The note, called Cohesion and Integration - A Briefing Note for the House (of Bishops), goes on to describe the government's approach to integration as "schizophrenic".
"One might argue that disaffection and separation is now greater than ever, with Muslim communities withdrawing further into a sense of victimhood, and other faith communities seriously concerned that the government has given signals that appear to encourage the notion of a privileged relationship with sections of the Muslim community," it says....

No, that's not true. They want to possess the West. They want to dominate, to take control of the Bilad al-kufr, the undifferentiated lands of the Infidels, wherever they may be. They want to live and off the West. They want to receive Jizyah if they do not have oil mooney, and regard it as a matter of right. And that is true not only for Muslim states and quasi-polities -- Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, the "Palestinians" (who describe, without irony, the ending of Western aid as "economic sanctions" as if they have a permanent right to such aid, such disguised Jizyah, for no good reason that anyone can quite come up with). It is also true for Muslims within the Infidel lands, who fiddle the system, who exploit to the fullest the generous benefits that the welfare states of Western Europe, those benefits created by and for, and with the money of, the Infidel taxpayers, paid in over generations, now offer -- and which are being run into the ground by Muslims, from the Paksitanis who receive their British benefits back in Pakistan, to all the others who live permanently on the dole within Europe. No, Muslims do want it have something to do with the West.
They want it -- all of it. Slowly, for some, more quickly, for others, but Islam must everywhere dominate, and everywhere Muslims must rule. It is in Qur'an and Hadith. It is what Muhammad said. It must be so. Allah (and Muhammad) know best.
Well, maybe the next step will be for the CofE to wakeup and recognize that it needs to be a Christian church after all.
If Muslims did dominate the west, what would they live off of? The west would regress to the barbaric conditions of the middle east.
I suspect that those members of the CofE who have to participate in inter-faith dialogue have long since learned that these things are a one sided conversation. Apart from those of them who are dazzled by the exoticism of it all or by any exaggerated attention, most will have noticed the supercilious and patronising attitude that Muslims hold towards other religions -when they have to be on their best behaviour, that is. They show what they really think when they are in a position to persecute them out of existence.
It looks as though the time when it was felt obligatory for all right minded citizens to tip-toe around Islam is passing. The Archbishop probably feels that he ought to show at least a modicum of solidarity with Pope Benedict and perhaps rank and file clergy can feel less guilty about their having uncharitable thoughts when it comes to contemplating Mohammednism.
As Wally says more or less that tip-toeing around Islam is passing. Haven't things come a long way in a very short time?

I have met Guy Wilkinson who wrote this document. I should think it is a viewpoint the Bishop of Rochester shares very clearly.
The British Government under Blair has been playing both sides of the street and trying to preserve its Muslim block vote, it started by removing all immigration controls in 1997 and has caused such a flood of trouble from Pakistan into England that it is self-evident that Labour has alienated its White voters.
The Church has played the multicultural game with the Bishop of Bradford even calling himself a spokesman for Muslims; thus has the Church of England flirted with its own destruction. It is very hard to think the Church of England can survive the death of a thousand cuts it has inflicted upojn England's National Church.
It is now that every institution starts to try to disown its past but it is not quite so easy. There are new political groupings emerging now that the Conservative Party decided to abandon its voters and form a cartel with the other political corporations.

This bunch is quite funny. They explode bombs in a subway yet they are victims! Gotta give them credit- they do integrate the PC concept of victimhood quite well into their philosophy.
Why should they integrate? They know that whatever they demand they will get it sooner or later. All they have to do is play the victim card and screech incessantly.
