Egypt: Christian girl escapes Muslim kidnappers

An Egyptian Christian teenager escaped her Muslim kidnappers last week hours after they had drugged her on a public bus. While holding her captive, they threatened to rape her and convert her to Islam if her family did not leave their Nile Delta city of El-Mahala el-Kobra.

It is a speciality of Islam to be so religious and so evil at the same time.

I hope I don't get my comment removed, but damn I hate Muslims and Islam with every fiber of my being.It is stories such as this with their everyday abuses of innocent regular people that make me hate them. I am not a hateful or violent person, but have never hated any one more in my whole life and have never wanted to fight any more in my whole life until Islam came into it. I hate Islam for personal reasons, (I can say that I have seen Islam up very close )and I hate because of what I have to listen to,watch and hear the Muslim vile things say and do everyday, day in and day out. Islam is as evil as Nazism and Communism. This struggle will define and consume the next one-hunded years.

I hope this turns out well for this family, I would even be happy to see some Western country take them in , but sadly I have the sick feeling that this girls kidnappers would have an easier time getting into the west.I really hate and loathe Western people who defend Islam as well.

(Off topic but important, but I live in the Minneapolis St.Paul area and there are thousands, no tens of thousands of Somalis here and they are starting to get very aggressive and territorial and setting up some very European style enclaves in some of the Neighborhoods and housing projects around downtown Minneapolis.(A friend was in his backyard recently and heard the Islamic call to prayer emminating from somewhere near by.)There are Mosques,Halal butcher shops, hijabed women and money wiring shops every where in certain areas.(The huge influx of Hispanics into some areas has helped tone down the the Muslim atmosphere a liitle bit.) Also some Somalis have been carrying out armed robberies on people. Some these hoods are the kids/relatives of the airport Taxi-drivers getting the press. Trouble is coming, the Somalis from time to time have gotten into violent confrontations with others, particularly non-Muslim American born Blacks.One of the worst places is a housing projects called Cedar Riverside aka little Mogadishu which is almost all Somali, with a smaller number of Ethiopian Oromo Muslims as well and some very out numbered infidels. I would strongly advise a non-Muslim not to cross through this project as short cut to the light rail, good way to get robbed and jumped.Somali gangs are noted by the police as an emerging problem. The numbers of Arab and Indo-Pakistani Muslims is also increasing in Minnesota.In a smaller city here called Rochester, they are building a huge Mosque and are proud of their Al-Ahzar trained Imam. Sorry to get off topic, but this is background information that can add to understanding the Taxi thing here. Damn the churches, charities and others who brought these people here. The Muslims have no intention on behaving themselves here.

I know exactly what you speak of. I live in the same place as you. The scary part is that I moved from New York and thought Minnesota would be an improvement. It decidedly is not! "Minnesota nice" is a crock. I can certainly see why you feel the way you do about that bunch, especially given this story. At least in this case we get a happy ending.

Islam gives permission to conduct criminal acts with impunity, as long as you claim you are are doing it for Allah. Take Allah out of the picture and what you have left is criminal insanity and homicidal mania.
Keep him in and you can take out the word 'criminal', but insanity and homicidal mania remain. Thats what is wrong with Islam. It does not calm the savage beast, it creates them. If Allah created all this insanity and homicidal rage, he cant be good. If he is powerless to stop it, he cant be God. Allah is not a 'being' at all, he is an ideological demon. Nice little "society" they got there. Even when taken to the "safety" of the police station, the terror continues.

This part of the story reminds me of the horror movies, where at the end you think the axe-murderer is dead, and the heroine sits crying tears of joy and relief with her back to the axe-murderer, and then in the background you see the axe-murderer get back up again.

I'm so glad that Egypt is one of the biggest recipients of U.S. foreign aid, and that we encourage so much immigration from there. Yes, we are all one big happy Family of Mankind, we all want the same things, we are all the same.

abdulalshirk and ISLAMSFORLOSERS, I'll be visiting back in Minneapolis next week. It will be interesting to see Cedar Riverside. Did the Muslims tear down the giant mural of Jesus saying "Whosoever shall may come" that is/was visible from the freeway? (ISLAMSFORLOSERS, I think "Minnesota Nice" is meant to be ironic, meaning that it is an insincere niceness).

“You should say that you took the bus to Tahrir Square [located in central Cairo] and met a guy named Fady, who took you to sleep at his house with his mother,” Emil said police told her. “Say that; otherwise you won’t see your parents again.”

After Emil had regained use of her limbs, police had her sign a statement that she had met a male friend in Cairo and spent the night at his house, Compass confirmed. She was then reunited with her family. --

Oh well. If the government had adopted its *other* strategy for dealing with countries this messed up (invade, push democracy, which means get a part-shari'a democracy, mixed with constant Islamic terrorism -- as opposed to paying off a totalitarian dictator (who is actually making our future position worse by propping up terrorists to make himself seem useful)), I suppose the Christians in Egypt would have it even worse off, like the Christians (that were) in Iraq.

We're still fighting the last war's ideologies, Communism and Nazism (you want proof of this, look at any neocon publication). Until we figure out that evil ideologies can can sometimes originate somewhere other than Europe's philosophy departments, and can sometimes call themselves religion--and have a god-figure in them to back that claim up-- we aren't going to be able to do adopt the immigration policies that enable us to help in the oppressed refugees that aren't embodying the ideology which assures their oppression, and that therefore aren't a threat to the few countries of relative sanity (and the prosperity that comes from that) that do exist in the world.

the bit about the egyptian POLICE doesn't surprise me. Their criminal jihadist nature may be only exceeded among police forces by the terrorist nature of the palestinian authority "police forces" [there about a dozen of them].
Think about the Ras Burka incident in 1985 which probably got little coverage in the American press. A group of about 15 Israelis, adults and children, the adults belonging mainly to the "pro-peace" body of opinion, had come to Sinai for a vacation. An egyptian policeman, unexpectedly started shooting at them and killed a few. Among those who were not hit was one physician. The other egyptian police in the area did NOT let this physician approach and care for his wounded friends. This went on for a few hours and some of the wounded Israelis died who otherwise could have been saved by medical treatment. Note the behavior of the other egyptian police, not so much the one who shot but the others who prevented the wounded from being treated. That is peace with an Arab-Muslim state. Since 1985 there have been other incidents where egyptian officials prevented Israeli emergency medical teams [Magen David Adom] from entering Egyptian territory in Sinai in order to treat Israelis and others wounded in the recent terrorist attacks on the Sinai-Gulf of Eilat coast. There have been a few attacks in the Cairo area too, although I don't know the details in those cases. Ironically, Arab Israeli citizens affected by terrorist attacks in Sinai have been prevented too from getting Israeli medical help. Some of these Israeli Arabs even had critical things to say about their treatment at egyptian hands, including medical treatment and its quality or its absence.

have any widely regarded imams ever declared that that forced conversion is wrong? i mean, is it supported in the mainstream of islam? or is it a whacky subsect?

The high school girls you wrote so beautifully about above is a martyr. There are several saints from the time of the Roman persecutions who threw themselves into rivers to drown rather than submit. She is not a suicide but a righteous death.

I know that liberal states like Minnesota might have strict gun laws but if you drive a few states south, you can get what you need, completely legal. What you wrote breaks my heart. I can't for the life of me imagine luring anyone, let alone someone I went to school with, to her death or something arguably worse.

What causes such woman-on-woman viciousness? Is it rage at their own lives? I don't mean to ask a foolish or naive question, it's just something I can't conceive.

Hey Plague, I've been out of circulation for a good reason. I'm helping to keep the members of the U.S Navy secured while they help to safeguard our way of life overseas. This is a very important job and it has taken me away for a little while. But I find the time to check out JW/DW. My job is keeping and maintaining the gates of a naval instillation. By doing what I do, I'm helping to free up the young men and women of the Navy to defend America against the Islamofeces that would threaten our way of life. I can't give away the name of the naval instillation due to security concerns, even though it is concidered a hard target, I wouldn't want to put the lives of my fellow officers and myself in more danger than we already are in. The majority of us are prior service and take this job very seriously. With Kim Jong Il testing his nukes and Islamofeces setting the world on fire at every supposed insult to the child molestin' pediophile, phalse, prophet Muhammad, our young service member are needed. I've also caught Robert Spencer on the Micheal Medved radio show. he is to be commended for helping to reveil true Islam and it's founder Muhammad. I never get the chance to call in to the show due to my duties, but he helps to make what I do that much more important. Case in point, the article above. We need to stay the course in Iraq to prevent this kind of thing from happening to another Bible believer. You never hear of Christians kidnapping anyone because of their religious beliefs. The intolorance of Islam is sickening. It's time to take out the trash. Once again by standing post outside of the Naval base, I'm helping to make sure that our servicemen and women can help to arange that meeting of the jihadist and their 72 virgins in Islamic heaven. I have friends in Egypt who are Coptic. The kidnap/conversion is one of the reasons all Copts are tatooed with a cross on their left wrists.

I pray for them to get visas out of Egypt/Misr soon, before their beautiful 11 year old daughter becomes one of the many abductees.

Yes, Misr is miserable. The problem there is that if all the Copts leave, then they have surrendered the country to the Arab/Muslims by default, and they won't have a claim to it anymore. On the other hand, more Copts in Western lands might mean that they can influence Western governments, parliaments, press, media, public opinion, church groups, etc. The latter is what they should be doing right now.
