Olmert to Eurodhimmis: stop preaching to Israel

"Olmert tells Europe to stop preaching to Israel," from Ynet News, with thanks to all who sent this in:

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told European leaders to stop preaching to him about civilian war casualties in an interview published on Sunday in German newspaper Welt am Sonntag. Olmert also said it would not be possible to completely destroy Hizbullah and insisted he did not underestimate them, saying they had fired just 3,000 of their arsenal of 15,000 rockets so far.

"Where do they get the right to preach to Israel?" Olmert said when asked about criticism from European capitals of Israeli military operations that have led to a heavy civilian toll.

"European countries attacked Kosovo and killed 10,000 civilians. Ten thousand! And none of these countries had to suffer before that from a single rocket.

"I'm not saying it was wrong to intervene in Kosovo. But please: Don't preach to us about the treatment of civilians."

Here, Here. Eurodhimmis need to shutup and get out of the way.

In other news the deadly rocket attack today in Haifa has been traced to Qana.So much for peaceful Qana where only the "innocent" live.

Does anyone honestly believe that if Islamofascists from Turkey, Bosnia, Albania, the suburbs of Paris or any other European Muslim enclave started raining missiles down on Vienna, Frankfurt, Holland or Brussels that the victims would respond with restraint? If this were to happen to a European country, you can bet the entire region from which the missles were fired would be wiped out and the press would not be critical. Only Israel is held to this ridiculous standard that civilian deaths are unacceptable in warfare.

European political capitals are make-up parlors filled with preening feminized men who would do the wrong thing out of the sanctimonious conviction that reality cannot possibly exist.

I'm no fan of Olmert, particularly when he says above that he's not 'saying it was wrong to intervene in Kosovo'. However, it's high time someone told the EU to STFU.

If Israel were to sever all diplomatic ties with the Eurodhimmi countries, it would reduce whatever clout they have in the region. After all, for all their pro-Islamic bravado, they have zero influence on any of the Arab regimes or terror organizations.

The smug outrage of the MSM does not in my discussion with many others reflect the logical understanding that Israel is fighting for its existence.

Anyone I meet who talks about proportionate response gets an ear-full as it is obvious they are only listening to the worthy self appointed supra media BBC, CNN et al and their Quisling crap.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and the people of Israel just do what you have to do for the security of YOUR country. Our thoughts are with you all.

There was lot's more in the interview to be read, but most certainly the fact that the journalist, Silke Mertins, used the end of the interview to throw a left hook, is worth reading (begins right at the point where Robert left off):

"Aber die Kritik aus Europa setzt auch die Vereinigten Staaten unter Druck, Israel zur Räson zu bringen.

Olmert: Amerika hat eine andere Einstellung. Sie kritisieren uns nicht. Ich wünschte, auch andere Staaten hätten den Mut von Präsident George W. Bush, die Wahrheit zu sagen."

In english:

But the criticism coming out of Europe puts pressure on the USA to bring Israel back to reason.

Olmert: America has a different viewpoint. The USA does not criticize us. I would wish that other countries would have Pres. George W. Bush's courage to speak the truth.

As if this journalist is in a position to teach us all a lesson about "reason". This is also a typical german tick that they have, to throw in a left punch somewhere in the interview.

In the same newspaper there was a column called "Heuchelei um Israel" ("Hypocrisy over Israel"). Here is the link:

I can provide a good translation on Tuesday. It is an excellent article.

I just heard Newt Gingrich and Joe Biden agree that the United States has "no good military options" against Iran. Makes you wonder about where that money goes doesn't it?

Perhaps we could hire some thugs, buy them plane tickets, and arm them with box-cutters. I'm convinced we'd be better off if Flight 93 wasn't brought down, but instead hit Congress while in session. A new Congress, after the crucible of dealing with the reality of a global jihad, would not spend so much time in useless partisan bickering and pessimistic theorizing. This Congress could have lost to Panama.

Amazing, here we are with Israel locked in a proxy war facing Iran and Syria. It's a great opportunity, now being squandered. Bush apparently lied when he said the U.S. would defend Israel. To destabilize the Iranian government might require air strikes on political leadership, military infrastructure, and the religious leadership. Without their major patron, Syria will back down or have to face Israel one-on-one.

Whack-a-Mole: destabilize crazies like Ahmadinejad who pop up in unfriendly regimes. Stability in the post-Cold War era is no longer a good thing necessarily.

Decapitation of religious leaders: not literally. It's time to recognize ayatollahs and imams are military commanders.

Symbolic targeting: Qom is one. Najaf is another. Mosques are not our friends.

The worst things we can do we're doing. Muslims who hate us always will. The protesters in supposedly "moderate Muslim nations" already hated the U.S. and Israel before Lebanon. Don't do anything to appease angry Arabs. Arab-Muslims respect strength. Quit acting like a second-rate power and use military force. Most importantly, quit treating Al-Sadr, domestic imams, or Khameinei with respect. Quite the opposite in fact.

There are very few truly moderate Arabs. The worst strategy, our favorite, is to try to appease the people they hate the most, the ones who cannot be appeased, cannot respect any non-Muslim. Our strategy seems predicated on making a "long war" longer. Because the dhimmi media shows us a few hundred angry Arabs people like David Gergen come out with ridiculous statements like "most Lebanese support Hizballah." Not many want to speak publicly against Hizballah when major powers act like media-savvy but strategy-impaired cowards. That's a certainty.

Oh, and while you're at it: "Stop preaching to your citizens as well, Europe, 'cause we simply can't stand you".

It seems to me like the Israelis have a tendency to talk in a direct, no-nonsense fashion, instead of speaking in politically correct terms without actually saying anything of value, or making very vague and neutral remarks. I like a direct approach to communication.

"I just heard Newt Gingrich and Joe Biden agree that the United States has "no good military options" against Iran.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++

So what then we just sit back and wait for Iran to nuke some folks, and THEN we can nuke them back ? The crowd who says we have work internally within Iran to help the disidents overthrow the Mullahs and rise up a 'moderate' government are quite mad, that should have done years and years ago, it's too late for that nonsense. And I often ponder the question wondering if Saddam was still in power what his reaction to his enemy Irans rattling the nuke card would have been ? Any thoughts on that anyone ?

Actually it was wrong to intervene in Kosovo but point well taken. I don't know about you guys but the Qana incident firmly put me behind Israel. All the doubts I had were squashed it was so obvious that hezbullah's(sorry spelling)main goal was to fire from spots that require a retatliation that will ensure the most civilian damage. It was sebrenica all over again. a publicity stunt. And after reading weeks of civilian deaths and indiscriminent bombing from Israel to find out only 600 civilians died in Lebanon the story did not add up. NOt saying I want more civilian deaths but its obvious what is going on. Olmert made an excellent point about the 10,000 civilian deaths in yugoslavia. And the difference is that the war criminal clinton and clark had ordered purely civilian targets such as the tv station and chinese embassy bombed.

"to find out only 600 civilians died in Lebanon"
-- from a posting above

No one knows how many civilians, or "civilians," died in Lebanon. The figures given out, or made up, by the Lebanese government mean nothing. If 600 people died, why are they all entitled to be called "civilians"? How many were adult males in Hezbollahland, either in southern Beirut or in the south? Since there is no outward and visible sign that indicates a fighter in Hezbollah, rather than someone who supports it to the hilt and wishes it well and would do anything to help it (which no doubt almost all of those "civilians" whose numbers are being toted up and accepted so credulously would be, for if they remain, given the great care of the Israelis to warn people repeatedly in advance, often days before there is to be an attack on local Hezbollah positions, they are likely in not all, but many cases, to be fanatical supporters of that terrorist group).

Where does the figure "600" come from? Shall we deduct from that the estimated 300-400 Hezbollah members whom the Israelis think they have killed, or add those Hezbollah numbers? No one knows for sure. One should accept nothing coming out of the Arab side as truth -- nothing.

Infidel Pride is obviously a Jihadi..........noone else could be quite so anti-Israel as to suggest snubbing its largest trading partner - the EU. Or the access to EU scientific research funding that Israel enjoys, plus its special access status to the EU - Spain would just love to shut Israel out of the citrus market. Then again, self-destruction is not an uncommon feature in the Middle East.

What European politicians say is not what they do. Speeches and communiques entertain the media-fed masses, they keep everyone excited and make elections colourful. The big problem in Europe is politicians tell lies and do not do what they pledge, so why get worked up about words.

The worst that politicians could do is to egg Israel on to feats it cannot perform, to over-reach itself and be defeated. More importantly, is to succeed in the goals that the IDF has before it.

Not a single country in Europe was supportive of Great Britain in 1940, even Ireland was refuelling German U-Boats. Churchill's words were "Of course, whatever happens at Dunkirk, we shall fight on." That was before they rescued 330.000 soldiers from France and had to buy WWI rifles from the US having lost all their equipment.

Israel has equipmentm, it has troops, and it has US, German, British support and no doubt a few Arab countries too. So why squeal about politicians "mood music" ?

voyager are you sure your not a jihadi?
In fact its Jihadist. Jihadi is what I expect a pakistani immigrant to call a jihadist

someone finally had to say it the way it is, nobody got the balls, so again, the israelis are doing it!

Olmert's real test of anti-dhimmitude will be after Lebanon, when we see if he backs off from the dhimmitude par excellence plan of evacuating Judea and Samaria.

At least the Israeli Right now has a strong talking point against that: "Evacuation of Judea and Samaria - Kassams on Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv".

Real sure............

Olmert would probably do better conclusively disposing of the proportionality argument, which seems to be basis of most European objections. The Israelis should also do more to question the various photo doctoring and incident stage managing tricks being used by Hezbollah and its supporters. At the moment they appear mainly to be leaving it to bloggers.

"European countries attacked Kosovo and killed 10,000 civilians."

As much as I admire Olmert for having the guts to act when times demand action, someone should remind him that the only reason why Kosovo was bombed was because of Clinton and Albright (and Lewinski's dress stains).

Europe doesn't have the political unity to make a blind man sing, let alone bomb a country. Nato bombed Kosovo. Nato includes several European countries (including my own which stupidly sent some of our 24 operational F16s for patrol work), but most of the bombing was done by American fighter-bombers for the simple reason that most of Europe (except for Britain, France maybe Germany and Italy) doesn't have the airpower to make a blind man sing.

Sorry, Olmert. You won't hear the slightest criticism from me for getting rid of Hizballah and protecting your country, but if you want to put the blame on someone for Kosovo, place it on Clinton and on the cover-up of his breeding instincts that ended up costing the lives of 10,000 people and the ethnic cleansing of the Serb minority in Kosovo.

This is the truth. Accept it, deny it, but it will still be the truth.

Well said, Cruzador.

When I read of NATO's alliance with mujahideen in their "Operation-let's-kill-an-infidel" bombing campaign in Serbia, my thoughts always turn to Milica Rakic

Let me guess - you're new here?

Given not just the political 'mood-music' of European politics, but the fact that they have obviously chosen sides, not just here, but have largely been pro-Islamic to the point that anti-Semitism (of the Jewish, not Arab type) is on the ascent, EU's trading partner status doesn't mean much. Let Israel pick the European countries that are less hostile to it, such as Bulgaria, but avoid countries like France and even Britain.

"I'm not saying it was wrong to intervene in Kosovo. But please: Don't preach to us about the treatment of civilians."

Lets see how wrong it was not to 'intervene' in the Serbian province, when by the end of this year, Europe shall have a failed Islamic republic called Kosovo right on its doorstep. I wonder how many Mujahideen fighters this new 'country' is going to churn out each year to come and attack us in Europe. How easy it will be for them. After all, what economy does this province have? Maybe that's why Olmert says it was not wrong to intervene in Kosovo, because he wants Europe to get a taste of its own medicine and to have to endure the same kind of threats that Israel has to face up to on their doorstep. Another monster created out of western Dhimmi stupidity.
