My thoughts exactly. I grew up for a few years in Britain when I was a kid, and have wished to visit some of the people I knew when I was there. But just as I'd never dream of visiting Bangladesh, it's getting increasingly unlikely that I'd ever visit Britain again.

As Britain sees the true cost of allowing islam to run rampant they will regret letting their PC elite’s get them into this mess. So far ours have some power but it is increasing turning to the right. As much as we would like to see this end peacefully it will take violence to control islam. When I compare islamic history with the brief history of the USA we might just be violent enough to take the fight to them. It would be nice to have the rest of the world on our side but in truth it is not necessary. I see a few possible outcomes, we win and crush islam as a faith or they win and the USA becomes an Island to itself. We the people are still to individualistic to ever cave to islam. Our military has more combat proven troops since WWII and they know exactly how to speak to muslims. If the rest of the world doesn’t join us in this fight we will probably not be able to help them. The world is just too big and we are too few. We can become isolationists and survive but if we do it would speed the growth of islam everywhere. It reminds me of the motto from the highlander movies “there can be only one”. I don’t see a future with islam living alongside others peacefully. Based on their history only violence can contain islam. That just leaves us with when not if we fight a real all out war. I don’t know about the rest of you but I would gladly choose death over islam.

I guess I am a little confused why the PARENTS of these children didn't demand the teacher be fired...and failing that (school administrators being what they are), why they don't pull their children out of such an "educational institution". Also, if he is so short temmpered, and so hostile to all things British, shouldn't the school authorities be worried about his "going Jihad" on them someday?

Echoing Ronin and Infidel Pride (and strongly disagreeing with Mert in Heels from another thread), Britain is crossing the threshold from a dhimmi state to an Islamic state.

I recently passed a building sold and converted from a church to a university satellite after a church split. I used to go there, worship there, and tithe there. I have memories of the place, the vast majority pleasant. But had I known ahead of time the outcome, would I have contributed my time, efforts and resources to the place (outside of trying to prevent the split, all analogies break down), or would I rather have attended elsewhere (the ultimate outcome anyway). Would I have chosen to contribute to something more enduring, memories of which would not be soured by unpleasantries.

I won't be visiting Britain for the same reason. The writing has been on the wall for quite some time.

Well I'm in London on Thursday and Friday so I'll see the smouldering ruins of the Us Embassy in Grosvenor Square no doubt, and the bodies of dead Americans gutted along Oxford Street.

The pendulum will have to swing way over some more for the Brits to wake up. I'm fond of England, had been there many times, had an English girlfriend, but now been some years. What were punk kids with spiky hair at Kings Cross must now be turbaned pijamaed 'Asians', kind of changes the mood. A little grumbling from those old stiff upper lip Brits is about all for now. Would those be the same checks the security services will be using to vet those Muslim representatives to be handed a veto over raids on suspected terrorists? Recently I've watch clips of George Galloway on al-Jazeera whoring himself out and speaking like he's a damned muslim. I can't believe it?!? I read comments that other members of Parliment have made, read and see what Prince of Wales does and so on... then look at the photos of demonstrators in London... read the anecdotes of British posters here about the Cross of St. George, the conversion of Anglican churches to mosques and so on.
