Paris: Muslim airport workers lose clearances

Of course, they are claiming discrimination. "Muslim airport workers lose clearances," by Jamey Keaten for Associated Press, with thanks to Drew:

PARIS - Authorities at Charles de Gaulle airport have stripped several dozen employees — almost all of them Muslims — of their security badges in a crackdown against terrorism, a government official said Friday.

Four baggage handlers who lost their clearance filed a joint discrimination complaint this week, alleging they had been unfairly associated with terrorism because they are Muslims, their lawyers said. Some had been in their jobs for up to five years.

The baggage handlers and other employees have been barred from secure areas at the airport since February, Jacques Lebrot, an official who oversees the airport, told The Associated Press in an interview.

The cases were "linked to terrorism, of course," he said, adding that the crackdown followed recommendations by France's anti-terrorism coordination unit, UCLAT, as part of an 18-month investigation.

"You don't strip people of their badges for small matters," he said. The crackdown was part of heightened security in France, after terror attacks in Britain, Spain and the United States in recent years.

Lebrot, citing security reasons, declined to say whether the "several dozen" people — he would not specify how many — who lost their badges had been involved in specific plots.

"Mr. X or Y could have been suspected because corresponding facts ... suggested he belonged to a sizable network," Lebrot said, without elaborating. Others could have been stripped of the badges because they were "impressionable and manipulated" by such networks, he said....

In letters from the regional government office, the employees were told that they presented a "significant danger to airport security," or had shown "personal behavior threatening airport security."

Lawyers for those who lost their badges said that under police questioning, they were never told of the reasons they lost their badges — but repeatedly were asked about their religion.

"The link among these people is that either they are Arab — or practice their religion in a normal way," said Eric Moutet, a lawyer for the four employees suing in administrative court. Authorities, he said, "are in essence asking people to prove they are not terrorists."

They "practice their religion in a normal way." Does that mean in a way that Osama bin Laden might consider normal? In a way that accords with mainstream teaching of all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, all of which mandate warfare against unbelievers?

All workers should get the 33:21 test:

"Do you believe that Mohammed led the perfect life, one that should be emulated by all Muslims?"

If he answers "yes," then he is an unacceptable security risk.

If that is challenged in court, just enter Robert's book into evidence. QED. Case closed. Mohammedan be gone.

Congratulations France! You are one step ahead of the pack. The next time I see a French girl walking down my street, I will hug her and give her that petite kiss and tell her that her country is doing a great job against the terrorists!

The only country appears to have the balls to tackle the terrorists face to face.

On the heels of the publication of
"The Truth About Muhammad" coincedence?I think not. First positive move Ive seen in some time ,will it hold?
nope. They should have backtracked by the time I hit Post,

At least it's a start.

Why was there an outcry on the Dubai ports deal ?

The answer my friend, is blowing in the koran.

Now we have to get rid of every last muslim operative in our domestic and foreign services (hear that Ibrahim) ?

Likely they can get jobs with CNN explaining how they are discriminated against when they are only a peaceful religion.

alleging they had been unfairly associated with terrorism because they are Muslims, their lawyers said

well for once their lawyer is right.. being a "devout muslim" equals terrorist!

One may wonder if a polite request from Uncle Sam somehow set things going. This is pure speculation, of course, but airline security is one huge issue that simply cannot be swept under the carpet out of the usual fear of offending or out of PC denial.

The sheer necessity of keeping security tight may, in fact, make this a highly interesting topic for raising awareness about the ROP. Due to the international nature of airline traffic, there is no way that the US would tolerate less stringent security with respect to flights from increasingly submissive nations such as France or the UK.

Assuming that no instances of airline traffic terrorism occur, this may be just what "we" would wish for: an awareness raising issue that cannot be ignored and cannot be subjected to spin.

Well, you wouldn`t let paedophiles work in schools
either, unless your name is Ruth Kelly and you were
head of the Department for Education and Skills.
What`s she doing now i wonder ?
Probably something to do with integration and
social cohesion.

vive la france!

Excellent! Now go about and crack the heads of those rowdy yoots and you might be able to get your country back.

Let us not be to hasty here. Many of the people flying out of French airports are French. Return those peace loving muslims to work and hire more. They wouldn't hurt the French and if I am wrong, I am willing to live with it.

Wow! Reading everone's comments, I can see that I'm not the only one shocked by this sudden turnabout from France!

If there is one thing that will save us from Jihazism, it is that eventually, they overstay their welcome, and the public finally rallies the government to get rid of them!!!

I think it was Ben Franklin who said something like, "Guests, like fish, after three days begin to smell."

Before you cheer, there are probably hundreds of Moslem baggage handlers etc. at Orly and the ones who got the boot were probably into heavy sh-t. The scariest and most serious of all are the ones who keep a low profile and don't tip their hand.

Stop worrying, I never fly through france and no real American would. There is no threat, go to the airport, enjoy yourselves, do not be an islamaphobe.

If you french are really worried, try this DEPORT them, taking their jobs away just makes them mad. Punish them or surrender, you are good at that anyway.

Well, I am making a trip to Colorado in December. To visit a Brother with cancer, and could do it by flying for about 100 dollars a ticket. Pretty cheap huh? Escorting my Mother mind you. So with that said, we are planning a road trip from Delaware to Colorado. Our venture will probably cost the airlines the 200 dollar profit they might have made via our presence. Scared to fly? No, I would fly to Paris in a heartbeat! Viva la France!

I still see no problem, I want as many muslims to work unmolested in french airports as the can hire. It will keep them busy, slow riots, save thousands of cars and muslims will flock to france and leave other parts of Europe. Everyone wins why is this not a good thing?

I agree the above

Paris is just ONE airport in Eurabia that is totally infiltrated by Mohammedans.

Is it different in Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Londonistan, Bruxelles or elsewhere? Of course not.

The Mohammedans are deeply 'embedded' and placed in strategic positions. The same goes for the Taxi's in front of the airports: Which of them is not driven by a Musulman?

The soldiers of Allah have come with a purpose: To conquer...
We don't know their strategy yet, our authorities have been deliberately blind and negligent to to inform themselves and the public...

But as it stands this is all coming to a head. France is on the forefront. Accommodating the Mohammedan scourge only encourages them to take it another step further..

The video of all the blood covered men reminds me of painted pictures I have seen of people suffering in hell, kind of fits them. Nice job.

These Bastards seem not to know how lucky they are to live in a land where they CAN whine about this; But I bet they know exactly what they’re doing! Abusing freedoms is the only fight they have left, next to blowing their sorry selves up.
Try crying in Iran or Crapistan and see what happens.

If those crybaby Muslims would speak out about their religion being “hijacked” and show some otherwise proof, this might have not happened, so lie in the bed you’ve made.

Damn barbarians!

And does anyone know anything about the lawyer representing them? Is it some ass that would rather line their pocket than look out for the future of our kids or is it some Islamic attorney that climbed the ladder, played it cool, and is destroying the west from within?

By the way, I am absolutely astonished that the media says France has a ball sack what so ever even though I know they don’t. This issue is petty and if those thugs didn’t throw a media tantrum we wouldn’t have known anything.

My grandfather fought in WWII and so did my elderly neighbor. Neither men knew each other and they both have the same opinion about France. They told me that the French (After surrendering without a fight) were such pussies that they sided with Germany and kept quiet out of fear as they opened the canals so that the Nazis to ambush the brave US soldiers in the canals that were there to DEFEND THEM!!

I know all sorts of things that are not in history books about this. Hopefully Mr. Spencer will talk to some of the veterans and record some of this is in his next book before truth is lost forever. It is relevant and our 80+ year old citizens need their stories recorded somewhere. Really, Nazi / Islam, What’s the difference?

Mother E

The reason why the "man with the donkey" was so famous was because he lasted so long. They made stretcher bearers and medicos prime sniper targets like the VC, NK and the Japanese.

They did not even have the decenty to bury the allied bodies after the retreat. They just left them there to rot in trhe sun and to feed the rats.

Just ask any old greek(I mean a real one) about the turks.

I wont say any more about how I feel but you won't catch me in Turkey or any Islamic country.

Hmmmm, Maybe the FBI should take a look at all of the Pakistanis workiing at rental car businesses around Washington-Baltimore airport?
