Jihad against Pope's website fails

Islamohackers fail in their attempt to convert the Vatican website to Islam. May their brothers in jihad likewise fail in their jihadist endeavors in Italy, Europe as a whole, and elsewhere. And the Pope, of course, is far too clever to push that button. An update on this story: "Muslim hackers fail to crash Pope's website," from the Daily Mail, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

Islamic computer hackers reportedly tried to disrupt the Vatican web site last week, but failed.

In an online forum for militant Muslims, a previously unknown group had announced plans for an assault on the Vatican computer network, which was said to be a form of retribution for Pope Benedict's recent speech which was seen by many Muslims as an attack on Islam.

Police later confirmed that there had been a concerted effort by hackers to penetrate the Vatican site, but computer-security experts were able to detect and repel the attack.

The nature of the attempted attack was not clear. Some observers in Rome believed that the Islamic group was planning a "denial of service" attack, in which a web site is bombarded with many thousands of simultaneous visits, overloading the available bandwidth and making it impossible for others to reach the site. In fact the Vatican site has functioned normally, with minimal noticeable slowdowns, throughout the past week, but Vatican security personnel are remaining vigilant.

Well, well, the poor babies didn't get the Pope to convert, nor were they successful in crashing the Vatican's website. It must be because of their Ramadan fasting. If their technicians were passing out from hunger or falling asleep from overeating, they were less than effective. I sense another Islamic temper tantrum coming....

The lack of muslim expertise in technology shouldn't be a surprise, though. If they can't build or fix a bicycle yet, then crashing a website is probably a few millenia out of reach for them, too.

BWaHaHaHaHa!!

lol "Islamohackers" :D I guess they're not as successful in cyber-jihad as they are in burning flags. After all, hacking on the internet requires a BRAIN!

That's a symbolic victory, that is.

However, the site was later hacked in effigy, using a "computer" and "monitor" made from cardboard boxes (complete with "Infidel Inside" logo)...

This more literal attempt at "hacking" was an unqualified success.

Proof positive that our God kicks Allah's butt!

That video was yanked by YouTube.

Just goes to show that, on the average, Catholics are smarter than Muslims. For that matter, on the average, practically everyone is smater than Muslims.

Why don't we attack Islamic Militant sites? I think this is a good time to stop them spreading the messages of the Evil elements.

Good news! But is anyone surprised? Islam is a religion of incompetent blow-hards.

OT: Speaking of YouTube videos, did anyone manage to see the recent vid of British right-wing gunmen making threats towards Muslim terrorists in Britain? I didn't see it, but I read about it in the news. I'm wondering if it's still posted...

MusHuntCowboy - Don't worry ... they're at a big disatvantage already.
We use mice - they use camels.

This is just too funny. They announced that they were going to hack the Vatican site in order to convert the Vatican to Islam, and they failed in their mission.

What does that say about "allah"? It is evidence that "allah" has become like the pagan gods, that is an empty idol made of plaster or in this case sawdust (interpret as brain inside Muslim). The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has triumphed over "allah" in this significantly small victory against Islam.

This should be cause for celebration because the Muslim hackers are not victorious. The Pope has in fact won a very strong victory.
