Consider the closure of theatres and performances. Consider the inordinately large amounts of taxpayers money that is spent on propitiating the needs, wants and desires of this one small group as compared to any other small group in UK society. Consider the public library service librarians who refuse to stock material that this group may find offensive. Consider the book-shops that also practice culling of their offerings to the public in order not to offend this one small group. Consider the printing firms that refuse to print some publishers works out of fear of 'reprisals'. Consider the financial institutions that have had to invent new products so that they don't get called racist. Consider the education system's curriculum and the massive changes that have had to be made to it to accomodate the wishes of this one small group. Add to all that the hundreds, nay thousands, of tiny changes to the British way of life that we have had to make in order to accommodate the primitive world view of this one small group and then, if you dare, tell me that I do not have a point.
The inescapable conclusion is that the UK is a country that inclines to a sharia type of interpretation of its laws in so far as it dares to apply its laws to moslems. It does so out of fear. We should all know what happens to a country which, out of fear, seeks to be a politically correct, middle of the road, offend no-one pander to everyone entity. You don't? Oh, lá lá... how long it will take before English people start becoming a taste of what is like to be a Serb.
Usually, I am not "schadenfreudig" , but I do remember my English friends calling me a "racist" and explaining to me in a patronising manner that Moslems in Bosnia and Kosovo are "rebelling" bascially because Serbs are primitive and despotic, and that something like that could never never never happen in EU, let alone in UK. (Well, some of them changed their minds, but Serbs lost Kosovo, or at least it will cost lot of blood to get it back).
I grew in socialist Yugoslavia and can tell you, what happend in Bosnia and Kosovo is the result of extensivelly deployed multiculturalist concepts and ad nauseum executed positive discrimination towards Muslims and by no means consequence of any sort of lack of "equal rights". I´ve spent some time in UK and been living in Germany for 16 years now and often I have so strong déjá vu feeling. EU is so similar in its idea and ideology to ex-Yugoslavia. Bad for EU. Bad for native Europeans. Good for Moslems.
I will end my small narrative by translating a post of a Bosnian Moslem girl I recently found on Serbian Cafe (a chat site). I assume this girl would be described by any UK journalist as open, secular and all that.

After a long time I finally decided to start posting something. Been a reader of JW for a while now. Anyway...
All citizens of democratic countries should find a way to communicate to their countries' bast*rd politicians that we can't stand watching while they practially give our countries on a platter to these nutters. I mean, what's the difference between a dictatorial regime and a democratic govt. if the leaders refuse to listen to the people? The state in my country (India) is really frightening. The last straw for me was when they attacked a nd killed (I think one) scientist at Indian Institute of Science international science seminar. I now tell all very proudly that I am intolerant of muslims until they stop adding the 'but' in their comments on any terrorist attacks.

FoeHammer, isn't there a way in American democracy, by which citizens can propose a new law or policy to the govt? How does that work and can it not be used to force your govt to change their poilicies regarding immigration and force them first to remove Saudi from your friendly country list?
I have admired western countries for as long as I have been a student of science and it has been almost all my life. It is painful to see really intelligent societies fall to self-destructive habits just because of some thoughtless habits such as PC and policies such as no questions asked immigration. Oh and, I can't even stand people that want to talk against profiling. I have gone through extra long searches many times at US airports but, I have no qualms about it. I prefer that to being dead.

Yes, there are clear ways to affect change in our United States government. The most effective is word-of-mouth campaigns that ignite into pressure upon our State Congressmen and Senators via more concrete means like faxes and letters and phonecalls. Talk Radio, blogging, letters-to-the-editor, they have all played roles in recent years in addressing issues and even stopping insane policies. One that comes to mind right off is how the "U.S. port control to Muslim nations" debacle took off like a rocket once it made the airwaves on Talk Radio. As a direct result, Congress put a stop to it.

The CIA World FactBook puts the population of Britain as of June 2006 at 60,609,153 people. 92.1% of the population is white, with all other races making up the remaining 7.9%. But while Islam is practiced by both blacks and Asians in this country the actual number of practicing Muslims makes up only 2.7% of the population, or 1,636,447 Muslims. This figure while still low does mean that there are approximately 6.7 Muslims for every sq km of land in Britain. Alarming maybe until you consider there are just over 244 people of all other faiths sharing each sq km with those few Muslims.
Anjem Choudary who would undoubtedly like to lead an Islamist uprising in Britain is already faced with difficult odds.
He makes a comparison to the civil war he would like to see in Britain with the Bosnian war. But that comparison is misleading. (A Soldier's Guide to Bosnia-Herzegovina) produced by: Headquarters, U.S. Army Europe, Office of the Chief of Public Affairs, states that the majority religion in Bosnia is Muslim at 44% of the total population. Choudary also fails to mention that the Muslims in Bosnia (Bosniaks) were supported by NATO during their campaign.
I wonder what Anjem Choudary would hope to achieve by instigating a civil war in Britain? A war of Bosnian severity here with the current population make up could not hope to capture any territory and keep it for any length of time on such a crowded island. The casualty rate for Muslims would leave them severely reduced in capacity to launch further attacks and an actual war with fighting in the streets would definitely result in the closure of the borders to stop more fighters entering the country. We live on an island that even the German army could not capture.
The best that Anjem Choudary could hope to achieve is to cause enough discomfort to the British people that the government would accept peace terms allowing Muslims special status as a state within the state. This is a real possibility under a leftist government but does not take into account the possibility that a civil war could cause the downfall of the government for it to be replaced by a militant right wing government. Also it assumes that the British people are in some way soft and would accept anything if it meant peace.
The general mood of the public is already disfavourable towards Islam well before a civil war could occur. And a Bosnian type conflict incurring casualties on a heavily outnumbered Muslim army would only serve to bolster public opinion against Islam.
Anjem Choudary could be seen as a god send to Britain because every time he speaks out opinion of Islam goes down.
Maybe Islamic world domination is impotent. They at least seem to be suffering from premature ejaculation.

Mr Choudary should be given his own television program on prime time BBC. He should be allowed to explain on air exactly what's in those unchanging, immutable Islamic canonical texts. He should be allowed to explain what 1300 years of tafsir, or religious commentary says about the treatment of infidels under Islamic rule. He should be allowed to explain the doctine of Naskh, or abrogation, and how this leads to all the later violent verses abrogating or cancelling out all of the earlier peaceful ones. He should be allowed to explain how Muhammad is al-insan al-kamil, the perfect role model for all time, and what exactly this role model did to the Jewish tribe of the Banu Quraysha, to Asma bint Marwen and to Abu Afak. This intolerable feeling of being "under siege" is, of course, nonsense. It is Infidels who in Holland (those assassinations), in Denmark (those riots, boycotts, threats to murder all Danes visiting abroad), in Spain (the Atocha atrocity), in Italy (how many plots uncovered having to do with that single mosque in Viale Jenner alone?, the demands that the crucifix be removed from all public buildings, the outcry against Oriana Fallaci's truth-telling, the threats on the life of Magdi Allam and Sheikh Palazzi), in France (how many plots has Jean-Louis Bruguiere uncovered, with the no-nonsense ruthlessness of the French secret service, whatever the chiracs and villepins may vapor on about), in England (the successful attack, and the many unsuccessful ones), and everywhere in the Infidel lands, who are "under siege." I wonder how many of those canonical texts Anjem Choudary actually read? While he was following his career peacefully as a solicitor and therefore an integral part of British law. Taking the wages offered by the judicial system and the societal stature that goes with the job. Everybody knows a solicitor as a well paid job. Only the advent of the ambulance chasers as really tarnished their reputation.
Instead he as forsaken the skill that British society helped him to attain and is now a dole scrounging subversive using the excuse of jihad to do no work at the tax payer’s expense.
But the law changers are at work. The 90 day rule is back on the agenda and also a law to reduce Terrorists benefits to subsistence levels is being suggested.

Thanks for your great post Serbian girl. I have been very interested in the situation in Serbia ever since the idiots in my government sided with the enemy. The U.S. government is still clueless about Islam, despite 9-11, despite the hopeless plight of Israel, despite a plethora of empirical evidence that they continue to ignore. I don't know when they will wake up and realize that Islam is the most inimical ideology on the planet.
Or maybe saving muslims is really important to Washington for reasons I cannot imagine. I feel like the West turned on its own in this conflict, and I will never understand what compelled or sustained this betrayal other than European guilt for Middle Eastern colonization. What price must the Western world pay for Europe's past mistakes, and what about Islam's colonization of Western lands? Why is there such a glaring double standard? The conflicts in your part of the world wouldn't exist if not for Turkey's imperialism many years ago, would it? But I don't see any reparations being offered by the Turks. Muslims are never made to pay for their crimes against humanity, they only win more concessions from stupid Westerners.

The security at all the Indian airports is really tight, thank God. No one dares to complain, as they go through the slow lines, body searches behind the curtain, looking in the wallets, taking out the camera batteries etc. Plenty of burka clad muslims, and not a peep. How bold and brave they suddenly get once their feet touch America, and Britain. Their never ending whining begins. Let racial profiling of muslims begin. They are asking for it.
Mert: I am so with you mate, and I hope others will speak up as well. Those (American) doomsayers that describe Britain as a 'gone case' seem to ignore the men from 3rd Para that are taking bullets in the fight against radical Islam. Likewise, if the rednecks could have viewed the wearing of the cross of St. George recently, they would have seen a vast declaration for Christian / western values (it is after all a red cross).
Choudry is pathetic, and we in the UK have already dismissed him. I can't speak for other UK posters, but I'm looking for what I feel would be the equivalent of a Templar movement, that embodies the protection of Christian values whilst at the same time it kicks some ass.
Why do some UK Muslims think that a civil war would end in their favour? It is a truism among many of them that British society is so morally decadent that they can't understand why it hasn't collapsed into chaos already and expect it to do so any day now. The fact that it doesn't they find puzzling and annoying.
The average young male who has grown up in an Islamic society on first arriving in the UK is confronted by an entire population of females providing him with an absolutely shameless display of flesh - and wherever he goes in public: he cannot get away from it. Some of the more sensitive Muslim women in the same situation are so freaked by it that they have to return to their home country. Made of sterner stuff, the males merely go through a phase where they cannot stop playing with themselves whenever they get a chance. I've been told by a rather lapse Muslim that this experience is almost universal on the part of young Muslims new to the ountry. Reduced to sunken eyed, pale faced shadows by these evil infidel women! I think they must project this experience on to the indigenous males who naturally remain in that state perpetually because they don't have the help of allah to eventually get a grip on themselves, so to speak.
