On Sunday, October 8, 2006, an Islamic website posted a series of images produced by the Izz al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, titled "How to make his [sic] son terrorist." [1]The images show various methods which are supposedly effective in imbuing children with terrorist aspirations. The first image is a montage showing an infant in the center, with a picture of Osama bin Laden on the right, and the image of Yahya Ayyash, the legendary Hamas explosives engineer, on the left. The infant is wearing a green Kata'ib Al-Qassam (Al-Qassam Brigades) ribbon on his forehead. Below that is a picture of three horsemen and a caption saying "The horses' backs were our cradles, and on them we followed our ancestors [in Jihad]."
Two other pictures (see below) show an infant placed in front of a computer screen displaying scenes of jihad.
The palestinians are there own worst enemies. so are all the mujahedeen. There is a kind of built in self destruction in this militant islamic ideology. However whilst they are self destroying, they give the world a terrible headache.
There's no doubt in my mind that this cute, cuddly baby will one day strap explosives to himself. How sad.

I'm not sure why Robert doubts the "effecacy" of this sort of campaign. It's just the latest innovation on Arafat's decades-old initiative to cultivate legions of "martyrs" by exhorting the "Palestinian" Arabs -- through Friday night sermons, PA TV broadcasts, the education system -- to develop parents like the infamous Um Nidal, to breed prodigiously families for the express purpose of producing legions of suicide bombers to lay their lives on the line so that the likes of Arafat can for evermore run bankrupt Islamic statelets on foreign aid and never be questioned as to what the money is really being used for. It's all being used in aid of the "project" to eliminate Israel, subjegate all non-Muslims and reestablish the Caliphate.
In the nearly 10 years between the establishment of the PA and Arafat's death, there was virtually no economic development, despite billions in aid, no new housing was built, etc.. Just more violence against Israelis, because these folks are just so gosh, darn humiliated by security check-points and anti-terrorist fencing.

I don't know about anyone else, but I am so horrified by this, I feel like I've been punched in the stomach, and I mean that quite literally.
I wish I could post a similar picture for you of one of my babies. When we were still Orthodox, when the babies were new we'd place a picture of a famous rabbi next to their little faces when they would sleep, in order to hopefully cause some of the rav's traits to influence the growing child. We were hoping for traits such as kindness to others, love of Torah, sincerity of prayer. I'm almost physically ill at seeing such a heartbreaking picture of so innocent a person and contrasting it with the evil planned for him by the ones who ought to protect him above all else - his own parents.
If there is any people on this earth that fits the description "Wretched refuse of the world" it would have to be the Palestinians. For 60 years they wail about their mythical Eden that the Zionists stole (as if a Wermacht of 6 million Jews wiped out the greatest civilization in history), whine incessantly how they are victims of virtually every form of oppression known to mankind, and expect the world to help them by lavishing billions of dollars on corrupt terrorist organizations like the PLO. Now we see something like this- brainwashing from cradle to grave. Yes, wise old Father Arafat has taught his people well. The fat pig might be dead and rotting in hell but the ideas of the founder of modern day terrorism live on. Next time Israel decides to take out this refuse I hope God grants them the will to finish the job and to hell with world opinion.

We in the civilized world try to keep our little ones from hitting or biting their playmates. We have as our goal to produce a kind, good citizen that would never think of murder as the pinnacle of success.
But with the Mohammedans, they are likely to grow up to become terrorists, soldiers, death squad members, suicide bombers, imams/mullahs/ayatollahs/muftis and if they are women, just breeders of jihadis like this one. Which is why when looking at such pictures, one might as well (tough as it is) suspend one's human reactions to this site, and think of it as a baby serpent that's just been born.

This is indeed seen as a weakness by jihadists who constantly try to exploit our respect for human life whenever possible. The upside is that regardless of how many CLONES they produce throughout time, the ideology by its very nature will always be doomed to self destruction. It's just a question of how many will be sacrificed to ensure the existance of human liberty in whatever form it shall morph into.
This picture tells me one thing-the only thing these lunatics love is death and absolutely NOTHING else.

The utter tragedy of it all is that if that beautiful boy was raised by any one of us he'd have a future. He'd love Pepsi more than he will love Death in the Cause of Allah.
How something as beautiful as that little boy who could have so much potential in the proper circumstances can be corrupted so badly by a set of thoughts in his head sickens me to no end.

And to think that here in the Bay Area we have endless heated discussions about when tots should start pre-school, whether flash cards (mathematics) are useful for toddlers, and if playing Mozart in utero will improve your child's IQ and give him an early appreciation of beauty.
But in the "Palestinian Territories" it's different. First you have babes in arms with "Martyr" headbands. Then of course these little ones soon graduate to kindergarten costume parades in cardboard suicide bomber belts. By the time they hit grade school they are old enough to start throwing stones at Israeli soldiers in the hope that they may be mistakenly shot at.Then in lieu of secondary education they can become full-fledged terrorists and homicide bombers.
So sad.
Think about this: Eighteen years from now this precious little baby will probably have grown up to be a bomb toting killer. Your child and my grandchild could be murdered by this soon to be not so innocent infant.
If a roof falls on his head caused by the next earthquake, or he dies in the next Israeli offensive, I'll not shed one tear.
I would shed a tear - for the loss of the potential for good embodied in that little person. How many lives that could have brought beauty, grace, new ideas, cures for serious diease, love and laughter to many others have been blighted by this mindset foist on them from birth? I agree with the poster above - to think this type of 'love' is offered by those given stewardship of this little one - his parents. I've often thought Islam to be at its worst when it overrides the natural love of a parent for his/her child and instead promotes a longing for the child's 'martyrdom'. Really, really twisted.

The "Arab Human Development Report 2002", written by Arab researchers who live in Arab countries, shows that the gap between the developed world and the Arab world is increasing in every single area, from education to wealth. Even Asia and Latin America are leaving the Arabs way behind. Except for some parts of black Africa that are still entangled in civil wars, the Arab world is pretty much the worst place on the planet.
The numbers are embarrassing. Despite the trillions of dollars earned with the oil trade, all the Arab countries together have a combined gross domestic product that is half that of Spain alone. No Arab country has invested in industry, services, agriculture. The oil money is obviously being spent only on palaces and weapons.
Unemployment is not too bad by European standards (15%) but then it does not include women, who are rarely counted as human beings.
In the Internet age, only 1% of Arabs own a computer.
Needless to say, the Arab world has the highest concentration of dictatorships in the world, featuring two of the all-time record holders (Qaddafi and Saddam, both in power since the Sixties). No Arab country (says the report) has free media and only a handful of them allows opposition papers (by contrast, Iran is a model of democracy, as at least opposition papers are widespread). The "freedom score", says the report, is less than half of the rest of Africa (a place not famous for democracy).
If the economic indicators are horrifying, numbers about education are even worse. No wonder so many Arabs choose to become suicide bombers: they have close to zero knowledge of the world, Physics, History, Geography, Science. The report says that over the last thousand years, the entire Arab world has translated fewer books than Spain translates in one year: so much for respecting other cultures. But then who cares about books: one Arab in four is illiterate, the vast majority being women.
Confronted with these terrifying statistics, one wonders how can anyone (Muslim or not) accept to live in such hell. One would expect the Arab masses to rise against the mad dictators who caused this social, economic and cultural disaster. Instead, Arabs seem to be perfectly happy: the number of protests against their own leaders is minimal. The very same Arabs who take to the streets to burn Israeli and American flags are perfectly happy to be treated like animals by their own dictators. Somehow, the Arab masses think that huge injustice from an Arab dictator is ok, but the slightest interference from an infidel is worth a holy war.
There is one statistic in which Arabs lead the world: 38% of Arabs are under 14. There are hundreds of millions of young Arabs who are growing up absolutely ignorant in every field (except the Quran), without jobs and under totalitarian regimes.
That is the real time bomb for the 21st century.

If you've never seen it, or haven't watched it in a long time, this Christmas, watch for a screening of the Alistair Sim version of Dickens's A Christmas Carol, and watch for the scene with the Ghost of Christmases Past lifting his robes to reveal two children hiding under there. One is "Want" and the other is "Ignorance" and the Ghost cautions Scrooge about how dangerous these two children will become if the course of history isn't changed. As I said above, Arafat exceeded Hitler in understanding that the way to produce a lasting legacy was to instill in those of parenting age an understanding that if they were "too old and weary" to engage in the fight themselves, then the next best thing was to give up your children to the cause, and rewarded those parents who did.
As for the parents who weren't so happy about their children becoming "martyrs", well they know the price of opposing Arafat & Co. The father of the first female terror bomber was a Palestinian who did business with Israelis, so one of Fatah's "arm's length" concerns cultivated his daughter as a volunteer to the cause.
The "Palestinian" is a damned race. They have nothing to leave the Earth should they ever succeed in what they hope to do. They have only one cultural legacy, and that is of death and destruction. They are a people doomed to death and destruction.
The insanity that permeates these people will not be allowed to spread throughout the world. Eventually, all of them will die. It is an inevitability.
