Leaders of the Hizbul Mujahideen have said that jihad is the only means to liberate Kashmir from Indian occupation.

The commander of the organization, according to Dawn newspaper, while addressing a Jihad Paigham conference here on Saturday, criticized the policies of Pakistan President Gen Pervez Musharraf and said that due to his Kashmir policy the cause of Kashmir had received a setback.

The conference was addressed by senior Provincial Minister Sirajul Haq, Vice-Emir of Hizbul Mujahideen Abdul Wasai, Provincial President Abdul Malik, MPA Muzzafar Said and Amir Jamaat-i-Islami, director, Muohammad Gulab.

The speakers urged the people to come forward and fully support the Kashmir liberation movement.

They said that the liberation movement was in its final stages and only a little push would force the Indian occupational forces to leave the area.
