An update on this story from Compass Direct:
October 5 (Compass Direct News) – After nine days in secret police custody, Reza Montazami and his wife, Fereshteh Dibaj, were released on bail this morning by order of a Revolutionary Court in Mashhad, Iran.Montazami’s elderly parents were summoned to the court at 8 a.m. today to post bail for the detained Christian couple. The parents were required to turn over the title deed for property worth $25,000 on bond.
Within hours, Montazami and his wife, leaders of an independent house church in Mashhad, were released by police officials and allowed to return home.
Fereshteh Dibaj’s brother, Issa Dibaj, who spoke by telephone with the couple after their release today, told Compass they were not physically mistreated while under police custody.
Although no specific charges against the Christian couple have been made public, the file on their case reportedly remains open.
Where's the problem. That has been a routine procedure for almost 1400 years. And if this kind of treatment of christians in islamic countries it's that old, it must be good, musn't it?
Now the mad mullahs can point out how nice they really are. After all, they didn't behead these people. Small comfort to them after being detained for 9 days though. Of course the mule- oz will also say they were merely acting Islamically. Too bad they can't say why this must be so, being the mindless robots that they are. Any chance of this couple being allowed to leave this "paradise"? One can only hope.
Sentence first, trial second...

Sentence first, rip off second, starve or kill third, no trial. Shooting is quicker.
(I used to wake up at 4 am. After a few days I realized it was the shooting of the executions at Ewin, the prison the dissidents were in until they were executed)
Wish this would have happened last month when Mike Wallace was kissing Ahmadinnerjacket's rear-end. Perhaps he would have asked him about freedom of religion in the tolerant Islamic Republic.
Going public on Christians arrested by Muslim authorities helps.
Despite the general indifference of the Western press to Christians living in Islamic societies, this is a better alternative than silence.
Owing to silence and lack of information (the family feared that going public would be to their disadvantage)Pastor Mehr was killed by the Ayatollahs about 14 years ago.
The Iranian police told the family that they could recover the body after a few denials that he was with them.
When the family finally got it they found that the belly of the corpse had been crudely stitched back into shape.
