Iran irate over nuclear deadline

Oh dear. The dhimmis' latest spurious line in the sand and "Let-Us-Pay-You-Tribute-Please" deadline has angered the Thug-In-Chief and his minions. No doubt he senses their weakness and pusillanimity and knows that a display of trumped-up righteous anger will weaken what little resolve they do have, and bring them closer to total capitulation. From AFP, with thanks to DFS:

TEHRAN : Iran reacted angrily to a UN Security Council resolution ordering the Islamic to freeze sensitive nuclear work by the end of the month.

UN Resolution 1696, which dangles the threat of sanctions unless Iran halts uranium enrichment and other work that could help build a nuclear bomb, was welcomed by the United States and its allies but decried as "destructive and totally unwarranted" by Iran's UN ambassador.

"I would suggest to you that this approach will not lead to any productive outcome. It can only exacerbate the situation," Javad Zarif told the Security Council.

"The Americans must be sure that Iran will not take part in a game which it will lose," Kazem Jalali, spokesman for the Iranian parliament's foreign affairs commission, was also quoted as saying by the ISNA news agency.

"If there were to be a loser, it would be those who have shifted the Iranian nuclear issue away from dialogue," he warned.

"Dialogue" in this context meaning "abject surrender to Iran."

Trying to "talk" to Iran is an effort in futility. True, history will show we did try the dialogue routine. History may well show that only action taken resolved the issue. I pray the correct action is taken.
The way MINNIE so boldly talks, it makes me wonder if he has not secured some type of military pact with China or Russia.
I believe one of the better ways to deal with Iran is to foster support to the various internal factions in Iran that do not support MINNIE. MINNIE is having some difficulty keeping the lid on internal disent. There have been several protests in Iran against the living conditions, the political suppression and the violent nature MINNIE's leadership is taking. The mainstream media convienently chooses not to cover this phenomenon. An internal revolt within Iran is entirely possible.
Contrary to what the mainstream media would have you believe, Islam is not united. We could work in ways to cause greater rifts from within. Islam is self destructing and we could help.

Hey, Spencer... ...even if there wasn't a dram of weakness or pussilanimity in the dhimmis' response, a meglomaniacal head case like Ahmadinejad would still see it.

About one third the way down.

Interesting article. Especially the part where their hardline newspaper calls on them to attack our nearby military bases as a first step to war with the Infidels.

This is interesting because only 2 days ago, I read on a Shi-ite website blog that they believe that the 12th Imam will appear in southern Iran and will gather his army and attack Iraq and then head north to Syria.

Now, since the monkey believes that he is able to make the road ready (kinda like John the Baptist) for their 'anti-christ' - 12th Imam, then maybe they are getting their suicide bombers and military ready as is Syria.

If this is the case, we could see something worse than 911 happening between now and August 22. Iran and Syria may be getting ready to attack Israel and our military bases. AND, I FIRMLY believe that they have a deal with N Korea (who we know has exchanged nuclear technology with them for their missile technology) to simultaneously attack the US, either on our mainland OR our bases in Hawaii and Japan and S Korea.

People, be prepared for the worst, just in case.

"Iran irate"

Now if two words ever belonged side-by-side -- these two do!

Here is the full text of UN Security Resolution # 1696 that was adopted on July 31,2006 and directed at Iran.
