A number of European states are refusing to allow El Al cargo planes carrying Israel Defense Forces equipment from stopover landings in their airports.The refusal came from states considered friendly with Israel, including Britain, Germany and Italy, according to Captain Etai Regev, the chairman of El Al's pilots' union.
Regev sent a letter of complaint on the matter to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and to the Defense Ministry, the Finance Ministry, and the Tourism Ministry.
According to Regev, El Al flights bearing heavy loads that arrive from U.S. bases "are not given approval by European states to make stopover landings for refueling, for political reasons."As a result, cargo planes are taking off from the U.S. with much lighter weight, and are reaching Israel with significantly fewer munitions than needed."
Regev called this "a substantial blow to state defense."
it's obvious that our diplomatic relations with these EU member states are not worth very much. So we could pressure them in return by making it more difficult to aid their PLO Arab pets in the "palestinian authority" and by refusing to see them taking part in the UN's Lebanon force.
I wouldn't call them Eurodhimmis.

This comes as no surprise. Just last summer I was among the unfortunate ones singled out for extra scrutiny at Shannon Airport in Ireland. At first, the attendant apologized for the inconvenience. I quickly responded that I did not mind at all, and that we all need to be much more vigilant considering the enormity of the threat we face. To which she promptly replied: "We shouldn't need to worry about terrorists here. The problem is all your planes that stop here to refuel. We're supposed to be neutral!"
Reading things like this leads me to believe that you get what you deserve. The EU deserves to lose a couple of countries during the global jihad at the very least. I have a feeling they will...

Europe denies barring El Al landings.
I am aghast. I voted for Merkel - hoping our foreign policy would improve. It seemed to do so. But this decision is a crying shame. I'm so dissapointed.
But though the word "Eurodhimmis" often is adequate, I don't think that this is an act of dhimmitude. Unfortunately this is what Europeans want to be themselves: Neutral. Or : Spineless and proud of it.

I was attacked of being "as fanatic as the terrorists" when I wrote these lines in a German forums ( I knew it would be considered a provocation - that's why I did it). The 'Euro-religion' teaches that there is no good and no evil side and that those, who are differently minded, are hateful warmongers - the only evil people being all those who fight and the only good people being those who do not support any fighting side (and the poor poor Muslim civilians of course, they are good people as well). This attitude seems to be mainstream.
Israel and the USA should not rely on Eurabia. I feel so sorry to have to say that.
The very states which forbid Israeli self defence weapons are those that allow fund raising for Hamas and Hezbollah.
If we don't fight Islam in the deserts of Southern Lebanon we will be fighting it on the banks of the Thames, believe me. We will win but at a greater cost. Those who could have assisted Israel should be reminded at a later date when the balloon goes up, I am sure there will be sympathetic lampposts for the dhimmis.

At this rate, the only solution will be to have El Al cargo planes refuel in mid-air by USAF tanker jets based in Europe (if this is technically feasible).
Threaten to cut off imports of euro autos and aircraft, and wine, and then we'll see.
Use our leverage while we still have it.
This article, and the one in the Jerusalem Post, is not the entire truth - about the British stance anyway. Special cargo planes (i.e. those carrying munitions and anything that could be useful to moslem terrorists) are refuelled at RAF airfields not at civilian airports because security is tighter at military fields.
Some El Al pilots have complained about this because they have had to learn new airport layouts and new protocols in order to deal with the closed-to-civilian-flights airspace (restricted airspace, the UK calls it) around the RAF 'fields.
Separating munitions and weapons flights from civilian flights and airports strikes me as a good idea at the present time, but it does not mean that the UK is denying refuelling rights to such aeroplanes.
Were the United States to insist that its natural and most valuable ally, in the Middle East, should be made a member of NATO, or if not formally a member, then to announce that it will enter into a bilateral agreement with Israel essentially forging an alliance similar to that of NATO (is Belgium, is Spain, a more effective opponent of Jihad than Israel, for so long the lightning-rod and deflecter of Arab Muslim energies, until the OPEC money and Muslim immigrants in the West increased the power, and expanded the goals, of those engaged in violent Jihad), and that, furthermore, other members of NATO were invited to join such an alliance. If however, a NATO member chose neither to join this new alliance, nor to extend to Israel the kind of support it deserves from fellow members of what was once the Western alliance, then the American government would cut off from access not only to the technological fruits of American-Israeli military coopeation, but even to the latest military advances by the Americans alone. There is, after all, some concern about Muslim penetration of the armed forces and security services in Western Europe, a concern that will only grow. There is no such concern about the armed forces and security services of Israel.

Sure there is. So is a lot of airport-personnel all over Europe, especially France & Germany.

I foresee these events in Europe:
1. Black-Red Alliance in most western Europe with Sweden, the Netherlands, France being the first countries to have such an Alliance
2. The black-Red Alliance slowly starts to pressure Europe to witdraw all relations with Israel
3. The Trans-atlantic rift gets even larger; NATO starts to fall apart
4. Anti-American, ISrael attacks increase; Europeans make certain deals to prevent attacks on themselves
5. NATO dissolves as Europe breaks all ties with Israel
Change is good in some cases. Regime change in Frankistan will clear the mauvais aère as some might adroitly put it.

I hate to say this, coming from the UK as well but the imposition of visas and quotas coming from the UK to the US may just bring the village idiots in Whitehall to their senses but i am somehow doubtful.
This would send a clear message that if the UK has allowed the country to be used as a hotbed for Islamist terrorism, a sort of Waziristan-on-sea, it should be expected that the US has an obligation to look after their own people.
