In October this year the Council of Churches in the state of Victoria, Australia, commissioned a study authored by Rev Dr Duncan Reid, whose recommendations for building better ties between Muslims and Christians include ” giving advice to Muslims about how to live as Muslims within this wider Australian context, eg how to bank one’s savings in normal banks, in the face of the Muslim ban on charging or receiving interest.”
Dr Rahim Ghouse, business associate the SDGT Yassin Al-Kadi is amongst those whose input Reid acknowledges in his study. Ghouse heads the Muslim Community Co-Operative Australia, the largest sharia compliant financial institution in Australia.
The Columban Mission Society Australia runs the Centre for Christian-Muslim Relations ,whose website included until a recent point in time, links to the Al-Haramaein Charitable Foundation of Saudi Arabia, even after the Centre was advised that that the Foundation had been banned in the US for financing terrorism. The Centre works with a local Muslim organization, the Affinity Inter-cultural Group, to promote better understanding of Islam, despite being advised about Affinity’s support for and links to the Syrian minister Dr Mohamad Al Habash. Al Habash has been denied entry to the US and Australia, and recently called for jihad against Israel.

I have ceased contributing to any church group, and much prefer giving what I can directly to people that I know who need help. Often they have been neighbors who have fallen on hard times because of illness in the family. The gift is made discretely in cash with the specification that no repayment is expected, and that the recipient help someone else in need if and when they are able. I trust organized religion (National Council of Churches and their members) about as much as I trust government.

Empty churches in Europe bring about many dissatisfied clergymen.
An increasingly secular flock confuses, it instills envy in priests & preachers, catholic/protestant or whatever, many of the 'socialist' variety, who are fascinated by the way the Islamic clerics attract and fire up the mob, the community of Mohammed-worshippers....
Europe's clergy didn't have such powers for many decades now...
Often they are naive victims of 'inter-faith-dialogues'- which are nothing but demands, by the Mohammedans to convert. Nothing less. Some of these priests do and are celebrated in a triumphalist way...

It is true that at the polar extreme of the Left, and the polar extreme of the Right, there is a neo-Gnostic consanguinity. However, the extremist Right is not at all "vast", while the extremist Left is in fact vast, and has also become, through percolation, sociopolitically dominant in the West.
The liberal Christians (mainly Protestant) don't seem to understand that the Muslim don't care that you are not a evangelical/fundamentalist, they still consider you a infidel and will treat you as such if they ever get in power. However, the jihadists will use you first and then dispose of you. But the liberal Christians won't listen, they seem to try to make peace at the expense of reality.
