one would be inclined to support Sunni Islam.

From the people I met, they were strong belivers of Ahmadiyans & compared to the typical muslim, they didnt even cared about dominating.
This is easy to know when you speak to them. They do believe in another spritual leader after mohammad. They dont even put that much emphasis on the words their imam says. These guys are very bright & sharp.
Now, If you talk to a typical brainwashed muslim, the answer will be different, Israel will loose, muslims will diminate, sharia here + there & the list goes on & on.
So, you tell me, which muslim would you like to dominate?
Remember this is the same sect that Naseem promotes as being peaceful.

Of the sects involved, the Ahmadiya would be more amenable to "peaceful co-existence" with the infidels. So, if the choice were a cyanide capsule or a sheep's eyeball sandwich full of salmonella -knowing that the latter is not always fatal- then yes, we'd have to choose the Ahmadiya over the Sunnis (death1) or the Shi'ites (death2) or any similar offshoot of the killer Koran.
Although I can't say I'd swallow it with any relish. (Maybe some Vidalia onions.)
I ownder if that's the mosque Naseem and her hubby go to? What would she say if the Sunnis blow up her family? Inquiring minds want to know.

They are 'peaceful' only so far as the more rabid shia and sunni dominate. As per our standards, they are still Extremely Violent. I don't have any hopes for any people that come out of quran.

I just had seen the Neal Boortz commetary and man he is outraged. An excellent presentation.
WIDEAWAKE, I listen to Neal Boortz almost every day and I was listening the day he went berserk about muslim outrage. He is not very knowledgable about the doctrine of Islam but he's a smart guy, a non-practicing lawyer. Instincts, common sense, and the daily exploits of muslims around the world are enough proof for him that Islam is a death cult. He gives Islam hell every chance he gets, at least once or twice a week. He broadcasts out of Atlanta to a loyal and large audience and he is more outspoken than Limbaugh. I don't know why CAIR hasn't tried to have him silenced, or maybe they have. He apparently makes so much money for his sponsors that they won't be intimidated.
Neal Boortz is not afraid to speak his mind, that's for sure. We need a thousand more like him.
