Mahathir's on a roll. From the Daily Times: "Muslims should have nukes"
ISLAMABAD: Muslim nations in the Middle East should arm themselves with nuclear weapons to deter Western enemies from attacking them, former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said Friday.
"They should have tanks, warplanes, warships, guns and missiles," Mahathir said. "Yes, they need to have nuclear weapons too, because only with the possession of such would their enemies be deterred from attacking them."
Mahathir, 81, who retired as prime minister in 2003, remains highly respected and influential throughout the Muslim world. He is currently on a lecture tour of Central and South Asia, and was addressing a conference on religious tolerance in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad.

When asked whether Muslim nations in the Middle East should acquire nuclear weapons, Mahathir replied, "Well, if you allow Israel to have them, why should the others not have them too?" Israel -- which has neither confirmed nor denied reports that it possesses nuclear arms -- is generally believed to have the world’s sixth-largest stockpile of such weapons, including hundreds of warheads.
Mahathir, a frequent critic of the Jewish state and its nuclear arsenal, stressed that he believed in a world free of nuclear weapons.

"While I think we should not be selective in determining which nations should have, and should not have, I think the best thing we could do is to say is that all nations should not have nuclear weapons and in particular this very, very, very belligerent United States," Mahathir said.

He said that the US-led war against terrorism had turned into a war against Islam and Muslims, because only countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and Syria were currently being targeted.
Well, it's just that there hasn't been much state-sponsored terrorist activity being directed at the United States and its allies from, say, Bhutan.

I would definitely keep nukes out of the hands of Andorra and Liechtenstein, or for sure Luxembourg, to avoid state sponsored terrorism turning into world Jihad. Looking for terrorists in all the wrong places, perhaps? How about Muslim Jihad terrorists in Muslim Islamic countries? That seems oddly plausible. Or should we ignore those, listen to and believe their never ending bellyaching takiyya, and take them good for their word, though they never keep it? Would you trust such states with nukes? I'd rather have them in the hands of "very, very, very" belligerent United States that understands its responsibilities, then giving it to those desert caravan raiding raping yahoos. I hope they don't feel offended, of course, nor feel that compellingly irresistible urge to riot. Or just go home and beat your women over nuclear issues.

Mahathir believes developing nuclear weapons is the best way to prevent the belligerent United States from invading.
A better way to prevent a US invasion is to not suicide bomb US civilian targets, or support those who do. Is that too much to ask?

I'm starting to despise Asia. I think it may be time for America to begin acting the way they all accuse us of... like a true brutal Hegemon in Asia -- they already treat us like we are, after all. And we might as well start benefitting from the 'relationship'. Let's start demanding tribute. Let's start emptying their treasuries and siphoning off their wealth, rather than helping them accumulate it. They aren't doing anything good with it, and only harming us with it.

Muslims will say that This statement needs to be modified to "Nuclear weapons are not needed to be developed by Muslims".
Muslims should note that they have not needed to develop anything really....yet they still have many of these sophisticated weapons.
These sophisticated weapons need to be maintained, repaired and even need specialists to fire them. While jihadists have some specialists they don't have many and rely on greedy/polluted/converted kafur to train them.
Poor Muslim countries must not waste their precious resources to develop nucleur weapons.
By following the example of the past and relying on the best time tested advice of "Allah provides all to those who wait".
To my mind (you listening fedup) Islam will form majorities in Europe...and muslims will form governments in Europe.
The richer Kafur will in desperation move from UK, France, Germany etc. to where they can..i.e. the Amerekie, Australia, borneo, the moon etc.
As always moderate muslims will start ruling, by working hard for the ecomomy of the country, but laws and constitutions will start to change. After all the majority muslims will ask "why pander to the whims of the catholic minority?"

1) A new parallel banking (islamic)system will be introduced allowing the old one to erode.
2) A new tax system (also changing inheritence laws) to include jizya under certain circumstances.
3) A new set of hygine on foods...in line with which animals and the way animals are killed and consumed.
4) The banning of pigs at farms, the banning of keeping cats and dogs as pets.
5) New mosques and architecture in line with Islamic art. No moneies to be spent on "Worthless" buildings ...just imagine it...for example St. Pauls cathederal...will not not be allowed to be repaired.
6) New marriage laws and attire for womens.
7) Education cirriculums changed to add RE which must teach the values of (peaceful)Islam.

8)new control systems for the nucleur weapons systems of Eurabia (instructions in Urdu and Arabic to be added).
And there you have it....no need for muslims to spend money on nucleur weapons...they simply have to wait..and Allah SWT will provide.
My greatest fear with this scenario however is that nucleur exchange will actually take place between Eurabia and the Amereke.
So all the rich Kafur that ran away in the first place to be safe...well they won't be safe will they?

As far as nuclear weapons, it is pointless for muslims to have them without the missile systems to delivery them. Making a nuclear bomb is one thing. Making it fit on a warhead is another. Making that missile fly inter continental distances and reach a target with any degree of accuracy and reliability is quite another again. Muslims don't have anywhere near that level of ability and probably never will unless someone does it for them. They are primitive, hairy sand worshippers running around in filthy sheets and sandals yelling Lalalalalalal.

I too fear a nuclear exchange but not with Europe. In reality the USA has the ability to survive a limited nuclear exchange. We are not as tightly packed population wise and that is not all. We already have the ability to launch devastating no notice attacks on the entire world. We could also respond almost instantly to a surprise attack. And if necessary we could end all life on this planet. We have the power right now to launch devastation on a biblical scale. What the enemies of the United States fail to realize is they have never seen nor felt our true anger. All our recent conflicts have been controlled and conducted without true rage. Although we have been in wars with countries we claimed were a threat to the US, none of the recent conflicts even came close to threatening our people or our way of life. All it will take to completely eliminate the muslim threat is for us to simply get angry. It is not as if the UN, NATO or anyone else would step up to protect them. The entire ummah exists only because we turn a blind eye to them and their plans of global domination. It might take watching parts of Europe fall and the carnage that will result from “peaceful muslim rule” or another viscous attack against us but mark my words it will not take nearly as much to anger us as it would have on September 10th 2001.

Saudi Arabia Special Weapons That site claims that KSA doesn't have nukes, however KSA is the most secretive and inpenetrable country in the world. Actually all Muslim countries and organizations are impervious to penetration except perhaps from communications intercept, but then the U.S. relies on Muslim interpreters, if they are in fact permitted by the administration to gather intell, which is not the case with KSA given the cozy relationship of the House of Saud and House of Bush.

We all know what happens to a country when Ismal takes over, basically it is:
1. Get non muslims to become financial slaves.
2. Get them to convert to islam & mock their religion at every aspect.

4. Majority muslims are generally uneducated enough, because of the islamic goverments policy.

Mahathir used nukes as a term of a leverage in negotiation ot a protection policy. While he is right in every sense, he is wrong.
You see, we cant predict the furure, while the present goverment wants nukes for peace, the future goverment may not. They would use it for attacking. PERIOD

bigcatgirl, you misread my post. My post concerned making a bomb fit onto a warhead and then developing a delivery system for that warhead. Making a bomb is one thing, even a paki can do that. (Well, with stolen knowledge and help from non muslims.)

I wonder what John Kennedy would have to say about Nuclear proliferation? I had a Korean tell me, it would be good for everyone to have a nuclear weapon. The only problem with this thought is how would you know who fired a weapon, even if it was by accident?
