A MUSLIMS-only day at Britain’s biggest theme park has been axed after a huge bookings flop.Organisers Islamic Leisure had hoped to attract 28,000 people to the event at Alton Towers, Staffs, on September 17 — but less than 1,000 tickets were sold.
This story reminds me of that banal slogan from the '60s, "Suppose they gave a war, and nobody came."
I guess someone forgot to tell the ummah that having a good time doesn't only consist of engaging in da'wa or waging jihad.

Exactly what happened when a fun park in my city hosted an eid special. There were no muslims. And the Hindus are boycotting the park so far. They are begging the people to come. Well, it's been a long time, think I'll check in this Friendship Day.

I believe that Alton Towers were questioned on that proposition. Their defense consisted of the fact that they were a private company and were entitled to hire their facilities to whomsoever had the money and desire to pay for them. With luck (please God!) the flops will get even bigger for Alton Towers very soon now. I, for one, will never take my family anywhere near the place, and I fervently hope that everyone else with any sense will feel the same way.
If there is any justice Christians, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Rastafarians, Secularists/Agnostics, and the whole damn lot of us out here will simply choose to spend our cash at a rival establishment. Anywhere, in fact, apart from there.

I bet if you pitched your "Osamaland" or "Jihadland" Theme Park idea in the right rich oil sheiks they would love it. The sad part is that given what I know now about the "Religion of Peace", the whole silly idea of an Islamist theme park celebrating martyrdom and the slaughter of Infidels doesn't seem so farfetched.
Ahhh... you folks have obviously never heard of Fantazy Land, an Egyptian theme park which puts all others to shame.

Fantazy Land - Based on most pictures I've seen from the lands of Arabic Islam, this place looks all spruced up for opening day.
Dubai (Dubya's good buddies, you know those "good Muslims" to whom he has entrusted port operations and security) have invested billions of our money, in their supposed future. Knowing that the oil will run out in a few years, they have built a "fun park" called Wild Wadi (it's only customers so far have been "The Great Race" contestants.. They have also built elaborate islands, hotels, condo's, etc on the Gulf, and carved an elaborate canal out of the sand..all of it featured a number of times on Discovery Channel.
With all of that investment, the only customers they have so far is Michael Jackson, who now lives there secure in his Abaya/Chador and some of the insanely wealthy, British rock "stars" and others who have more money than they know what to do with.. I guess they can buy anything they want in Dubai, from little boys to little girls.

I wasn't impressed.
It is definitely not an amusement park that I would take a child to visit.
Looks like they have turned the water exhibit into a cess pool of garbage.
Bet those rides aren't too safe.
