"They killed 80 teenagers who were students of the Quran." Yes, and how does that establish in any way that this was not a "terrorist-training facility," as Major General Shaukat Sultan called it?

An update to this story from AP, with thanks to all who sent this in:

KHAR, Pakistan Pakistan's army spokesman said Tuesday the military used intelligence provided by U.S.-led coalition forces in an air raid that left 80 people dead, while thousands of pro-Taliban tribesmen threatened to send suicide bombers to attack Pakistan forces and execute people found spying for the Americans....

Meanwhile, up to 20,000 people protested Tuesday in Khar, the main town in Pakistan's northwestern tribal Bajur district, claiming innocent students and teachers were killed in the attack. They chanted," "Death to Bush! Death to Musharraf!"

In a fiery speech, local pro-Taliban elder Inayatur Rahman said he has prepared a "squad of suicide bombers" to target Pakistani security forces in the same way that militants are attacking Americans in Afghanistan and Iraq.

"We will carry out these suicide attacks soon," he said, asking the crowd if they approved the idea. The angry mob yelled back in unison, "Yes!"

The rally also adopted a verbal resolution to stone to death anyone found spying for the Pakistan army or U.S. government. Protesters demanded compensation for the families of those killed.

Islamic leaders had called for nationwide protests Tuesday to denounce the air raid in Chingai village, located 10 kilometers (about 6 miles) from Khar near the Afghan border. It was the deadliest-ever military operation launched against suspected militants in the country....

The attack threatened efforts by President Gen. Pervez Musharraf to persuade deeply conservative tribespeople to back his government over pro-Taliban and al-Qaida fighters, who enjoy strong support in many semiautonomous regions in northern Pakistan.

The attack also sparked claims of U.S. collusion with Pakistan, with villagers saying fixed-wing drone aircraft were seen flying over the town in the days before the attack, according to the Dawn daily newspaper....

Fears are high that the attack will fan unrest across Pakistan. In the northwestern city of Peshawar, 500 members of a hard-line Islamic group burned an effigy of U.S. President George W. Bush on Tuesday and denounced Musharraf. A smaller protest was also held in the southern city of Multan.

The unrest caused Britain's Prince Charles, currently in Pakistan, to cancel his planned Tuesday trip to Peshawar, located in the country's northwest.

Many local lawmakers and regional Cabinet ministers resigned in protest over the attack. The planned signing of a peace deal between tribal leaders and the military was also canceled Monday in response to the airstrike....

Pakistan's most influential Islamist political leader, Qazi Hussain Ahmed, was to lead a convoy of cars Tuesday from the northwestern city of Peshawar to Khar and Chingai, his spokesman, Shahid Shamsi, said.

"They killed 80 teenagers who were students of the Quran," Ahmed told reporters on Monday.

They killed 80 teenagers who were students of the Quran."

Wonderful! This is a nice start. The sooner you zap them, the better. Time to make being a mule-ah as dangerous a job as possible. They spread poison everywhere they go so what do they expect? Besides, what greater glory for them than to die a martyr? At least that's the BS these "holies" tell their brainwashed followers. I guess it's ok for them to inspire fools to die as martyrs but it's a different story when THEIR necks are on the line.

As for the protests, let's send some money over as some idiots think that's a good idea.

Time for an "accidental" bombing?

"They killed 80 teenagers who were students of the Quran,"

Why is it that everytime we attack terrorists, they claim that we blew up a bunch of children? Could it be that they are using their own kids as human sheilds??? Nahhh, no one could be that barbaric.

It's about time we take the gloves off in Pakistan. They've been turning a blind eye to these radicals for far too long. Maybe we offered Musharraf a new book deal if he finally started cooperating. Or better yet, offered not to "bomb him back to the stoneage" if he helped.

The one image from the morning of 9-11 that sticks in my mind the most, was Pakastanis cheering and handing out candies in the streets in celebration of Americans dying.

So since I'm a firm believer in fair play, I will hand out candy today in their honor.

Ever wonder how in a country where you can't even find a can of Coke, you can find almost any flag in the world sold along side a gas can? I didn't even know what the Dutch flag looked like until the cartoons came out, then suddenly everyone across the Middle East had one in their back pocket just ready for a burnin.

Hmm ... weren't those 19 guys who hijacked a few airplanes in Sep 2001 "students of the Quran" too?

You are right Major - in fact it proves that they were on the way to becoming Jihadis.

A stitch in time saves nine.

I think they were palestininans - you know the people who have been on welfare for the past 50 years, and using the money they get from the West to wage war on Israel.

Wonder what would happen if I went out here on my street and burned up a Pakistani, Palestinian, or Lebanese flag?

Well, I fear some of those fine people would toss you into that fire for being so non-dhimmi.

The sounds of these bastards seething brings joy to one's heart.

And the presence of that appeaser multiculturalist twit Charles in that area is also priceless: he is just where he should be.

"Go out and make a speech Charles ! Make your mommy proud !" (makes one feel sorry for the Royal family).

(the more they seethe, the closer this struggle is to resolution and in our favor)

Go crowds go.

20.000 protesters would make fine target practice.

More madrassas and training camps need to be bombed. Someone needs to teach these useless breathers our understanding of right and wrong. Keep them on the run. Don't let up.

AIG, it would be great to not only burn a Paki flag, but the islam flag. Oh, and a mo effigy. (talk about the whining and crying if it happened)

Nevermind that the Pakistanis, among so many others, are training terrorists every day of the week, WE are expected to behave according to that "golden rule" that some here keep harping on.

Posted by: americaningermany at October 31, 2006 09:09 AM

Aint that the truth! Actually, the Islamaniacs follow their own golden rule-he who has the gold rules. That's why they keep heading West like a tidal wave-to grab as much of that gold that they can get their hands on. In their minds they figure if they can't outright destroy the West then they might as well turn it into the sewer from which they were spawned. They can burn all the flags they like so long as the West keeps on zapping those jihad training centers. Might as well zap them young-before they can develop a following of their own in the path of Mo and Allah.

Musharraf says no innocent people killed in the air strike on Bajaur .

According to Brecorder a Pakistani financial paper, per capita income in Pakistan is 847 dollars per year.

According to the
State Department web page
its 2400 dollars per year using purchasing power parity.

Musharraf is on top of a volcano. His ISI is against the West in ideology as are many Pakistanis. Musharraf thinks nothing of NATO force deaths in Pakistan.
"NATO COMMANDERS DEMAND PAKISTAN CLOSE TALIBAN SANCTUARY"
Ahmed Rashid

Brecorder

Pakistan's finances in a nutshell.

Annual 2004/05
Foreign Debt $36.56bn
Per Cap Income $847
GDP Growth 6.6%
Average CPI 7.95%
Monthly September
Trade Balance $-1.02bln
Exports $1.41bln
Imports $2.44bln
Weekly October 29, 2006
Reserves $12,544.5mln

Note that at 5 percent interest on 36 billion of foreign debt, one gets 1.8 billion interest, which is more than their annual exports of 1.41 billion.

Their central banker Husain pointed out this relationship in his book. Their debt is still close to unsustainable without outside help. The Clinton team wanted them to give up their support of the Taliban and their nukes to get financial aid.

Bush has let them continue both, and even spread nuclear technology. In fact, Bush has let them support, implicitly, high profile terrorist events in the West.

Enabling the enemy. Financing our own destruction...?

Posted by: americaningermany at October 31, 2006 10:12 AM

The enemy shall endure as long as the West remains this stupid. And I see no shortage of Western idiots-unfortunately.

You can bet that tribal leaders will accuse those who've opposed them in the past, or slighted them or their relatives, as 'spies' to be stoned to death.

I've never imagined the Golden Rule that I mentioned on the other thread yesterday has found its way here. Maybe it is a good time to check out :

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/09/07/60minutes/rooney/main1980801.shtml

".....The disaster on September 11th wasn't like any of those. It was manmade. Death by design. Some people who hated Americans set out to kill a lot of us and they succeeded

Americans are puzzled over why so many people in the world hate us. We seem so nice to ourselves. They do hate us though. We know that and we're trying to protect ourselves with more weapons.

We have to do it I suppose but it might be better if we figured out how to behave as a nation in a way that wouldn't make so many people in the world want to kill us."

americanin germany, the troll bites the bait. You've strung the stealth bomber.

Thanks for the reference to Andy Rooney and his remarks.

What a stupid fool. And he was even supposed to have served in the military (so did Murtha and Kerry).

The Dems have gone postal. What a pack of loser fools.

Andy Rooney has lost any respect or any appreciation for his easy delivery humour one once had for him and his 'talent'.

He is a stupid fool, more the pity since he has apparently not profited from his grey hairs.

Another screwed up and ignorant Dem totally oblivious to islam.

They killed 80 teenagers (*

This figure is getting twisted by the hour. I read about 20 killed, children and teachers, then I read about 40 innocent students were killed. Currently 80 teenagers killed.. anybody’s guess how long it will take when they start stating hundreds innocent people killed all under ten?

Muslims exaggerate soooo much when it suits them...

Rule 1 – Never trust a Muslim. I didn’t say that, Mohd. said that if you read the Quran.

Pukis continue to repeat 9/11 and aircrafts blowing plots were all contrived by Jews and Americans (sic) to malign islam. I am convinced this madrasa bombing is puki conspiracy (not NATO) to whip up more animosity towards the West.

Keep spreading it with gusto.

If the pukis are truly outraged as they posture why burn American flags? Return all the billions of dollars extorted along with F-16ssss. pukisthan is hurtling towards its own destruction as was foretold by Sri Aurobindo.
