"You Can Spy on the Enemies' Airports Directly by Controlling the Cameras' Direction"

Osama promised not long after 9/11 that many more planes would be falling out of the sky. And evidently jihadist planning is still going in that direction. "Mujahideen Gather Information on Anchorage International Airport," from MEMRI, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

On October 17, 2006, an Islamist website posted a message titled "You Can Spy on the Enemies' Airports Directly by Controlling the Cameras' Direction." The message contains a link to a screen showing what it claims to be a live view of various areas within Anchorage International Airport via several cameras (http://209.193.48.89/view/index.shtml ). The message gives directions for how to control the cameras and promises to provide links in the future for other airports as well.

These are screenshots from the five sources: North View, South Terminal, Lake Hood, Cargo Area View, and Quad Stream.

You can bypass security by having muslims work the ramp .

The most effective way to counter this strategy would be 1-)prohibit Muslims from working at US airports in ANY capacity (or, if that proves politically impossible, at least place them under constant surveillence when they are working at the airports...and by the way Muslims working on the ramps could be security hazards there too).

2-)Prohibit non-UScitizen Muslims from traveling on US soil (especially by plane and that will mean the government will need to routinely obtain lists of Muslim airpassengers from other countries whoseairlines travel through the US). The Muslims already here (presumably, but not necessarily, legally) will simply have to be watched carefully when they travel by air.

A curious thing occurred while I was in line at the carry on baggage screening at the Albuquerque airport recently. There was a middle eastern man and woman standing there watching everyone go through the screening process but they themselves did not go through. I reported them to security and they said they would investigate. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?

When I read things like this, I worry that no one is doing anything about it or if it gets reported. I am always compelled to forward such things on to the FBI, which I did. We keep hearing, be vigilant and report anything suspicious...so...little me keeps sending things off to the FBI and Scotland Yard...I've even spoken Scotland Yard by phone once, after which I thought I might have made a foolish call but a couple of weeks later, the man I telephoned about was arrested. It all came about from a chat room and a person was scared of a Muslim that lived near him and he gave me the information and the name...I reported him. I can't say enough about reporting someone. If it turns out to be not serious...well that is okay but if it is serious, then it is excellent that it was reported. We are told to do it, so we must. We must because it may save lives.

How do you know they were "middle eastern"? You must be a racist!

Of course, I'm being sarcastic. For our rational self-defense, we must integrate racial factors as one element -- not the only element -- of our profiling methodology, as you yourself have done.

Anyone interested can read essays on my blog on this:

If true, what sort of idiot puts security infrastructure on a publicly accessible network? If you must permit remote access, at least only permit it across an encrypted point-to-point link or an encrypted VPN. You must be physically present at either end of the communications tunnel, no exceptions. Still won't stop Islamic infiltrators, that requires a different solution.

Why "politically impossible"? How hard will it be to refuse to keep employing people who must, for obvous reasons, if allowed to continue working at airports, do so only if kept "under constant surveillance" at great expense, and increased danger, to all of us? Will that prove "politically impossible"? Perhaps now, but not for long.

Yet another example of how Islamaniacs probably have a different brain structure from normal people. Normal people spent years trying to make flying as safe as possible while the Islamaniacs work toward making it more deadly. Normal people attempt to create good things, Islamaniacs destroy whatever and whenever they can.

We all know how muslims love to work at airports. They gravitate towards those places like flies to poo.

Most are male, and under the age of 45. Most are recent immigrants. All are muslim. None go through security. All are waiting for circumstances to push them to make a stand for allah.

The government puts police officers with machine guns into the airports to strut around the terminals, as eye candy, just as if they expect a shoot out at the O K corral. Terrorists usually use a more surreptitious approach.

And they can.

Terrorists, i.e. muslim men, are working as ramp rats, loading baggage, cleaning the cabins, emptying the lavs, and any of them could, if they desire, plant a bomb, a gun, or a knife in any of those planes.

I should know because I worked in those jobs. There was no security. The security was for the passengers, not for the employees. The employees were never searched for anything. They had run of the shop.

There were times that I would go eat my lunch in the pilot's seat just for fun. Nobody was around, the plane was empty, the cockpit doors were open. Once I inserted an empty water bottle underneath the captains seat as a test. Two weeks later, I went back to that same aircraft, and it was still there. That water bottle came from home with me. It never went through security.

There is no security at airports if you work there. The whole thing runs on the honor system.

An honor system staffed by thousands of muslims. In America.

August 22-

Wonderful. I'm glad I went to Hawaii 2 years ago. Hearing this from a former insider before making that trip would have made me have second thoughts about making such a trip at all.
Damn, those bastards win again!

Okay, the Anchorage Airport must have reset their video server, and not entered in a new password, as the Video Server will default to: username: root
password: pass

If someone knows anyone who works at the Anchorage International Airport, please tell them to change their username and password.

So, it's not like the Jihazis are doing anything ground-breakingly new, they're just using our lapses in common sense security against us...

Hugh: by 'politically impossible' I meant that there are some US politicians who would almost certainly vote to block passage of legislation that would make it possible to bar Muslims from being hired and employed at sensitive US locations like airports under the mistaken notion that this would constitute 'discrimination.' (Nancy Pelosi comes to mind).

If the Democrats grab political control of the Congress and Senate next month this will almost certainly prove the case, I think.

I personally think it is very important that Muslims be barred from working in airports in the US. But I have doubts that political considerations will permit that to happen soon.

But, we'll see.

"herself: I can't say enough about reporting someone."

I also reported a suspicious person, and was surprised to find out that the FBI had actually followed up and was monitoring him. They do listen to us. That's encouraging, in a small way.

Hugh asks impatiently Why "politically impossible"?

We Jihad Watchers hold these truths to be self-evident. The millions outside our bubble do not.

It took me a while but I made sure all of the radio stations and TV news had this story in Anchorage.

They had not heard about this yet.

Being in Anchorage I can guarentee 'their here too'.

alaskan1000,

Thanks for doing your part in the war on terrorism!

Also, what do you mean, "they're here too?" Are you seeing an unusual influx of Muslims in your area, and If so, when did you notice this?

I never would have thought they'd be up there! What, with the GIANT mosquitos and the wicked snow storms...
