Islamabad, 21 Sept. (AKI) - A Shiite Muslim religious leader was killed by unidentified gunman in Pakistan's eastern province of Punjab on Thursday, according to a report on the Chinese Xinhua news agency. Men on motorcycles opened fire on Syed Bashir Hussain Bukhari, 85, in the main market in Sargodha, 175 kilometres north-west of Lahore, Punjab's capital. Bukhari was seriously injured in the attack and died later in hospital, local sources said. No one has claimed responsibility for the killing.Xinhua reported that as news spread of the assassination, people demonstrated in the streets to protest the killing. Tyres were reportedly burnt and roads blocked.
Local police believe that the attack may have been caused by sectarianism. The Shiite religious leaders surivived an attempt on his life in 1994. He was a witness in a case in which two prominent Shiite leaders were killed in a terrorist attack in 1994.

This may be true, usually, when the terrorists attack, they try to kill several at one time.

Shia in Pakistan need to respond with attacks. They should work to get Iran to invade Pakistan, and maybe import Hizbullah terrorists and Moqtada al Sadr to Pakistan, so that they can all take on the Sunni. Let the Pakis handle that.
Not likely to happen, but the Shia need to implement their eye for an eye policy.

Much of what you say, and Mr. Fitzgerald holds the same opinion, can be achieved by the withdrawal of forces from iraq. There will be mayhem in that part of the world, and it will inevitably spill into the neighbouring countries, all of them either shia/sunni.
There is this nutjob now, blaming people from Punjab. What do I do with him ? I ask because I did not know that chicken was an apostate, and I wasted a lot of JW bandwidth on him. Had I known he was a muslim, I would have understood the insanity immediately and not bothered to counter his rantings. I know that atrocities are being inflicted on the Balooch. The muslims of West Punjab region who control pakistan are doing it. The U.N. and Human Rights people are silent. No one expects them to speak out for the Baloochs.
I also know that the Baloochees are Persians who were converted at swordpoint. And the atrocities that you mention in your post are classic islamic ones, and cannot be attributed to a particular region alone, in this case Punjab.
In case you did not know, the Balooch are being supported from outside by, let us say, "several people".

Balochis are not persians. Persians are murdering balochis in Iran too.
And I know that Punjabis are savages. I cannot deny that which I have seen with my own eyes everyday and blood boiled.
Many muslims are peaceful, such as ahmadiyas. Do you know many balochis follow sufi-mystic traditions which preach equality of religions and do not consider Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) as final.
Punjabis are very selfish and tricksters. They are experts in fleecing your land and wealth from you.
Punjabis illegally construct shops and buildings on Balochi lands including the gwadar port and I was told by Indian friends that,
