The Mosaic Religious Community has advised its Jewish members against speaking Hebrew loudly on the streets of Oslo or wearing Jewish emblems. The suggestion has infuriated some in the membership.It comes after a Jewish man wearing a kippah, or yarmulke, was assaulted on an Oslo street Saturday. The Mosaic Religious Community wants its members to be careful.
"We have encouraged our members to avoid speaking Hebrew loudly on the street," Anne Sender of the Jewish organization told newspaper Vårt Land. She also told Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) that men may want to reconsider wearing the yarmulke.

What happened to that idyllic multicultural society where everyone lives in perfect harmony and basks in the glory of diversity? What about the vaunted "mosaic" that enriches the life of every citizen, regardless of his national origin, ethnicity, religion?
It is disgraceful when a country contrives an artificial society comprised of many incongruous groups, and then tells one group that it will not be protected under the laws of the land. But this same scenario is occurring all over Europe simply because muslims are violent and predatory, and Jews are not. Muslim anarchists terrorize European populations with impunity. Why can't the law be enforced?!

More proof of how our politicians fell for the dewy-eyed notion that we can all live together in the blissful world of eudaemonia. What on earth made our political masters think that you could bring sworn enemies into a peaceful society and these enemies would divest themselves of their ancient hatreds at the border? If this keeps up all police forces will have to have a special unit that deals with muslim crimes and keeping muslims in check.
I'm sure the average Norweigian would recognize such symbols of Judaism as a Star of David medalion, the distinctively Jewish skullcap (kee' pah) as opposed to the Muslim version, but just how many of them would recognize the sound of Hebrew being spoken?

Vidkun Quisling's government was understaffed because Norwegians were not willing to help it, so it made much use of German officials. The bishops of the State church and many dissenting church leaders joined in condemning anti-Jewish measures, and said that their people were not required to obey them. Half of Norway's small Jewish community was smuggled to safety, even though half perished.
As for Norwegian surrender, its population was only a few millions all told (not counting reindeer in Lappland and Finnmark), and its army small and underequipped. Still, its government fled and ordered its considerable merchant marine scattered in order to join allied war efforts.
Wasn't it a Norwegian "feminist" who warned women against wearing "provocative" clothing now that they live in a multicultural society? (Essentially blaming women for their own rapes at Muslim hands).
