So Christians are almost 2 - 1 against Muslims. There have been over 5000 documented terror attacks in the name of Islam since 911, and precisely 0 terrorist attacks by Christians anywhere in that same period. Yeah the argument is compelling those pesky Christians are wreaking havoc all over the world, if only they would look to Islam for an answer everything would be better.

I'm astounded by these comparisons, if there was any validity to this argument, Christians would be somewhere visible as making these types of attacks. Serbs have good reason to suicide bomb their enemies, but they don't. Greek Cypriots have good reason to suicide bomb or carry out terror attacks, but they don't. Any Orthodox Christian would be justified under current ideology to suicide bomb, or commit terror attacks as their holy shrine the Agia Sophia is still under infidel Islamic control, but again they don't.

The reason they don't do it you ask? Simple because they are Christian and that is completely against their belief system. I believe Robert or Hugh posted last year on Filipino Muslim converts not willing to carry out suicide attacks, why? Because deep rooted Christian upbringing must be telling them this cannot be right.

Unfortunately for us all, these dimwitted twits who make these comparisons are the ones the majority seem to listen to.

Hey guys I've said this so many times I'm tired of it.

The western powers U.S. and Britain in particular have chosen the wrong side in almost every conflict. I can't help but look at the Kosovo mess, and Bosnia. These are done completely with the help of the west, and have achieved only one thing, the strengthening of Islam in Europe. The U.S. continues to give aid on a grand scale to Turkey and still is pushing for Turkey's admission into the EU. Military aid still flows into Egypt, Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Can you honestly think of any worse countries on earth to support?

This has been happening for as long as I can remember, and the western powers are the ones responsible for allowing this menace to grow to what it has become.

England unfortunately seems to have taken its dhimmitude to the next level, and from an outsiders point of view it looks as if England is doing everything in her power to submit.

Take heart. Sure, the MSM listens to the hollow accusations, but the general public sees the truth, I think. Everywhere in the world Islam is becoming looked upon less favorably (except, of course, in those countries which are held down by Islamic dictators) and the blatant lies the Muslims spout are becoming more of a joke, than anything else. There was a time when people didn’t laugh at ‘Religion of Peace’ but now it’s laughable to the extreme.

Be thankful for one thing: whenever you hear that some brain-dead Muslim has blown himself up somewhere in Iraq, he often takes a whole bunch of Muslims with him. There may be a few infidels that go along for the ride, but they’re better at killing each other than we could ever imagine doing ourselves.

Personally, I think we should convert the suicide hotline into our own weapon and get a few people who have had enough of this world to strap some bombs to themselves and run off to Iran and a few other choice places around the globe. Should the day ever come when Muslims outnumber the Christians and Jews, you may see some reaction of that sort.

I'm not a George Bush fan, but I'm always blown away by how people think all ills are created by Christians here. Even when you point out that terrorists everywhere are quoting the Quran while committing their acts, and no where is the President or anyone else for that matter saying anything about the bible here. But somehow no matter what I say or show to people here, I'm a bigot, who has it all wrong.

It reminds me of how Lord Byron took advantage of the Greeks under Ottoman rule and stole enormous amounts of priceless antiquities by paying the occupiers a fee.

Jump to the future and the Brits are still involved with exploiting Greek misfortune for their own benefit.

I guess this is one very good example of why Britain is so stoked on helping Turkey enter the EU. I think you have the wrong Lord. Lord Byron is a National hero in Greece with statues and streets named for him all over the country. He was a major supporter the Greeks in their War of Independence.

You are thinking of Lord Elgin, he is the one who bought the statues. Incidently by buying them when he did he prevented the local Greeks burning them to make mortar and fertiliser.

Fred you are right it was Lord Elgin who bought them, however I do not believe for a second the excuses currently given by the British gov't on preserving these relics.
