It doesn't understand the nature of jihad warfare, it doesn't understand the implications of Muhammad's dictum "war is deceit," and it doesn't understand that Israel doesn't strike civilians intentionally. Above all, Condoleeza Rice doesn't seem to understand any of this, and is using the Qana incident to press for a cease-fire -- which in such a context would just reward the Hizballah practice of firing from civilian areas, and would thereby encourage it.

Nobody understands that the history of jihad conquest shows very clearly that muslims never differentiated between military and civilian populations. They have wiped out populations of infidel cities wherever they invaded and won. They never gave any quarter, any consideration, towards either females or children, the elderly, the sick, or expecting women. The latter got the worst treatment. I have done a lot of reading on this, and I have yet to find out ONE incident of a muslim showing mercy when he had the power to kill.
in line with what arjun said, the powers making up the UN security council ought to know that Nasrallah and hizbullah do not believe in or accept the very notion of human rights, or respect civilian life, of any rights not bestowed by Islam. They certainly reject the very notion of equality for non-Muslims. And we know that according to Islamic jihad, only Muslims have rights. Yet, the UN security council condemns Israel, whereas Nasrallah who rejects the moral basis of their condemnation of Israel [hypocritical as that condemnation is], is not condemned.
