Britain has become the main target of al Qaeda, which views the July 7 bombings as the beginning of its campaign in this country, security sources have warned.Counter-terrorist officials claim the terrorist network has "regrouped" and presents a greater threat than ever before.
According to the officials, al Qaeda has re-established its organisation in Pakistan and is ready to unleash another major attack on Britain.
One security source told the Guardian the organisation saw last year's London bombings as "just the beginning", adding: "Al Qaeda sees the UK as a massive opportunity to cause loss of life and embarrassment to the authorities."
They ought to be embarrassed enough already.
It is ironic that Britain, which has bent over backwards to accomodate large Muslim populations, should now be the main target.

How can Al-Qaeda rebuild itself in Pakistan? Mushy Raff keeps telling the world that he's cracking down on the terrorist filth so how can this be? You are where I was, I have talked with my familly about leaving Europe as I thought it was doomed, but I am seeing some fight there yet and perhaps there is hope...
I want to get hold of a few guns or any type of weapon, such as bows or crossbows, I did kendo and martial arts, I have some nasty swords that will do some damage to an Muslim attacker, I can make throwing stars and know how to use them.
Look at your house and your garden, can you build a few stake pits in key areas, set some caltrops up, buy those big nails, then twist them so that they go through the shoes of an attacker, I have a plan to take a few of these bastards with me if they get out of their self-imposed ghettos and spread their jihad at my door. I have built a defence plan, I have brought many of the items I need to fortify my house and channel them into a killing zone. You can make IED's with gas bottles.
