Hizballah fires rockets at Haifa

The crisis escalates. Breaking news: "Hezbollah fires rockets at Haifa," from the BBC:

The militant Lebanese group Hezbollah has fired rockets at the Israeli port city of Haifa, reports say.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

Haifa, Israel's third largest city, is situated more than 30km (18 miles) from the Lebanese border and was thought to be out of Hezbollah's range.

UPDATE: The BBC story linked above has now been revised to include the detail that Hizballah denies firing the rockets. And at least one person is confirmed dead.

There is only one appropriate response to this and that is take out the command and control in Damascus.

If that doesnt stop it, blast the hell out of Iran.

The IDF should show no quater to the enemy!

LOL WE STRONGLY CONDEMN ISRAEL'S FUTURE RESPONSE WHATEVER IT IS!

Cordially,
The European Union & United Nations

I agree with km. The problem is that the mad peacemonger, Ehud Baraq took Israel's forces out of south Lebanon in 2000, at the same time betraying our friends in Lebanon, etc. It has been known for years that Hizbullah was bringing in longer range rockets than they had had before. But nothing was done by the "peacemongers" to destroy or prevent that importation of rockets. One reason is that the international community, also called the West, wanted to build up the Nazis in Damascus, and was constantly complaining against Israel for defending itself, even in the minimal amount that it was defending the people.

I suggest as targets the poppy fields [for marijuana] in the Biqa`a valley and also burn the fields around all the Shi`ite villages in the south, where the goons were rejoicing over the kidnapping of the soldiers.

The road to peace for Israel is a huge column of tanks with jet fighters above rolling through Damascus, Mecca and Tehran and leveling anything that moves. Until all muslims are sent to copulate with their virgins, these madmen will keep coming.
Go Israel. May Victory be yours

Eliyahu,
OT:
I'm not sure marijuana comes from poppies. If so, those plants in my closet are gonna pretty much be useless...

Typically, poppies beget opium, and eventually heroin.

Israel just needs to take 'em all out. It won't end unless the Muslims are humiliated by apes and pigs.

It'll be sufficient for Israel to control and crush Hezbollah and Hamas in the street--so long as Israeli public opinion will allow them to do that. Extending the war to Syria would be a disastrous mistake at this point--i.e. so long as Iraq has not been stabilized and become a model for change...

It's European intellectuals' fault, as usual, that violence has had to be used instead of the West having been able to take a firm and united stand against Islamic terrorism from the outset.

Israel is doing the world a favor by crushing these devils. It's only a matter of time before Damascus goes up in a mushroom cloud.

Some selected pearls of wisdom from a non-political forum, regarding this subject:

Poor old Israel getting attacked.....theres me thinking it was the other way around

Probably another excuse for Isreali troops to invade Lebanon again. That's not good at all.

I hate it how these stupid selfish people are always making a ******* fuss, killing each other and distracting the world from the real problems that face all of us.

So just because 2 soldiers were kidnapped by a bunch of crazy militants, it's the right thing to invade a country and bomb/shoot/blow/kill the crap out of alot of other people?

I'm wondering if the jews haven't killed more other people by now than got killed in WW2...

Lets invade their country and destroy civilian property (wink:palestine) !! someone has to pay!

I guess the US is whole-heartedly supporting this war effort though? Nothing but a good middle east blow up. If this was say, Italy invading Switzerland we would all be up in arms. Just picture...Same situation only Italy vs. little Switzerland. But it's OK because everyone's a jihadist in the middle-east...I forgot about that one...

And so on.

I am not sure we need mushroom clouds, but a concerted air campaign against Syrian government and military infrastructure will bring about a change in Hezbollah tactics.

I'm not quite sure what Eliyahu meant - maybe there's a pun there or something - but I just googled "marijuana bekaa" and found he's quite right.

The first document brought up is a congressional one; it's entitled "The World's Largest Drugs Field":

Mr. Speaker, for some time now I have been trying to educate my colleagues on the brutal nature of the Assad regime in Syria. Syria is a state sponsor of terrorism. Syria's Armed Forces occupy large areas of Lebanon, thus denying the Lebanese people chance at true political reconciliation. The Syrian Government also runs drugs out of the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon, which is the issue I want to address today.

This is news to me, like so much that is posted here.

Israel now bombing south Beirut.

This after giving them an entire day's warning. Just palin stupid.

"The road to peace for Israel is a huge column of tanks with jet fighters above rolling through Damascus, Mecca and Tehran and leveling anything that moves."

erm. thats not the Israeli way of doing things.

targetting precision strikes are their forte.

the suggestion to take out the command and control in Damascus is a good one - the other suggestion about a mushroom cloud is utter lunacy.

Israel is a democracy folks. mass killing of civilians is not on their agenda.

Its going to be Israel to the rescue, so much hand wringing from the European wiennies, UN, etc. blow up Damascas..that is part of the head of the snake.

The subheadline "The crisis escalates" is a misleading one.

It should read "The Ongoing, Multi-front Global Islamic War Heats Up in Around Israel".

"Crisis" is such an amorphous word.

My Armchair General answer:

Declare a buffer region along Israel's northern border a depth equal to the deepest strike of an Arab rocket (18miles?). Make a similar zone along Gaza based on local threats.

If another strike occurs, the buffer areas are declared free-fire zones with 12 hour notice.

The buffer zone grows in depth when a longer-range weapon is fired.

Precisely our problem.
targetting precision strikes are their forte.

Making the enemy hurt enough that they won't try it ever again is what wins wars. That's why Israel hasn't won anything in some 20 years. We no longer play to win.

Nasrallah is laughing because we hit his little airport tarmac.

People are talking off the top of their heads. Can't blame them.
Israel is a democracy folks. mass killing of civilians is not on their agenda.

But what should be on the agenda is killing as many terrorists as possible, even if it means the killing of unarmed civilians in their vicinity. This is what Israel follishly doesn't do or tries to avoid way to much at the expense of giving advanced notices to the enemy.
"This after giving them an entire day's warning. Just plain stupid."

no. thats called being civilised.

No again. Offering your targets a day to pack and escape is just plain stupid.

Maybe Israel needs to tell the rest of the middle east, if our men aren't returned alive within say six hours, we will bomb mecca. Mecca would be a good bargaining chip. No soldiers...no mecca. And the next strike from anywhere, there goes mecca.

And that's what the world should be telling the islamics. And mean it.

I have got an even better plan for Israel.

Conquer Western Europe starting with France...Hehe.

The dhimmi World Press, the United Nations and the umnpteen peace organizations always have the same set of "inaccurate" terms to describe what's happening, whether it be in Israel, Iraq, Chechnya or India. Its always a case of "escalation of hostilities" or "violence spiralling out of control" or any variation of such terms... all meant to convey the impression that two sides in each conflict are equally to blame!

shy guy -> i'm on your side. i really am. its just that i cant see Israel hitting *that* hard against civillians. 18% of Israels population are Arab. they are a democracy - and unlike a dictatorship, they cant just do anything they want. they have to operate within constraints. thats just the nature of a free society. i dont see it as a weakness - i see it as a strength - for it gives the Israelis the moral upper hand.

however, freewoman's idea of a symbolic mecca strike - with no civilian casualties - is a better idea.

the mere threat of it could up the ante and get those soldiers released.

From the link above:

"...Israel warned that any armed person who came within a kilometer of the border with Israel would be fired upon.

The operation comes following a Hizbullah attack on Wednesday on the northern border that killed eight IDF soldiers and left two others in Hizbullah hands.

Al-Jazeera reported Thursday that the soldiers were alive at the time of the kidnapping, according to a Hizbullah source.

They were moved to a nearby mosque immediately after the abduction and then forced to switch clothes and taken by taxi to another location..."

Once again:

The mosques are the central headquarters, the centers of conspiracy and the bunkers for weapon storage, enemy fighters and kidnapped soldiers. Anyone confusing a mosque with a church or a synagogue is a fool, there is a huge, a fundamental difference. The mosques are not simply houses of worship, certainly not for the Mohammedans. The mosques should be seen as an Ersatz for the Fuhrer-bunker...

And taken out, of course!

She's told me that there is a lot more happening than we know about over in the USA and Europe as the media are not getting everything. She knows people in the IDF. She has been told to get her gas mask out of storage at home and stay there. She also said that IDF soldiers are patrolling streets and trying to reassure people.
Syrian Troops are massing near the Syrian border (golan heights) and the IDF are trying to figure out if it's just a precautionary move of something more sinister. She also mentioned about rockets hitting the town of Sedat. Unknown casualties. There are constantly Jets flying overhead and people are getting ready for another Arab Israeli war.

Shy guy, Israel does, when the situation is dire enough, abandon their non-effective "morally superior" stance, and will go directly after the moslem terrorists, even as they customarily hide among their women and children. Shortly before the attack, a rocket hit the old city in Safed, followed by another strike about an hour later. One of thirteen wounded people, who was initially listed in critical condition, later died of his wounds. Two others were seriously wounded, one moderately, and the rest were lightly wounded. A boy was reported missing, and was feared to be trapped in a building that was struck. Following the strike, power supply was cut in parts of the city.

Any one else have a sneaking suspicion that they may be going further and passing information to their beloved "militants" and "guerrillas"?

The IDF's Home Front Command ordered residents of communities north of the Amiad-Acre Road to remain close to their homes throughout Thursday and to pay attention to media outlets.

Should residents of the north hear an explosion or a siren, they are ordered to immediately enter bomb shelters or an inner room in their homes.

Still dressed in their pajamas and before they had a chance to brush their teeth, Inbal Elmaliach grabbed her two children, one 5 and the other 10 months old, secured them in the car and drove south out of Nahariya Thursday morning. Her hasty decision to leave came just a few minutes after a Katyusha rocket landed on the street where she lives in the heart of the Nahariya Hayarok neighborhood, leaving one woman dead and a further 29 wounded.

"We got out at 7:45 am," she said in a telephone interview from her in-laws home in the Krayot near Haifa. "We left without anything. No clothes, no shoes and no diapers. Many of my friends are still there and now they can't get out even though they are packed and ready to leave."

Elmaliach said that she and her husband now planned to spend the weekend with family near Jerusalem and that they had no immediate plans to return home.

"We are a very close community, everyone knows each other," continued Elmaliach, describing her neighborhood, which is a new area built a few years ago especially for families with young children.

"We know the woman who was killed and are really sorry for her family," she said.

She added that her own family had passed the night in their sealed room as directed by the Home Front command.

As of lunchtime Thursday, the Home Front Command was advising families in Nahariya to stay in or near their homes.

A friend of Elmaliach's, Aviv Lazarovitch, was sitting in his sealed room when The Jerusalem Post spoke to him Thursday.

"We are seriously considering leaving here too," he said. "My daughter who is four was hysterical this morning when she heard the rockets falling. She is calm now but we can't take much more."

Another Nahariya resident, Shirli Lagrissy, was already on her way to Petah Tikva with her three-year-old daughter.
"My sister was supposed to come and see us this weekend but now we will go and stay with her," said Lagrissy, who works in a woman's clothing store in the city. "It is very stressful and we have no plans to return until things calm down."

Further to the east, in Rosh Pina, resident Adam Stevens, a single father of two said that the situation was relatively calm where he was.

"They took the locks off of the bomb shelters," he told The Post, "But my daughter's summer camp is continuing as usual. I had to take the day off work because my son's special education school was closed down this morning after a Katyusha fell nearby."

A combat soldier in the reserves, Stevens said that he was concerned about being called up soon.

"I am worried about my kids and who will look after them," said the 41-year-old, who is formerly from New Zealand. "However, emotionally I want to get out there and fight for my country."

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Social Welfare set up a hotline Thursday to deal with the psychological stress faced by residents in the North from Metulla to Nahariya. Social workers, psychologists, education experts and volunteers will man the hotline, which can be reached by dialing 118. Residents of Nahariya can also call 04 987 9801 or 04 987 9811 for assistance. The ministry said it was also sending specialists in the field of trauma and stress to bomb shelters in order to help calm children and parents.

US vetoes UNSC resolution on Gaza
By ASSOCIATED PRESS
UNITED NATIONS
The United States vetoed Thursday an Arab-backed Security Council resolution that would have demanded Israel halt its military offensive in the Gaza Strip.

The draft, sponsored by Qatar, accused Israel of a "disproportionate use of force" that endangered Palestinian civilians, and demanded Israel withdraw its troops from Gaza.

I would wager the idea is to cut off all escape routes for Hebollah and then move into southern Leb to finish them off.

My only hope is that the IDF does the job properly!

Deleted by Robert or cyber jihadists?

Was wondering what happened to the outher posts

I'd think the latter. If it's the former, he must be in a really wacky mood. ;->

Seriously - I just posted something about a 1914 alert less than an hour ago and its gone. Everything posted in between 4:37 and 8:06 has vanished. Yesterday I was unable to log in altogether and it pretty much looked like all threads had frozen at about 3:30 pm. What IS going on?

And whatever it is - if it comes from outside attacks, the perpetrators should know that it only pisses us folks off more and doubles our resolve to defeat the global jihad, come hell or high water. Free speech just happens to be one of us westerners' "sacred cows" so to speak. Anyone stomping on that brings out the sort of equivalent fury observed in a Muslim seeing the Koran desecrated.

To km - no WAY deleted by Spencer. Either innocuous malfunction or cyber attack.

War is a horrible thing but it is not the most horrific thing that can happen. Lying down and surrendering your way of life without a fight is worse. Good luck Israel, keep them busy until we wake up and join you. The muslim world has 1400 years of payback coming, now is as good of a time as any. Maybe some of you muslims remember this from the 9/11 tapes "lets roll"

Churchill, a friend of mine in Israel told me the same thing(s). Get the gas masks handy and watch for Syrian movements, but Assad is a paper tiger. He'd never attack. I don't even buy the arguement that Syria and Iran are the nexus of evil. In truth, Assad is more worried about his own survival than taking on Israel; isn't he some sort of Islamic heritic by ethnicity anyway??

On the otherhand, Iran is certainly amongst the nexus of evil. In fact, they could be pulling the strings in Syria, offering, perhaps, protection to Syria not only from Israel--but, perhaps, against some sort of unforseen Sunni rebellion against Assad. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Iran holds the purse strings on both fronts of the Jihad against Israel.

But in a depressingly larger view of things, the more I learn about Islam, the more down I seem to get. It's not that I don't agree with Robert Spencer and Hugh. I've read some of the sources they promote to read, and, yes, they are right; Islam is a menace with a mission.

The point I'm getting is that in some cases ignorance is a kind of bliss. Many patients have walked into my office with one minor problem, and a few tests later, they have been diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer to the brain. The show is over.

I wonder sometimes. Could we go back in time to the Pre-911 era mentality of thinking! Ignorance is bliss. The world is our oyster as Americans. The cold war has been won. Islam means peace.

Of course, the analogy I'm making(in my typically poor literary fashion)falls apart; doesn't it. Perhaps the better analogy of Jihad Watch and education of the Islamist threat is this: we need to find the cancer early on, with a screening CT, educating ourselves on risks factors for cancer and treatment options. Same thing with Jihad. Sure, it's depressing that a billion of the earth's peoples worship a nutty, evil prophet, but that's the reality. It does no good to put our heads in the sand, ignoring the threat; allowing it to 'spread' to other 'organs' of the West. It must be addressed and viewed as a formidable foe, with a variety of attack strategies: some with terrorist JIhad, some with the demographic weapon as Hugh so well describes.

I have a theory that Hugh is a college professor. I wish I had a professor of his stature, and I might add I was a history major at Indiana University which had a great history department; top notch guys on Russian History who used to brief presidents. Probably not to keen on Jihad though, but what's new?

Something is up. I was unable to post any comments from around noon yesterday until today.

All earlier post's are gone.

biorabbi: "I have a theory that Hugh is a college professor. I wish I had a professor of his stature, and I might add I was a history major at Indiana University which had a great history department; top notch guys on Russian History who used to brief presidents."

There's little doubt in my mind that Hugh was an academic (who came to some inglorious end as far as I can surmise). Funny that you mention Russian History. Hugh knows way too much about Russia (can even speak the language) for that to be an accident. Could even have been Russian for all I know (with a perfect command of the English language). Possibly something to deal with the linguistics field even?

In any case, Hugh is either a bona fide international "Man of Mystery", or simply the best googler who ever lived (could be living in a mobile home in Arkansas with a shag rug and a toothpick in his teeth, laughing at the world for all I know :-)).

OT - but I saw a report on Fox tonight about a relatively poor Christian black community fighting the construction of a local mosque. The pastor of the local church actually called Islam an "evil religion"! I practically fell out of my chair. Of course there was a smooth talking CAIR spokesman on board. I assume this is the story, although I don't see the pastor's name. It's in Pompano Beach. If I knew the pastors name I would send him an email of support for his courage.:

Hopefully, Isreal will stop playing around and get down to business!

Finish the job this time!

Otherwise, ... you don't need me to tell you!

Yesterday I had trouble with Typekey, when I clicked the "sign in" link, I got an explorer "page unavailable" window. I have had two postings disappear.

That is a great example of anti-Dhimmis in action. I suggested the story a couple days ago but you should resend to Robert for posting on DW. It is worthy of discussion.

witness: "Finish the job this time!"

My minimal definition of finishing the job is for this to escalate to the point of either Israel or the US taking out Iran's nuclear program.

This provocation by Hamas and now Hezbollah, could actually prove to be a blessing in disguise for doing what needs to be done anyway. The other side is so damn clever in terms of justifying each of their aggressive steps in defensive terms. Its time the west figured out how to play the same rhetorical game. The opportunity to do so has been handed to Israel (and to its allies) on a veritable silver platter in this case. While this "iron is hot", the west needs to figure out how to play its cards in such a way that it is ultimately able to "strike" against Iran, and remove its incipient nuclear threat, while couching the whole thing as a necessary defensive measure. Kudos to John Bolton for refusing to condemn Israel. What Muslim country ever condemns a Muslim country, even when said country is manifestly committing genocide? Civilized people are sick of this crap! Sick of this 2-faced standard for civilized vs un-civilized people!

The iron is definitely HOT. NOW (or definitely in the near future) is the time to strike! It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. Much MUCH better a situation to strike in this context of an escalating conflict initiated by the enemy (in this case Iran, through its proxies -setting aside Syria for the moment) than just initiating such a thing (which needs to be done anyway) out of the clear blue sky!

The world is already shocked. All sorts of boundaries have already been breached. Thus, the set-up for a strike against Iran's nuclear program couldn’t be more perfect from a global psychological POV. If this whole thing backs down, I just don't see how such a perfect opportunity to deal with Iran is going to come up again anytime in the near future.

That isn't to say that I don't worry tremendously about our Israeli friends. But I don't think there's been a time in the near past when the world has been so much behind them from a moral perspective, since they withdrew from Gaza and the whole world can see how that was repaid in terms of "goodwill" from the Pali's and now Hezbollah.

I'm afraid if this lingers - if everyone forces the Israeli's to back down, that people will forget about this moral high ground that Israel has so obviously earned - (all along) but international memory is short! It can't be trusted!

In short, I feel this escalation must continue until the point that Iran's nuclear program is confronted militarily. Any backing down from that, seems to me, to spell the end of Israel's capacity to defend itself forever, which in the face of the global jihad, essentially means the end of Israel.

In short, my battle cry would be "On to Tehran! Strike while the iron is hot!"

From Caroline's referenced article above:

"Larkins drew applause from those in attendance at Tuesday's City Hall meeting when he said there was no need for the mosque in a predominantly black neighborhood.

His comments raised furor among the Muslim community when he was quoted by The South Florida Sun-Sentinel as saying Muslims "don't contribute a nickel to any cause in terms of improving the community." He went on to say "most black folks see them as people that come in to rape the community and go away."

Larkins said he is opposed to the way some Muslim business owners operate and treat blacks.

"I think it's a shame when I see beer and wine sold by people who claim that they preach Islam at 4 o'clock in the morning in my community," Larkins said."

Larkins for President.

-XRDC

XRDC - do you happen to know the name or email address of the local Christian pastor (the one who called Islam an "evil religion" on Fox news)? I don't think that was Larkin (unless I am misreading something here). I missed his name on the Fox broadcast and it doesn't appear in the article I posted. Because at the very least I would like to send him an email of support for him and his community. In fact, I would also like to refer him to links/literature about the reality confronting black Christians in Africa, just starting with Sudan and Nigeria. He's no shrinking violet, that's for sure. He definitely needs and deserves our support.

geekpunk - who called for the annhilation of all Muslims between Jerusalem and Tehran? You must be mistaking us for our enemies, who lump all infidels together as deserving of genocidal annhilation.

Tsk, tsk to you...

Caroline, I agree. Now is the time to hit Iran. She would not expect it as we are mired down in Iraq. And what would change? The Iraqis aren't exactly passsing out candy to the US troops now, are they? Israel is fighting Iran as we speak by its proxys. Is a move made without the blessing of the Chimp in Chief in Tehran? And, what would happen to the price of oil if we succesfully demolished or set back Tehran's nuclear program by a decade? Perhaps Israel should be bargaining to get their boys back. To accomplish this; take out the Iranian nuclear program, and capture the little chimp and use his ass as a bargaining chip. He could use a shave and a nice orange suit as well. I cannot think of a better time to hit Iran than now. I doubt the Sunnis in Saudi Arabia would lose much sleep over an Iranian hit. Hit the head of the snakes in Syria and Iran. What would happen to Israel? Another UN resolution? Don't make my laugh.

biorabbi: "I cannot think of a better time to hit Iran than now."

Me neither! If the international community can stand the shock of Israel hitting Beirut, then it can stand the shock of it hitting Iran (even backed up with the US). A whole lot of folks might actually breathe a huge sigh of relief, the Lebanese included (the ones we care about in any case). Plus, Iran is interfering in Iraq and already waging war against us there.

Everybody knows all this. Who cares about Iran exactly that they would come to Iran's defense? Russia? China? Really? I find that hard to imagine.

Does the call to annihilate all Muslims from Jerusalem to Tehran also includes our allies in the Iraqi police and army who are currently figthing the Islamic guerillas in Iraq?
True friends dont desert each other, tsk,tsk...

Geekpunk your immaturity is showing. There are not mo allies of America in Iraq. How many of our troops have been killed by these so called allies. As soon as the shia have sufficient power they will turn against America and demand that America leave and then start attacking American troops.

the mos are only loyal to islam and to fellow mos.

I spent some time searching and was just about to recommend referring Joe Kaufman but apparently he's all over it:

Hassan Sabri is the imam of the Islamic Center of South Florida and South Florida as we know is a virtual "Hot bed" of Islamic extremism.

I agree with the Pig loving Maldivian above. I no longer believe it's morally evil to wipe out the Mohammedans (provided they are first given an option of opting out of Islam to any other religion/cult, so that those who have doubts about it, or secretly want out get an exit route). The only reason I don't post such things myself or encourage them is the image - don't want to provide propaganda ammo to the detractors of J/W. Other than that, I have no problems with such sentiments - I've stopped regarding Mohammedans as human, and any sentiments against them is no different from anti-Nazi sentiments during WWII, or anti-Communist sentiments during the Cold War. I'd like to see them all drop dead, except the ones who are genuinely closet infidels, like the Pig loving Maldivian himself.

XRDC - thanks for those links! I also found this:

It may have been Rev O'Neal Dozier I saw on Fox (it wasn't Vines as I googled him and he's white). Pretty bold guy. In this article he says "History will judge us badly if these people came to our area and converted a lot of poor black people into that cult," Dozier continued."

Here's another link with a clearer picture of Dozier. I'm pretty sure that's him:

http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/front/14992571.htm

"'The Islamic religion in my view is a cult,'' Dozier said Friday, when asked to recap the controversial comments he made earlier on The Steve Kane Radio Show on WNN-AM 1470. ''On the show I said that Islam is a dangerous religion.''".............

"The black ministers' stance in opposition to the mosque has surprised some experts on Islam.

"''For the first time, you are seeing a group of black pastors following the white fundamentalist leaders of our country,'' said Lawrence Mamiya, an activist and professor of religion and Africana studies at New York's Vassar College.

"Traditionally, blacks and Muslims in America have forged a healthy, harmonious relationship -- in part because their leaders tackle the same issues affecting their neighborhoods -- drugs, crime, racism and other social ills, Mamiya said.

"If ministers' sentiments about Islam were to become a trend, it would cause a ''serious serious split in the black community,'' and threaten that relationship, Mamiya said.

"Asked on Friday to respond to Dozier's comments, Altaf Ali, executive director of the Florida Chapter of the Council of American-Islamic Relations, said he has tried unsuccessfully to meet with Dozier.

"''I want a chance to respond and refute these accusations,'' Ali said Friday. ''It appears that he doesn't have that much knowledge about Islam.''

"In an interview with The Miami Herald last week, Dozier had declared: ''We don't want our area to be a breeding ground for terrorists.''"

Reverend Dozier apparently doesn't do "interfaith dialogue". I love it.
