US Customs and Border Protection gives CAIR a tour of O'Hare security

U.S. officials bend over backwards to make it easy for Muslims to get through airport security. "CAIR-Chicago, Muslims, Meet With U.S. Customs & Border Protection at O'Hare Airport" -- a CAIR-Chicago press release, with thanks to LGF:

On Wednesday, June 21, CAIR-Chicago’s Executive Director Ahmed Rehab and intern Susan DeCostanza along with other leaders in the Chicago Muslim Community attended a tour of U.S. Customs and Border Protection operations at O’Hare International Airport last week.
The meeting was part of an effort to build relationships between the Muslim community and different government and security organizations that work in the airport in order to proactively facilitate communication, avoid cultural misunderstandings and help to educate travelers about the ways that they can possibly avoid unwanted delays at the airport.

Brian Humphrey, Director of Field Operations, commenced the meeting by introducing the various Customs and Border Protection agents present.

Dr. Hytham Rifai - a well known physician and CAIR-Chicago client - related some personal stories of delays that relatives, friends, and community members have encountered upon re-entering the United States from travel abroad.

Ahmed Rehab outlined the community's purpose behind requesting the meeting and gave a brief synopsis of the number and nature of complaints that Muslims bring to the CAIR-Chicago office.

Sheikh Kifah gave examples of some of the problems his Mosque constituency have suffered.

Humphrey explained that U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents must move through an interactive, online cultural sensitivity course.

Humphrey reiterated that if a traveler encounters any difficulties, the agents must follow protocol, and do not have the authority to deviate from that procedure. If a traveler has questions, or believes they are being mistakenly delayed, the traveler should ask to see a supervisor.

The group walked through Customs and Borders operations beginning at the point of entry for passenger arrival to customs stations, agricultural screening, and the interview rooms. The agents described the "Passenger Lookout Override" system that was implemented two months ago, in which a passenger who has the same or a similar name as a person with a suspicious record can be distinguished from the actual suspected person.

This system is supposed to expedite common delays encountered by travelers within the Muslim and other communities who have common names that are similar to people with an actual or suspected tainted record.

CAIR-Chicago looks forward to continuing the relationship with U.S. Customs and Border Protection offices in the region, and to furthering understanding between the organizations as well as facilitating future communication in order to eliminate problems for Muslim travelers before they even arise.

Good God! What the hell is wrong with this damn country and larger western society and those who run it. Enough of this crawling around on all fours for the Muslim ner do wells that are invading the West. This is madness, it is pathological, the signs or manifestation of deep mental illness to so grovel like this. I am sure in World War 2 we went out of our way make life easy for the Nazis.
People and Peoples who so deeply loath themselves are mentally ill. I say that because I think all this Muslim boot licking is a manifestation of pathological self hate, individually and collectively.
If this is how we are going to crawl around and grovel for this rabble, we might as well say the Shaddah and get it over with. If we are this damn stupid we deserve everything we are going to get. This is a vicious and merciless darwinian struggle and those who don't fight back have no right to be free or even exist.Hopefully a huge backlash is coming in west that engulfs and destroys everything in its path.Level it all to the ground and start over.Such people should be digging aluminum cans out of the trash, not running vital government agencies. Anybody see any similarities between the jokes of goverments in the current west and the Weimar Republic in the 1930s?

I suggest we get the Alaskan eskimo's, american indians, mormons, rednecks and other various groups together and give them a tour of O'Hare as well just to be fair. I would like to have a tour as well (dumb guys group) as I feel alienated and unassimilated, and please pay my plane fare. i would like to land at Midway airport because I understand they have not given CAIR a tour.

If there are in the years ahead more major attacks in the USA -- worse attacks than we have yet seen -- I would favor in the aftermath of thousands or hundreds of thousands of more innocent needless deaths setting up an extraordinary court that would

1) investigate who in the media and in state & federal government has been, by their naivete and PC blindness, guilty in effect of aiding and abeting the enemy

then

2) punish them with various measures, from monetary fines to imprisonment, and in certain cases, worse.

This is intentional and the liberal scumbag bureaucrats foisting this on us by allowing known terrorist collaborators into the circle of airport security need to be brought to the carpet on this! Everyone needs to know about this heinous betrayal of public trust and safety.

WHY should THEY get any thing special? All we are doing is handing over more secrets that are supposed to keep us safe.

I am angry and embarrassed that I did not know about this happening in my own city.

My first instinct is to write letters. But the damage has already been done. Perhaps I still should write?

In any case, I will definitely be keeping an eye out for CAIR Chicago from now on. It's something I should've been doing all along.

The proper target of your anger and angst is the people who are running and who own this country, you will find them listed as supporters of the RNC and their cronies are ensconsed in and control the Whitehouse, Congress, and Senate.. Start with Dubya and work downwards.
