One would hope that discovering members of the Salafist Group for Call and Combat (GSPC), operating in multiple Italian cities (and who knows how many more?) would bolster the political will in Europe to deal with rampant illegal immigration from North Africa. But that remains unlikely as long as such activities are attributed to that ever-expanding Tiny Minority of Extremists.
Eurabia Alert from CNN:
ROME, Italy (CNN) -- In a series of morning raids, Italian military police arrested five Algerians for their alleged affiliation with a terrorist group, authorities said Friday.
According to the Italian Carabinieri, investigators discovered a cell linked to an Algerian militant organization known as the "Salafist Group for Call and Combat (GSPC)," whose logistical base was in Vicenza, but also had operations in Brescia, Naples and Salerno.
According to authorities, the group is part of a "global jihad" recruitment program that is also involved in the production of counterfeit documents, including false IDs, living permits and work contracts to be used by illegal immigrants.
For every cell which is arrested there will be many more. 99% will be making noise, acting as bait, diverting the attention of the security services.
I just wanted to point out that, perhaps not coincidentally, there is a US Army base located in Vicenza.
It's frustrating to see Islamist terrorist cell after Islamist terrorist cell exposed all over the world yet the Western media and politicians remain oblivious to the real nature of Islam. It's almost a constant, weekly thing yet still the blindness continues.
On a slightly encouraging note, I've been seeing more comments lately in the letters to the editor section of the local newspaper from people talking about Islam's intolerance including what's in the Koran. There are also the usual PC apologist letters decrying the divisiveness of these statements, ignoring the fact Islam has already divided the world into Muslims and dirty Kafirs, but still, it encourages me to see more people willing to speak out than before.
So much more needs to happen, though.

There is a large and scholarly cache of information about immigration to the UK, both illegal and legal, at

with full details of the lies being fed to us on this subject by our government.
Dominic.
Oh dear. Once again we see the 'immigrants' in Italy attempting to bite the hand that feeds them. These same immigrants who in Signor Prodi's own words, he has no problem in granting citizenship to, if they have been living in Italy for five years - irrespective of what they may have been doing since they turned up illegally on Italy's shores - perhaps planning to blow up the churches of Florence or perhaps the colosseum in Rome. And yet we see Oriana Fallaci being dragged over the coals to hell and back, and being unable to return to what is HER COUNTRY, for daring to warn us all about these 'invaders' in her books. But Europe's eyes will still not open. Most people will still remain in denial about this threat, choosing rather to believe the idiotic left, and their even more idiotic press, with the trash that they continue to feed us all about how these individuals were just a few fringe lunatics and how they don't represent the majority of peace loving...bla bla bla.
Heres the full Al-beeb report on the Somali situation.

Its been a big week for Jihad.
I thought the Italians had given up, resigned themselves to Sharia takeover. So why the sudden concern? Oh, I get it. They don't wanna be disturbed by annoying loud bomb explosions as they pursue their collect La Dolce Vita to the bitter end.
Go git 'em, Judge.
lets define a "tiny minority of extremist muslims are terrorist".
Pat Buchanan the originator of "cut and run" policy, which then emboldened Hizbollah. the only major mistake that Pre.Ronald Reagon did was take Pat Buchanan's advice.
Good to see the Italian authorities on their toes.
And the question remains:
What are Islamists doing in Europe again?????
Time to send them home where they belong!

Alarmed Pig Farmer: the situation in Italy is extremely complex. The current majority is split in two. The majority of the majority, so to speak, is basically unsympathetic to Islam (many of them are Catholic) and outspokenly supports Israel. So does the whole opposition. However, the current government cannot stand up without the support of two Communist parties, one Green, and one extreme liberal - the Radicals - which, between the lot of them, have less than twenty per cent of the total vote, but who keep blackmailing the rest. They are, in various ways, clearly pro-Arab and pro-Muslim the worst being Oliviero Diliberto, the leader of the two Communist parties, who openly shilled for Muslim Brotherhood votes in the last election (and was punished by the electorate). Because these men are fanatics, they have no respect for the will of the majority and the rules of democracy, and their support for the government is best compared to the way the rope supports the hanged man. There have recently been rival demonstrations in Rome, pacifists and Muslims on one side, Jews and Israel supporters on the other; and it is interesting that not only Mr.Berlusconi and his whole party, but also all the non-extreme parts of the government, have been found on the side of the Jews. The pacifists found themselves rather isolated.
(This, in turn, results from an appalling series of incidents that took place on April 25 in Milan. April 25, 1945, was the day when the Nazis, after two years of bloody and hideous occupation, surrendered the city of Milan to the victorious Partisans - the Allies only arrived a day or two later. Ever since then, it has been celebrated as Liberation Day in Italy. However, this year's celebrations have been marred by two obscene incidents. The father of a former Berlusconi minister, who was in fact a Partisan veteran as well as chairbound, was barracked and threatened with physical violence by some Communist youths; and the Arab members of a pacifist pared shouted anti-Jewish slogans and publicly burned Israel flags in a ceremony meant to celebrate the fall of Nazism. This left an horrible impression on public opinion at large.)
To sum up, the friends of Muslims and terrorists are outnumbered and unpopular, but they are in a position of power from which they cannot be removed without the collapse of the current government and the return of the disastrous Berlusconi. Nice situation we're in.
Paolo,
What if someone like Pierferdinando is made leader of the Opposition and this current gov collapses and new elections are called for the autumn ?

Italy is the most beautiful country on Earth. Roman Girls are, well, breathtaking, as I'm sure you see every day, Paolo.
But: Marx + MSM= Fictive Reality. And we all know what that Fictive Reality surrounds. Italy may well go down first, the Vatican along with it.
PAS: unfortunately, that is impossible as long as Berlusconi is alive and moderately healthy. Looking back, the decision of a number of Italian politicians to back him in 1994 turned out to be the most disastrous in our recent history since the King summoned Mussolini to form a Cabinet in 1922. Anyone who hopes for a decent and constructive conservative politics in Italy is praying hard for Berlusconi's death.
APF: one thing I should have mentioned is that, almost alone in Europe, the Italiam MSM are increasingly unsympathetic to Islam and the anti-Israeli cause. Even the left-wing LA REPUBBLICA takes a realistic line. The only newspaper which is openly on the Arab side is the Communist IL MANIFESTO, on which I did actually read an editorial that said that Islamic violence is "a revolutionary element" and ought therefore to be supported; and, interestingly, IL MANIFESTO is very close to bankruptcy and closure.
