Whitewashing the jihad

In "White washing Islamists" in today's Washington Times, Joel Mowbray asks some questions that need to be asked:

Hiding behind potted plants, Naveed Haq laid in wait for a 14-year-old girl he could use as a hostage. With a gun in her back, he pushed his way past security and through the door. He coldly, deliberately shot six women. When a wounded Pamela Waechter tried to flee up some stairs, he followed her, leaned over a railing and killed her.

Are these the actions of a crazy person?

A crazy person might cause harm to himself, maybe even someone close to him. Mr. Haq, though, did not know anyone at the Seattle Jewish Federation. He traveled some distance late last month from central Washington, getting there after determining his target following an Internet search for "something Jewish."

That wasn't all of his planning. Because of Washington law, Mr. Haq waited to purchase his two semiautomatic handguns, picking them up one day earlier.

Premeditation is the antithesis of crazy. So why is it that the mainstream media has either ignored or played down this story? The New York Times has written only one story. Ditto for The Washington Post. Both papers buried what little coverage they did offer on page 22 and page 13, respectively.

Most of those outlets that publicized the shootings have focused on Mr. Haq's history of mental illness, the most serious of which was bipolar disorder. Great attention has been paid to his apparently having acted alone. And some have reported that sometime last year, the accused murderer was a practicing Christian.

In other words, media outlets have spent fantastic energy exploring every possibility -- except the obvious one. Moments after spraying bullets across the offices of the Jewish Federation, he announced, "I'm a Muslim-American; I'm angry at Israel." So while Mr. Haq's short-lived apparent conversion to Christianity might be interesting, it neither inspired the murderous rampage nor serves as evidence that something in his Islamic environment did not.

Where is the investigation into what messages Mr. Haq heard in his hometown mosque, which was founded by his father? Or how about a look at the culture and attitudes of his hometown Muslim community?

Read it all.

Naveed Afzal Haq is the muslim perp.

His father is a founding member of the Tri City mosque in Richland in Washington State.

Is it true or just apocryphal that Haq had just visited a mosque before his abomination and had also, in preparation, shaved his whole body as a suicide bomber would do before death ?

Ronny Reagan would say "Tear down this mosque"

The mosque should be subject to a show cause why it should not be torn down.

At the least it should be a Defendant in a civil action and made to pay enough damages to put it out of existence.

Of course the media who gets millions from Saudi prince al Waleed won't dare speculate on whether he could have simply PRETENDED to become a Christian to throw them off the scent? After all, that's not something a crazy man would do. That takes cunning, planning, schemeing, dishonesty, PREMEDITATION and proves intent, like hunting for a target on the internet. Mohammed (pigs be upon him) did say that "War is deceit" didn't he?
And make no mistake, we are at war.

What they want
By Oliver North
August 6, 2006

"What do they want?" It's a query we hear a lot these days. By "they," of course, the questioner means the suicide bombers, the masked men in the video-tape decapitating a hostage, the goose-stepping, black-clad legions parading with AK-47s. "They" call themselves Hamas, al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, the Muslim Brotherhood, Jamaat-Islamiyah, the Mahdi Army or any of a dozen other names for violent terror groups operating with impunity around the world.
Five years ago next month "they" were al Qaeda -- thrust onto center stage aboard four aircraft turned into deadly missiles. This spring, "they" were Hamas terrorists firing lethal Qassam rockets from Gaza into neighborhoods in southern Israel. This week, it's Hezbollah -- the Iranian-armed and directed movement in Lebanon that ignited the current round of violence in the Middle East.
Some of the "theys" are Sunni Muslim. Others are Shi'ites. In most of the world they are theological adversaries -- with a long sanguinary history of fratricide far bloodier than anything experienced in the Christian schism between Catholics and Protestants. In nearly every case, "they" have foundations in a local grievance, recruit followers by emphasizing perceived wrongs and have charismatic leaders who promote "martyrdom" as a means of making things right.
Regardless of origin -- Sunni or Shi'ite --? "they" share critical common ground. They all despise Judeo-Christian values, institutions and individuals and are committed to "ridding" Islamic lands of Western "occupation." They are all "nonstate" entities -- claiming independence of any government -- but rely on support from radical Islamic entities awash in petro-dollars.
All carry out attacks with ruthless brutality without regard for their victims. All regard Israel and America as abominations, share the aim of "liberating" Jerusalem and envision a "Caliphate" extending from Casablanca in west Africa east to Indonesia. This is "what they want."
Unfortunately, in this era of shallow, "sound-bite" journalism and drive-by "action" coverage, these objectives -- routinely specified in the writings, speeches and "sermons" of radical Islamic political leaders and clerics -- are widely ignored by the masters of our mainstream media or dismissed as the ranting of fanatics with few followers. The consequence is a woefully uninformed public -- and an electorate so ignorant of reality that Western political leaders can promote simplistic solutions like this week's calls for an "immediate cease-fire," "intensive diplomacy," and the introduction of an "international peacekeeping force" leading to "a negotiated end to the strife."
This theme, repeated in today's newspapers, magazines, "newscasts," and political stump speeches, is a minor variation on the kind of thinking that succeeded so brilliantly with Adolf Hitler. He too had written and spoken widely of his aspirations for global domination and ethnic cleansing. Yet, even after he had rearmed and commenced fulfilling his twisted dreams of "purification" and expansion, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain was able to proclaim "Peace for our time," after returning from Munich in September 1938. Less than a year later, the Fuehrer plunged the world into a global conflagration. The willful ignorance of weak-willed democratic leaders bent on appeasing evil did not spare their populations then -- nor will it today.
Those leading the call for the Israelis to "cease their aggression in Lebanon" and "start immediate talks leading to a broader Middle East peace" -- all part of today's lexicon -- need a healthy dose of reality. There is no "Middle East peace" to keep.
Here at home, Sen. Richard Durbin, Illinois Democrat, Rep. Dennis Kucinich, Ohio Democrat, and others in the "cut and run from Iraq" crowd in the U.S. Congress are urging that the United States "rein Israel in" -- force them to "stop the shooting" by cutting off deliveries of fuel, ordnance and spare parts for the U.S.-made weapons and equipment used by the Israel Defense Forces. They claim doing so will make it possible for the immediate introduction of a U.N.-sponsored peacekeeping force.
Though this course would indeed bring about a short-term cessation of hostilities, it is nonsense. U.N. "peacekeepers" have failed miserably at keeping peace, or preventing radical Islamic terrorists from recruiting, training or firing rockets into Israel from U.N.-run refugee camps. Though a strong, well-armed, competently led multinational intervention force will be essential in Lebanon, deploying such a corps will take weeks, not days.
In Washington, London, Paris, Rome and moderate Islamic capitals, there is a desperate need to see the crisis in Lebanon for what it is -- the latest battle in the Global War on Islamo-Nazi terror. Sheik Hassan Nasrallah -- the Iranian-puppet who heads Hezbollah -- has ambitions to become the dominant political force in Lebanon and establishing Beirut as another capital in a Shi'ite-dominated caliphate -- but ultimately dances to Tehran's tune.
Stopping the Israelis from destroying Hezbollah's military capability in the short term will significantly endanger the troops in a multinational intervention force. Destruction of the U.S. Marine and French paratrooper barracks in Beirut in October 1983 should have taught us that much.
Worse, if Hezbollah -- and their Iranian Pasdaran allies -- are allowed to retain their arms and bases in the Bakaa Valley, it will lead to far greater bloodshed for the Israelis, Lebanese and Americans in the future if Iran gets nuclear weapons.

Is America's security what it is by Policing Acts or Policing Emotions?

The media will not face the truth, i.e. the Invasion of the Body Snatchers has began.

It is that weird...

Should'nt this thread be in the dhimmi section? GGGRRRR!

Knighthawk, you might worship or adore Ollie North, but I heard him on his show on Fox last week and he stated that Islamofascists are only a small minority of Muslims and that Muslims are mainly good people or some tripe to that extent. In fact that has been a refrain echoed by every talking head and pundit on Faux News, MSNBC and CNN (cable news, contratempts the lies of that woman with an Adams apple (Ann Coulter) are establishmentarian, meaning "conservative" and supportive of the official line that emanates from their major advertisers, those who pay the bills, which happen to be corporations, those people who run, own, manage the military industrial petrochemical complex, the pharmaceutical business, investment banking and the stock market.

The essay by Oliver North supplied by the poster KnightHawk above makes one wonder, why is it that a virulently right-wing person like North so readily "gets it"? My answer is that the Right contains more rationality and resistance to PC multiculturalism than does Leftism. Note to sophomores: I said "more", I did not say the Right is perfect.

Nariz,
Ollie North is not my ally, friend or business partner. Nor do I adore or worship him!

The teachings of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus; via Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are the only truth I need.

Ollie's article was very well written and brings a unique perspective given his involvement in Iran-Contra. KnightHawk

He converts to christianism like a taquiya strategy, it seems things like that.

Journalists are fear-struck by terror.

The terrorist musts have forewarned journalists that they would killed if they say what the terrorist hate to hear.

Most Journalists have submitted to the fear. That's what we called Islam. Islam in Arabic means "submit"--of course with lots and lots of fear, if necessary, lift up the skirt for Allah to fondle.

That wasn't all of his planning. Because of Washington law, Mr. Haq waited to purchase his two semiautomatic handguns, picking them up one day earlier.

If being muslim isn't enough to prevent a person from buying a pistol, it should be.

I am becoming cynical re the motives of some who wish to perfume the smell that comes from Haq and his unseen collaborators. I don't think the "sensitive" attitude toward Haq and his unseen collaborators is all about (or even mostly about) a fear that non-muslims will become vigilantes if the truth is presented to the American people.

Haq should not only be charged and tried for murder by Seattle, he and any of his collaborators should be charged and tried for the violation of the civil rights of the woman killed, the women wounded, and for violating the civil rights of all members of the Jewish Center. A U.S. Justice Dept. prosecution (in addition to trial for murder in Seattle) would do a lot to end Haq-style-Jihadist behavior, the incitement to Jihad, and would encourage Muslims who wish an end to those behaviors to become more vocal on the matter.

That is why some (CAIR types, collectivist leftists, fascists, etc.) don't want full disclosure or a hard legal line taken re Haq. A full disclosure and a hard legal line taken re Haq might end such behavior.

It's not all about sensitivity or PC on this matter. Some leftists, fascists and some Muslims, each for their own reasons, want more Haqs.

Final thought: A US Justice Dept. involvement would entail an FBI investigation re Haq and any collaborators (I think this guy was incited to this atrocity). This is a civil rights case, and probably involves a conspiracy to violate the civil rights of the woman killed, the wounded, and all the people at the Jewish center.

The obvious direct connection between Haq's behavior and the fact that his victims are Jewish is much stronger than the civil rights prosecution of the officers in the Rodney King case. The officers in the King case may have used racial epithets, but the real reason they beat him was because they were out-of-control-pissed-off at Rodney King for resisting arrest after a high speed chase of him.

I think the Justice Dept. should be asked to investigate Haq for a possible violation of the civil rights of the people at the center. My bet-the Feds would find that the Haq case is not just about Haq.

"I'm a Muslim-American; I'm angry at Israel."

.. but, America supports Israel. So, if he is an American, why would he be "angry at Israel"? Besides, if he is angry at Israel, why is he in America, which supports Israel? The fact is, in his mind and heart, Haq is a Muslim and Muslim only, belonging to and only to Umma Al-Islamia. And this applies to all so called "Muslim-Americans".

"I'm a Muslim-American; I'm angry at Israel."

Only Muslims are "persons" in the mind of Haq, and the media endorse that by their silence. This rampage goes to the very heart of what our society means by civil rights. The Jewish people at that center and all non-muslims are in danger unless this is viewed as a civil rights case.

If ever a case cried out for the Justice Dept. to enter it as a civil rights case, it is the Haq case. This Haq viewed the Jews at that center as non persons because they are Jewish.

The lives of Haq's victims were merely props to Haq, and the killing of the people at the center was merely a religious-political statement in the mind of Haq. Civil rights is about the general society protecting individual persons because they are persons. The people Haq shot were treated as non-human objects by Haq. He violated the human rights, the civil rights of the people at that center.

Are we really serious about civil rights?

In American criminal trials, before a murderer is sentenced, the law permits his unhappy childhood and other "mitigating" factors affecting his behaviour, including mental illness, to be taken into account. The fact that the victim had nothing to do with that presumptively unhappy childhood and other factors is ignored.

This suits the robots of islam perfectly, as they can justifiably and automatically claim mental illness by the fact of their being muslims. The law must start caring more about the rights of the victims, if the American justice system is not to be reduced to a farce by this new vicious parasite that seeks to destroy it from within.

And Rowane, Islam is NOT a religion. It is a Cult of Bandits from the Hijaj in southern Arabia. Mohamed was a petty and cowardly caravan looter who latched on to the big time idea of motivating his band of thugs by telling them that it was OK to murder and rape, it was OK to lie and deceive, it was OK to commit any crime in the world, as long as they prayed five times daily and believed in his being the messenger of god. Thugs around the world have loved this incentive of doing all their crimes in the name of god, ever since. Even in a non-muslim country, the number of muslim criminals is ALWAYS and usually significantly higher, in proportion to their population.

This Humanity Hating Cult of Insanity must be destroyed. And the Sooner this is done, the Better.
