I agree - I believe in the pan anti-Islam unity. Also, like I noted in another post, Crusades are an inner struggle. I'm undergoing one right now, even though I'm not Christian. Something one has to do after a heavy lunch.

Any non Muslim regardless of religion or lack thereof should be welcomed in the war against this scourge. Muslims who truly disapprove of their violent co-cultists should merely step aside. Once the job is finished then you can finally clean up Islam (if it's even possible) and join the rest of us in the 21st century.

In all the accounts I have read, no one actually quoted the Pope's comments. They were probably pretty mild.
The Israeli flag in that photo looks hand-made, with a magic marker or whatever. Islamic/Fascist/Protesters/Rioters should realize that a hand made flag is not a real flag, but merely a translation of an interpretation of a flag and will not cause Israelis to become upset. A Muslim is allowed to touch a translation of an Israeli flag.

How else could Mohammed hope to convince the pagan Arabs of the Hejaz of Islam's superiority over all other faiths than by denegrating the pre-existing monotheistic faith of the region. Now, transpose that mentality to the 21st century and imagine how it must roil them to look at tiny Israel's accomplishments in all aspects of life -- a progressive society, at the forefront of scientific development and the humanities as well, without a drop of petroleum to fund this progress versus the despotic Arab and Muslim feudalist societies that surround the Jewish state.
