Only 18 years for capital murder. After all, the victim wasn't even a Muslim. And before you dismiss that fact as having anything to do with this verdict, recall that in Islamic law, punishments for killing non-Muslims are less than those set for killing Muslims. I read somewhere that after Jan Sobieskis victory at the Siege of Vienna in 1683, he asked other countries in Europe, like France and Russia to help him to restart the Crusades and conquer the Ottoman Empire and presumably re-Christianise it. Naturally France refused, and Russia was fighting a war with Sweden at that time. Just imagine had that come to fruition more than 300 years ago, when Christians made up a far higher percentage of the population in the Middle East and Turkey itself back then than now. Think of all the trouble that could have been saved later on. Greece could have been liberated 140 years earlier, and other Balkan countries almost 200 years earlier. Atrocities like 911, and many others carried out in the name of Islam might never have happened had Sobieskis vision come true.

The entire flock of Santoro consisted of a half-dozen elderly women, two or three of them Azeris. That was it. That was the danger he presented to the Muslims, and to Islam.

A. will probably be back out on the streets within 2 years after the storm dies down and will probably be lauded as a hero by other Muslims in the Turkish Prison system.Cold blooded and planned murder by a Muslim against a Christian Minister gets you only 18 years. Will this punk serve his full sentence? Probably not. He probably got this much time in order to not offend Western sensibilities-after all, Turkey's just dying to join the EU. In a couple of years he'll go free and probably get a pat on the back for a job well done.

She was also called a "white bitch" by the 19-year-old student during the fracas in Edinburgh. Tariq claimed self defence.
But Edinburgh Sheriff Roderick McLeod told him: "I cannot condone such a nasty attack on a middle aged woman, not in good health."
He ordered Tariq to pay £600 in fines and compensation

Boy, these jihadis sure are brave, kicking a sick woman in the face and shooting priests from behind. This must explain why anytime they're up against people with weapons facing them they always lose or sue for peace. Why a cowardly, miserable lot like this was ever put on this earth is something I will never fathom.

Who's next, a 5 year old child? I would be so ashamed if TALHA TARIQ was my son. to be more precise, there was a family (3 people) converted from islam to christianity living in harassment, a georgian woman that was orthodox christian but followed the catholic ritual because it was the only one available and one armenian.
In a TV show they interviewed some people of his "community", including possibly a couple of romanians.
Except the native ex-islam family, the rest seemed all immigrants, not so bound to settle there at all.

Trabzon was the site of some of the worst massacres of Armenians.
