Spencer on radio today

As expected, the conservative and liberal mainstream media blackout of my new book The Truth About Muhammad is in full swing, but there are still a few local shows that are not recoiling in terror from the issues the book raises (all the while loudly bragging about their fearlessness and rejection of political correctness).

Meanwhile, the fact is, most of those recoiling from the book will say that it is harmful to our prospects of dealing with moderate Muslims. Yet this is just the opposite of true. If Muslim reformers do not confront the elements of Islam that need reforming, most of which are detailed in this book, what is the point of their activity?

Today's schedule:

10 AM EDT: KMED "Bill Meyer"

2:25 PM EDT: "The Flipside with Don Crawford" CANCELED

3 PM EDT: "Doug Kellett" CANCELED

4:30 PM EDT: "Jerry Doyle"

5 PM EDT: WKCT "Drive Time with Roy Brassfield"

Glenn Beck has expressed an interest in Islam , just not the kind that comes from scripture.Kind of sad.

Robert you sure must be able to focus and drink lots of water to keep those radio interviews sounding so great. when will you do talk radio in the Detroit area? l keep sending stuff over to the two major talk stations, WJR and WDK, there is a big am talk radio across the river CKLW 800. we all need to keep sending emails to remind them of his great book(s). ps your BBC interview was on the mark!

Just a reminder to all, Robert gave a great performance on our podcast, Shire Network News. Head over to
http://tuatara.blogmatrix.com/:entry:tuatara-2006-10-15-0000/
and take a listen. Would be happy to hear any feedback on Robert or the other bits.

[We have a current issue with some of the images on our site which I hope is not related to a Jihad attack on my other site of http://www.friendsofmicronesia.com/ but I don't know yet. Everything else is working and you can still download the mp3 or play via the players on the site]

I heard Robert on Medved and was taken aback at Roberts confusion as to Mohammads bonifids as a true prophet of god.
I can asure you Mr Spencer Mohammad was never a prophet of god. Islam was a scheame to get revenge on his uncle for denying him his share in the kaba haj money, he felt he deserved but lost as he was orphened .Is just a scheame.

Kaosktrl:

You misunderstood me completely. I do not believe Muhammad was a prophet of God, and I was not confused about this on the Medved Show.

For me the big mystery is why our government, chattering classes, academics, military, and journalists are so cling to this chimerical "moderate" Islam. Whenever I hear that expression "moderate Islam" I think "cultural Muslims." Who are these people trying to fool? Are they doing this because they've been co-opted by Saudi money? Are they doing this because they are terrified of the implications if the truth is exposed? Are they afraid of having to undergo wrenching changes in their mind-set, not to mention their careers, if they are found out to be wrong?

I work as a securities' analyst. In my field a failure of due dilligence is inexcusable. One can make honest mistakes, but a failure to deeply investigate a company is not acceptable. The people we elect to protect the nation must be held to account for their failure of due dilligence. Our journalist community show similarly deficient investigative skills. Academics who refuse to follow the the evidence are frauds.

Mohammad...Prophet of God/Allah??? If you believe that, you are a muslim. I dont think Robert is a muslim and the last thing he is, is 'confused' about Mohammad...but I did not hear the show, so what do I know...

Well Mr. Spencer:

I hoped that you would have an answer to my question in the first post listed on the thread below.

Either you are refusing to answer such apparently inane questions, or you are not reading this thread being busy with other pressing matters; I will presume the latter.

I have read the article by Frida at
http://dir.salon.com/story/books/feature/2004/03/15/unger_3/index.html,

from:

http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/013588.php#comments

and wonder if you, Mr. Spencer, refuse to try or are have you simply given up on presenting your well researched material to George Bush?

My thoughts are that if the Saudi’s can be given access to our purblind “President,” then why not someone like yourself?

The headlines in various place toll with dismal news such as this one:

Bush backs off 'Islamic fascists'
Tones down war rhetoric to appease Muslim groups

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=51785

Sadly predictable. Very sad.

Between your silence and the pattern that I see being played out by the administration again, and again, and again, I am wondering about a great many things as you might well imagine.

Finally, may I at least suggest to you Mr. Spencer, that you try to deliver your message directly George if you have not already done so – he must hear it at least (I'm not sure if our Harvard boy in the White House can actually read).

If your message is rebuffed – we must know, should we not?

witness your statement of: (I'm not sure if our Harvard boy in the White House can actually read).

makes your whole assertion and logic out the window!
what ever you dislike about Bush, l am sure he can read, and was proven to have a higher IQ than John Kerry. but it is not how much eduation you have, degrees, but to be able to grasp at that how Western Culture now faces destruction at the hands of the death cult of 'islam". The PC liberal crowd of the John Kerry's still believe in the UN, getting to know what went wrong with Acmed's childlife, etc.
There are so many restrictions that the president has that he cannot unilateral call a spade a spade.
he tried that one on one of his speechs, calling Iran,Iraq, and N.Korea axis of evil, and look at the grief he got for that! of coursse the worst enemies he missed are China and its willing accomplice Russia.

witness your statement of: (I'm not sure if our Harvard boy in the White House can actually read).

makes your whole assertion and logic out the window...

In an odd way ZenaWarriorPrincess, I have to admire you.

If George Bush leads you to the bowels of hell, I have no doubt you will gladly and faithfully follow him there and would cheerfully snuggle up to the devil if George Bush told you to do it (unless of course he turned democrate on you)!

That's right Zena, wave your flag and remember -- it's party loyalty that counts; even if the head of the party were Stalin himself.

Just keep the appearances up. The bigger talk stars will notice. Neal Boortz might be a good one to start with. His base is Atlanta and he's supposedly a Libertarian. He was one of Zell Miller's employees. As such, he would be a good avenue to help get the word out.

God willing, of course.

Witness:

It is not so easy to get to George Bush. He is not the sort of man you can just walk up to and strike up a conversation. He has several billion reasons to listen to the Saudis and not to me.

Credit Man:

Boortz is a fine man. I was on his show last week.

I understand completely, there is only one reason that overshadows the billions of reasons to listen to the Saudis -- you are an American citizen and he should be representing you, not them.

Nevertheless, we have got to try even if its through the back door somehow.

Thanks for getting back to me.

All the best!

Brian of London - Thanks for the link ! Glad I caught Tom Paine's interview - next week they will continue with Robert's interview.

Mr. Spencer - Perhaps an audio clip of "Brian of London's" book recommendation is in order - I know I have a grin from ear to ear listening to it!

For my part, I encourage you to buy his latest book and any of his back catalogue, "The Truth about Muhammad" by Robert Spencer is a marvelously researched and scrupulously documented academic description of the life of Mohammed, drawing only on respected Muslim sources.

Despite this, it manages to read like a great novel.

It's got sex!

It's got violence!

It's got deception and magic!

It's just a pity that the implications of this are so serious for the world. Once again, buy the book even if you think you know it all - and you don't - you will be helping it climb up that Amazon sales chart and that is worth a few dollars on it's own.

To listen to this book recommendation go to this LINK and adjust the podcast marker (right hand box) for Snn65 as close to marker 19:07 through 19:51

witness a word of wisdom, Bush is not the devil, and you know are the evil ones, the followers of islam who blindly kill by loping heads, bombing and shooting civilians in the name of their allah. l never once said l totally agree with Bush, is that at this moment in time, the other half of the political country funded by George Soros, do not understand one fraction of the evils of islam as compared to Bush. ps l dont not follow anyone blindly, but l am a logical person, and can see the path ahead will be rough to keep our freedoms.

Well, one of two things is possible. First, the Pres. is not stupid and he can read, so why not send him a signed copy of “The Truth about Muhammad” on the house? Second, the Pres. is stupid and he cannot read, so why bother? Sure he has been weak on some issues compared to T.R. or Ike but compare his weaknesses to Carter or Clinton and he looks like the man of steel. Who knew 9-11 would occur and that afterward Oil prices would double, that some Americans would openly turn against their country, the NORKs would begin lobbing missiles and testing nukes, the Iranians would be threatening to invoke the end of the world and tens of millions of aliens would take this time of our distraction to swarm across our borders in search of a quick buck? And let’s not forget the muslims on rampages from one end of the globe to the other. And still he gets no respect! This man does care about Americans. Myself, an average run of the mill citizen, wrote him a letter and he actually read it and responded. It was not a form letter he responded with either, which really shocked me. So go ahead, send him your thoughts, prayers or ideas. What have you got to lose?

Bush...I keep telling you folks that Bush works in strange and mysterious ways. He does have a plan, but it's so good, he has kept it to himself for eight or more years....once he reveals his plan, everything will be A#1 ok...

FredIsinglass,

"For me the big mystery is why our government, chattering classes, academics, military, and journalists are so cling to this chimerical "moderate" Islam."

These elites you list do not operate in a vacuum. They thrive within a broader and deeper culture of PC, and millions of ordinary people share their views. The "mystery" is much larger and more complex than you think.

Robert:

I know you are going to be in Boston this weekend. Is it possible to get an interview on Talk Radio 96.9 who has a big following in this area and some great moderators like Mike Graham.
Here's hoping.

What I can not understand is why the President is not being honest about the threat from Shia Islam. The Shia in both Iran and Iraq are waiting for the 12th Imam.Sadr has stated he is ready to turn his army over to the Mahdi as soon as he shows up.Why is no one talking about the fact that they believe Baghdad must be destroyed before the so called Mahdi will return...It seems only Rick Santorum understands what we are facing from Shia Islam.

"what ever you dislike about Bush, l am sure he can read, and was proven to have a higher IQ than John Kerry."

This is correct and apparently the President has an ongoing contest with Mr. Rove to read the most books. The odds therefore that the president will read Robert's book are fairly good if he has a copy.

As far as audience with him...Robert's time is better spent doing what he's doing than sitting outside the ranch in Crawford.

Robert's time is better spent doing what he's doing than sitting outside the ranch in Crawford.

Yes indeed; and besides it is better to have our President courting the $audi Billion$ and spending his time with members of CAIR in the Oval office; than for the President to fritter away a singel moment listening to someone like Mr. Spencer and his educated ilk.

I also know someone who sends out the letters to citizens; they tell me that the automatic signature machine is a marvel!

,b>Bush officials mocked evangelical leaders behind their backs, alleging that in the office of political guru Karl Rove they were called "the nuts."

"National Christian leaders received hugs and smiles in person and then were dismissed behind their backs and described as 'ridiculous', 'out of control,' and just plain 'goofy,' " Kuo writes.

CAIR is obviously more rational that Christian whackos as far as George Bush is concerned.

George Bush identified himself as a born-again christian for political purposes only. Few people look behind the man at the synchophants he has chosen to give him warm fuzzies.
Just because Bush has a higher IQ than Kerry is no big deal. So does my cat.
Bush's denomination is a member of the World Council of Churches. That tells you where he is spiritually.
On the lighter side, his choice of Secretary of State have both been disasters. They might not have undone Madlyn Albright's,Jimmy Carter's, and Slick Willie's gift of nuclear power to North Korea, but they could have at least stood for something.
Their handling of the Middle East has been ludicrous at best. Russia has recently insinuated themselves into Lebanon in no small way with Muslim commando units, and our reaction is to give the Palestinians more weapons.
Practically every Muslim over the age of ten owns an AK-47. Isn't that enough?
