Nasrallah: We'll bomb Tel Aviv if Beirut attacked

Nasrallah still breathing threats and murder. From Ynet News, with thanks to Sr. Soph:

Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah threatened to bomb Tel Aviv during a TV address Thursday night, should Israel attack in Beirut. "If you indeed do this, I say this clearly. I won't use terms I used up to now, past Haifa, but I will say clearly and in a way that is not open to interpretation: If you bomb our capital we'll bomb your capital. We'll bomb Tel Aviv and we can do this."

A senior Israeli defense source told Israel's Channel 1 that Israel will destroy Lebanon's infrastructure if Hizbullah fires rockets at Tel Aviv.

During the speech, which was aired on al-Manar TV, Nasrallah discussed the 'importance' of ground battles by Hizbullah members against IDF units: "We are fighting against very heavy pressure and are fighting battles of heroism across the whole front." He added that his organization had many anti-tank weapons.

Nasrallah branded Prime Minister Ehud Olmert a "fool" for "declaring a victory too early." "He wants to look like (Ariel) Sharon, (Yitzhak) Rabin, and (Menachem) Begin. Ask him where the accomplishments are that he promised you," Nasrallah said. He added that he was following Israeli analysts.

Jerusalem is our capitol, pretty boy.

I don't believe it. There's been speculation that Israel could have put more boots on the ground and Olmert was interfering. I don't buy it. I doubt he is, and I think the IDF knows exactly what it is doing. Hizbollah was expecting a ground assault, and it didn't get it.

http://www.americanthinker.com/articles.php?article_id=5720

I think Hizbollah is getting chewed up - hence the silly little man in Iran is posturing:

"Although the main solution is for the elimination of the Zionist regime, at this stage an immediate ceasefire must be implemented," Ahmadinejad said

In other words, let us off the hook until we're ready.

No way. Even the French, who would rather not annoy Iran as they do a lot of business there, are suggesting that now is not the time for a ceasefire and producing excuses for that stance. They're right there: no, it's not.

I think that if they could hit Tel Aviv they would have done it by now.

Given that the IDF has been bombing sites in Beirut for a little while now, can we take the "if" as indication that Nasrallah is making his appearances for a secure undisclosed location far away, or that he is otherwise disconnected from reality on two counts as Jerusalem is Israel's seat of government and not Tel Aviv.

May Nasrallah's shrieking be nothing more than that of the knight in Python's Holy Grail movie of years past: hollow defiance as his various limbs are cut off by his opponent, one-by-one.

"Nasrallah branded Prime Minister Ehud Olmert a "fool" for "declaring a victory too early." "He wants to look like (Ariel) Sharon, (Yitzhak) Rabin, and (Menachem) Begin. Ask him where the accomplishments are that he promised you," Nasrallah said. He added that he was following Israeli analysts."

Guess he is saying Isreal needs someone like one of those guys. Apparently, they weren't "foolish"

This does obliquely bring up the question as to why Israel is even considering a buffer zone between Galilee and Hizbullah. After all, if they have these long range missiles, like Zilzab, these buffer zones are meaningless: one could have Hizbullah evacuated completely from Lebanon and have its rockets installed in Latakya and Damascus, and places like Haifa would still be within their firing range. And even if there were, say, French troops south of the Litani, they'd be completely powerless to intercept such missiles.

Given this, Israel should settle for nothing short of the eradication of Hizbullah: a buffer zone is as meaningless as a ceasefire.

The loud mouth nasrallahaha has been saying that he and his "army" have put the Israeli soldiers exactly where he wanted them and how brave his fighters(puke) are. He's so full of crap. He's as chicken as the other muslim males are. Israel should find him and whatever they have done with the Israeli soldiers, Israel should do to him. Teach the filth a lesson.

Hot air. Nothing but hot air.

The Israelis are being smart about where and how they strike at Hezbollah and they’re ripping them apart. Olmert hasn’t declared a victory, but he has stated that the Israelis are slowly (and smartly) attacking Hezbollah and making their abilities to strike Israel harder and harder with each passing day. I truly believe him much more than I would ever believe the squawking parrot Nasrallah who presents himself more like another ‘Baghdad Bob’ than anything resembling human.

Aren’t these guys hilarious, when you think about it? I mean, sure they’re a barbaric breed of insane killers from the Middle Ages, but they can never admit defeat no matter what –they’re like the knight in Monty Python’s Holy Grail who’s been cut down to nothing but a torso claiming “It’s merely a flesh wound!”

Just imagine for a minute that they actually were able to militarize in some formidable fashion, stop hiding behind civilians like the cowards they truly are, and put up a fight whenever they’re rolled through by others. If they were any good at being bad, we’d have a whole lot more to worry about.

Still, I’m totally shocked that the free world is actually having problems with these imbeciles!!

Amazing…

"Israel should find him and whatever they have done with the Israeli soldiers, Israel should do to him."

He hides with the rest of the cowardly "pious muslim" blowhards - probably in iran or syria, but possibly in their respective embassies in Beirut or among the women and children in some school or hospital. He blindly trusts the Israelis to play by the rules of the civilized world and not level these places. I sincerely hope his trust is misplaced. When dealing with amoral vermin (and I would include the arab "street", the UN, and the Eurabian appeasers in that definition) the Israelis should be making up their own rules.

Who hasn't heard a threat this hollow, and this fearful before? Hezbollah's cowardly leader Nezrallah, undoubtedly speaking on video tape from either the safe Syrian confines or from Iran, the REAL paper tiger in this melee, threatens to bomb Tel Aviv, IF Israel bombs Beirut.
Who hasn't heard a threat this hollow, and recognized it as speaking out of fear of complete defeat?? I am reminded of Baghdad Bob here.

"During the speech, which was aired on al-Manar TV, Nasrallah discussed the 'importance' of ground battles by Hizbullah members against IDF units: "We are fighting against very heavy pressure and are fighting battles of heroism across the whole front." He added that his organization had many anti-tank weapons."
He is speaking of the valliant Lebanese women and children who gave up their lives involuntarily for the Media War the Hezbollah leadership must depend upon, to affect this battle for Civilazation.

to MaxInfidel33--who wrote:
“It’s merely a flesh wound!” by the knight in Monty Python's "Holy Grail" movie--

Let's all hope that the result is the same in the present situation, IF not worse, for them...
I though fear that the flesh wound will be just that, unless Israel, or US, or some combination thereof, takes matters into an indisputable, commanding superiority.

Yes! It's Baghdad Bob all over again. We need a name for him, how about Nasrablah?

Interesting little blurb ignored by mainstream media; it makes you wonder what is really going on. Looks like the Shia's are getting uppity:

"Saudi police break up pro-Hizbollah Shiite protest

Saudi police dispersed on Thursday a pro-Hizbollah protest in a city in the eastern region, which
is home to the kingdom's Shiite Muslim minority, witnesses said.

In the third such protest in less than a week in al-Qatif demonstrators brandished the yellow banner of the Iran-backed Lebanese guerrilla group and pictures of its leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and torched Israeli flags, they said. Interior Ministry officials could not be reached for comment. (Reuter)"

MNake our day, you ignorant barbarian!

His rocket will strike an empty field in Tel Avi.
That's how accurate it will be.

"Go ahead! Jerk that smoke wagon and see what happens!"

-- from the movie, "Tombstone."

With a threat like that, and understanding the importance of a prompt and visible dismissal of whatever Nasrallah says, I assume that the Israelis will now be bombing in Beirut more heavily than they have in recent days.

Hizbullah is much in the news these days. But for the life of me I cannot understand why the Western media and Western leaders – even intelligence agencies insist on translating Hizbullah as ‘The party of God’. That is not only a wrong translation but also is very misleading. Hizbullah means ‘The party of Allah “ and not ‘The party of God.’ There is a big difference. And in understanding that difference lies the key to understanding what we are dealing with.

I don’t know who comes up with these translations, but almost all translations provided in the West are wrong and misleading. For example “Allah-hu Akbar”, the war cry of the terrorists, is always translated as “God is Great”. If they say God is great, where is the problem?

But that is not what they are saying. “Allah-hu-Akbar” means “Allah is the GREATEST” (which clearly implies that all other Gods-the Hindu God, the Christian God, the Jewish God are all inferior and subservient to Allah) and therein lies the rub.

And let us not forget Kalma, the cornerstone of Islam, which says, “La ila Illilah-Muhammad Rasool –Illilah”—Translation-There is no God accept Allah and Muhammad is his prophet. There you have the whole story—There is no God accept Allah. There is not even a question of subservience. All other Gods should be wiped off, like Iran wants Israel to be wiped off the face of the earth.

What is in a name? A lot. If you cannot even pronounce the name of your enemy correctly or understand what the enemy is saying, how on earth are you going to be able to defeat that enemy?

Shortly after 9/11, an Indian journalist, who seemed shaken by the attacks on the twin towers, said to me, “If the U.S loses in the war on terrorism, it will be neither for want of resources, nor for want of resolve. If Americans lose, they will lose because they are ignorant and arrogant.”

That the U.S is a pre-eminent military power, no one questions. But there are chinks in Uncle Sam’s armor. And the biggest of those chinks is that America is involved in an area and with a people of which it has little understanding, and no skills to deal with. That is the reason for our not being able to succeed in Iraq in spite of our overwhelming military superiority.

Shortly after the subway bombings in London the British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, said something to the effect that only ten percent of Muslims were terrorists and the remaining ninety percent are ‘ peace-loving citizens like us’.

First of all, where did Tony Blair get that figure of 10 percent? Was a Gallop poll
Taken? Even if one was to accept the ten percent figure, which is not even a guesstimate, but a wishful guesstimate, how does it follow that ‘the remaining ninety percent are peace loving citizens like us?

Now that we are playing the guesstimate game, let me give you another probable guesstimate. Let us assume that it is true that only ten percent of Muslims are terrorists.
I would like to say that for every ten percent terrorists, there are at least twenty percent
who are actively supporting those ten percent by various means, such as providing them with arms and ammunition, or by providing them with shelter or by organizing fundraisers to provide the much-needed money for Jihad. Another twenty percent, who are neither terrorists nor actively supporting them, are cheering them from the sidelines.
We are already at fifty percent. And another thirty to forty percent, I dare say, are sympathizers, who may not be killing people or actively supporting the terrorists or not even being cheerleaders, but quietly sympathize with their cause. In fact in their hearts of hearts, they admire the terrorists as the true soldiers of Islam who have the courage to put their lives on the line for a cause in which the majority of Muslims believe. The rest of ten percent may be peace-loving citizens like us. So you see we have got the whole picture backwards. If we reverse the pyramid, we will see that only ten percent of Muslims are peace-loving citizens like us, the rest of 90 percent are Jihadis of one shade or another.

If we look at the pyramid this way, we may get a picture that is close to reality and not a fantasy. And it would provide the answer to many questions, such as the oft repeated question, where are the moderate Muslims? You cannot find them, because they don’t exist. They are a creation of our own imagination.

I could go on and on. But you get the idea.

May we soon see his face in the same manner we last saw that other hero of hell, Abu Musab al Zarqawi may his worm never die.

What a loser is Nasrallah to include a statement about Sharon? If Ariel can not speak, then I will speak for him. You picked the wrong Jew to mess with! Attack Jewish culture and attack the rest of the free world. We see the evil that men do, and we live after it.

I hear them crying like little girls. That's why they keep calling for "cease fire." Tehran and Damascus are in a panic, watching their baby Hizbuallah being taken out. It spoils all their world conquest Jihad plans. Ohh... too bad.

Keep going Olmert, your making us proud. Israeli troops and pilots are doing great.

I could spend hours telling of how many countries that have been freed by America, that have no respect for her. When she is gone, hold only your respect for licking boots of commitment. When she, and I are gone, watch your back cause no one will save you, aka France, Germany, and only about everyone else in free society. You too, Ireland. You all seem to want us gone, when we are, you are shit out of luck. What you think is free, cost my family deeply. It will cost me deeply, and what we that have balls are fighting for those that have none, should have grown some.

marco polo,
The real meaning of the muslim war cry will be seen as politically incorrect by those in the msm, because it will show the true colors of islam, their brutal hatred of all humans who are not one of them. The muslims love to use the word God in translations themselves to pull the wool over the eyes of their "supporters" or "converts-to-be"

Americans are tired of keeping freedom. Americans are tired of funding a revolution directed towards freedom. If you can not understand freedom, then we are at a loss. If Israel is the only one that respects freedom and virtue, solidarity and freedom of religion. Then we are at a loss. Let communism, maoism, islamism, and terrorism rain free!

l loved hearing about the IDF words to Noserallah on his Hizbollah TV program.. "your days are numbered" soon you will be gone... l sure hope he has a good will. bye bye Noserallah!

Sorry Hugh, and Fitzgerald, my peanut gallery has no effect.

Jewish American Soldier, has got to be the worst thing imaginable. What shall I do? Part Native American too, I guess I am damned to justice, equality, and persecution.

muslims, you only riot in your own lands, yell, scream, moan, groan and threaten about muslims being killed by infidels.

mulsims, if you do not like it, gather your forces and attack Israel head on and let the nation chosen by God win.

"Sorry Hugh, and Fitzgerald, my peanut gallery has no effect."

It's okay, zoomboomafoo, we hear you. I agree, not much help from outside. But we're the ones who started this whole idea of freedom, so the rest haven't quite caught on yet, though they well do enjoy its fruits. ;)

We fought tyranny many times before, not the first, and sure as hell not the last.

Yup. The Israelis have to start treating this as a real war, and not just an attempt to take out insurgents within a civilian population. It's sad to see kids in the crossfire, but that's what Hizballah and Islamism is all about -- indoctrinating whole populations with hate. This is a real war, not an anti-terror campaign.

I hope the Israeli's do really well.

David - you mentioned the army casualties; when you compare it to a couple of homicide bomber attacks it sure could be a lot worse.

BTW has anyone noticed how quickly the Qana "masacre" if off the news? All the MSM really fell for that one.

What has been going on since the cartoon fiasco was sorta predicted. I just didn't realise how quickly it would happen.

I haven't said much here for a few days but it is nice to be back among you guys:)

The other MSM stuff is enough to make one puke, and can one seriously believe it all?

Found this interesting piece on a blog.

Rice Signals Possible Lebanon Compromise
By BARRY SCHWEID, AP Diplomatic Writer

WASHINGTON - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice expressed support Thursday for an immediate cease-fire in Lebanon as the first phase in ending the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, in the most concrete signal yet that the U.S. may be willing to compromise on the stalemate over how to end the fighting.

Tell me it's not so, Joe!

Briars
she has "to look like she is doing something",lol!

If the Israeli's want to keep this up - they will. I don't think anything will stop them this time.
Land for peace didn't work. They are not going to fall for that old trick again!

Bravo Israel ! I wish you all the best. Only you have been wise to see the real enemy in Islam.

I hope the foolish Hindus (I am also a Hindu..sigh !) do take a leaf out of your book.

Pretty crass, that Nasrallah is given so much attention in the world media. It makes him far more legitimate than he his. Take the trash out and stop doing interviews with it.. !!!!

Hassan Nasrallah warns that if Israel warplanes strike Beirut once more, Hizballah will target Tel Aviv

Well Isreal continues to strike, and it time for ole Nasty to put up or shut up.

Hezbollah is losing, it is on the ropes. Isreal is not a nation to mess around with.
