Another Kassam Rocket Attempt into Central Israel

Since Israel pulled out of Gaza, since Sharon undid whatever good he had done over his long career with his destruction of Jewish villages villages or towns which are so carefully called, by the BBC and others in the mind-poisoning business, "settlements," a word meant to imply their supposed illegitimacy and impermanence.

But, you will object, don't Israelis, doesn't the Israeli government, express no objection to, and even at times employ, the word "settlement"? Yes, and the Israeli government, and Israelis, also fail to object to, and often use, such loaded phrases as "the Palestinian people" and "the West Bank" without explaining the loaded nature of this language. The Israelis are not able to do everything. They are exhausted. Their leaders are not always as intelligent as they should be. Israel, like other Western democracies, now has a system in place that guarantees political survival not of the best, nor of the misfittest, but of those willing to endure all the fatras of political life, with its staggering boredom, hectic vacancy, forced banalities. The best, in all countries, unless impelled by a strong sense of mission (not a "mission statement" but a mission), will be discouraged from such a life in politics.

So the Israelis have been inattentive to language. It has cost them. And the American government has been inattentive to language -- that "war on terror." And that has cost all of us.

The PA sources reporting the launch said it did not succeed because the rocket exploded prematurely, and that the launch attempt was "amateurish."

All their launches are amateurish as these are simple large point and shoot bottle rockets, much like the larger scud missles. You just point them in the general direction of the target and fire. These rockets are generally transported to the launch site in pickup trucks or cars. No sophisticated guidance systems here. Any terrorist with an IQ that matches his shoe size can fire one.

The rockets are indescrimate. The Palistinians are calling them amateurish as they did not kill anyone.

Fortunately, the Israeli missles targeting these savages as they travel to the launch sites, sometimes with children in tow for propaganda purposes, are a bit more sophisticated. While sometimes it seems overwhelming, like trying to eliminate an infestation of cockroaches by crushing them one or two at a time, these targeted killings are an effective form of resistance to the jihad. Notice how the European objections aren't quite as shrill as they used to be?

Sounds like the "Palestinian" terrorists' rockets have the same problem that Mohammad's "child bride" noted about the pedophile "prophet" himself:

They both "went off prematurely".

I think Hugh may have hit the nail on the head. Israel is exhausted. Her one-time staunch allies are having second thoughts. Europe has no trouble with its "first thoughts", which are becoming increasingly anti-semitic (meaning anti-Israel). This hints too strongly of petro-dollars to ignore, but I can offer you something far more troubling and, hopefully, thought provoking...

I am personally involved with a family that came to South Australia as refugees from intense persecution in Afghanistan. The husband and wife were both teachers, he at University, she in a BIG high school. They were serious upper middle class, with all the right credentials and a seriously healthy bank account (which ultimately saved their lives). Now, his brother was ANTI-Muslim and seriously anti-Taliban. His argument, backed by US supplied AK47's, was that Afghans are NOT Arab and can never be Arabised. The Taliban sought to disagree with him, to the extent that they dearly wished him "dead". But how to catch the wily fox?

This "rebel's" brother and sister-in-law were interrogated. The brother left with all his parts intact. She left minus both of her breasts. She "chose" to hate Islam; he chose to accept the "misunderstanding". They came to the Great Southern Land together, as refugees, because she was able to show Australian officials where her breasts used to be...

Their first-born is now serving big time in Adelaide hard assed gaol because of the brutal crimes he has committed against hapless citizens who know nothing of Allah or of his wonderful plans for all of humanity. The father supports his son. The mother vomits over all Muslim men. She is now in cognito, not daring to divorce her dispicable anti-semitic anti-western pig of a Muslim husband, lest he should find her and then kill her. She is now staunchly pro-Israeli. In her words:
