Tehran, Iran, Jul. 26 – Iran’s hard-line Majlis Speaker said on Tuesday that the “flame of battle with Israel will not be extinguished” and praised the Lebanese militia Hezbollah for continuing to lunch attacks on the Jewish state.“The experience of 60 years of resistance by the Islamic world against the establishment of an Israeli government in this region should have taught the people of the world and Europe that their tactics will not reach anywhere and that the flame of battle with Israel and resistance will not be extinguished, even if the Israelis make short-term victories”, Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel said during a press conference.
He rejected the possibility of Hezbollah being disarmed.

As long as groups like Hezbollah receives support from State Run countries and vow to keep killing the Israeli nation should continue be on the offensive. NO more being on the defensive. If you are going to die, it is better you go out fighting.

Tziona, that's it exactly. Every time they start calling for a truce, you KNOW they are getting their arses shot off. Israel has planned this strategically and bombed out their bridges, roads, etc. to make it VERY difficult for Hezbollah to get more weapons delivered. At the moment, some of them are shaking in their sandals in a mosque - wondering if they are going to be blown to bits. I imagine their line of communication is very limited so they are probably having a lot of problems with reinforcements, etc.

Interesting that Chirac (can't stand him) actually said that they would consider being a part of a NATO peacekeeping force but of course (as the French always do) he went on to say they would not be responsible for fighting Hezbollah or taking Hezbollah out or something like that. Typical French. Their idea of fighting is surrender. I wonder how effective their part of any NATO unit would be when it came to actually preventing more terrorism on the border? A news article today said that 30% of French are anti-Israel. Surprise surprise! The French anti-Semitic? Wow! Now THERE's a shocker!

These last sixty years have indeed taught us a few things, but not that the Islamic "resistance" will never be "extinguished."
They've taught us that the "flame of battle" will only be extinguished by us. This time we are all Israelis--our very survival is at stake--and we must beat our powshares into weapons and stoke the flames of battle until we finally and forever defeat this enemy that will not go away on its own.

I believe that the violence against Israel is a 'smokescreen of blood' for what is to come. Iran is working to develop a nuclear weapon which they plan to destroy Israel with.
August 22 is the date when Iran's leadership believes they will have enough enriched uranium to build between 2-3 nuclear warheads -- AND -- August 22 is when Iran will seek to sit down and negotiate with the EU/USA about a "peaceful" nuclear weapons program (uh-huh).
Iran will accept $20 billion plus dollars to stop enriching uranium and begin plans to allow Russia to build and monitor a nuclear reactor for "electricity" (right!).
In my opinion, Iran will take that $20 billion and use it to finance Global Terrorism and re-arm Hezbollah as Iran secretly starts production on nuclear weapons.
Some experts think that Iran will have a nuclear missile between 3-5 years, while others think they will have one in less time. But get this -- Israel believes Iran could have a nuclear missile by SEPTEMBER 31, 2006!!!
My money is on Israel, and this is only the beginning folks.
The war with Israel will continue. And if the madman Ahmadinejad is to be believed, it will last until the return of the Mahdi. Mahmoud can't wait! The man is insane.
