ZAMBOANGA CITY, 13 August 2006 — Seven people were reported killed yesterday as security forces fought with suspected Abu Sayyaf militants in a failed bid to rescue two hostages in the southern island of Jolo.Military commanders said the dead included businesswoman Jacky Selvin, 58, and her son Jeffrey Selvin, 27, who were snatched from downtown Jolo on July 27.
Four kidnappers and one police officer were also killed in the ensuing gunbattle in the island’s town of Indanan, where troops were battling the terrorist group tied to the Indonesian Jemaah Islamiya network, officials said.
Brig. Gen. Ben Dolorfino, deputy commander of military’s Southern Command based in Zamboanga City, said security forces attempted to rescue the woman after local residents found the son’s severed head in front of the police headquarters in downtown Jolo early yesterday.
Dolorfino said the soldiers did rescue the woman but she died later from a stab wound.
A local radio reported that a headless corpse believed to be that of Jeffery was later found in the town of Patikul town, also in Jolo Island....
In August 2002, the Abu Sayyaf also beheaded two male members of a Jehovah’s Witness, a Christian sect, two days after militants kidnapped them and four other women in Jolo.
Their severed heads were found inside plastic bags containing notes calling for “jihad against infidel and non-believers of Islam” in the main market in Jolo town. Their relatives said the six were not on Jolo to proselytize the island’s Muslim population, but only selling cosmetics and herbal teas to supplement their income.
But if only Israel freed from prison such people as Kuntar, who killed a man and smashed his four-year-old daughter's head against a rock (did he do that after, or before, he killed the father) and then the mother, frantically hiding from him, and trying to stifle the cries of her baby, accidentally smothered that baby to death -- it is this person, not executed by the Israelis (what does that tell us about Israel?) but merely sentenced to imprisonment, who is among those whose "liberation" is demanded by Hezbollah, and by its leader, the Nazi Nasrallah (there is noting Nasrallah has expressed about Jews, or about the divine right of his own cult, Islam, and of the Believers to rule, that is not completely in harmony with the views expressed by Adolf Hitler). Yes, free Kuntar, and those other innocents held so cruelly by cruel Israel. And give Hezbollah what it wants in the north, and what Hamas wants in the south.
And that should do it. That should end any bombings in Mumbai or Bali, any attacks in Madrid or London, in New York or Washington, in Beslan or Moscow. That should end the "humiliation" and the "rage" felt by Muslmis in Denmark and in Holland, and yesterday in Washington, and in San Francisco, as they paraded on behalf of Nazism, in its Islamic incarnation.
And of course, Israel's surrenders, Israel's disappearance, would end forever -- would it not--any need or desire by members of As Sayyaf to decapitate Christian prisoners in the Philippines.
I think the poster was merely choosing a dramatic way to make the point that, despite all the lies we're fed by the Islamintern in the West, these beheadings were not a random act but "holy" ones from the bestial Koranic viewpoint.

I don't use it anymore. A lot of Jews don't either. Because, now, every time an Islamic attack happens to non-Jews, it only feeds the appeasement mania of the Leftists and Eurodhimmis.
I've called it the war between Islam and the West. Unfortunately, the West isn't united in this war: it's split between those who view every Islamic attack as proof of Islam's striving for world domination, which must be quelled by forceful action, and those who view every Islamic attack as proof of the West's error of alienating those "innocent" Muslims through "colonialist, imperialist" actions, which must be corrected by appeasement, by concessions of all kinds.
The former faction is comprised mostly of Christian Bible-believers, as well as a few secularists who realize it's better to support a nation of "Jewish fanatics" who want, at most, a chunk of land in the Middle East, than millions of Muslims whose hunger only the whole world will sate. The latter faction consists of most of the Left (Marxists, postmodern academics, Sixties hippies who haven't grown up), a lot of secularists, and liberal religionists.
I asked a Philippino priest just last night at a wedding reception what he thought the percentage of his population was Muslim.... one in ten, he replied. And then he said that seemed to be quite troubling to him because 10% appeared to be the "flashpoint" where horrible, inhumane acts occurred from the RoP. It seems that he is correct.
