Excellent letter! This is the way to write effectively when dealing with big corporations. Avoid any invective and keep the letter completely positive.

Hopefully the muslims will boycott US Air. Hopefully the muslims will boycott ALL American carriers. That would make them the safest in the world..

I have contacted US Airways' Customer Relations through an email, thanking them for placing the security of the rest of the flight over the demands of six imams. We must praise those who protect us and damn those who sell us out.

this seems a very fair and reasonable letter.
the imams think that we should know about 'the prayers', but not that they should know that suddenly standing up behind another passenger and intoning the name of allah could cause considerable alarm.
it would not have been surprising if a passenger, fearing a knife to the throat, had reacted swiftly and violently. i think i might have done so.

Ditto on the email of support. We should all express appreciation for a good corporate decision. Maybe they'll keep on taking the threat of Muslim fanaticsim seriously.

It is good to phone and email with positive comments because you can be sure that CAIR, etc., have rallied their letter-writers and callers.

Good call, DK. I suspected as much the minute I heard the report. A deliberate attempt to goad the passengers and authorities into a response which could then in turn be used as a political weapon against us. Shame on us for being aware of the dangers inherent in Islam, and for having the courage to act when we see suspicious behavior from it's adherents. Hopefully the ruse will backfire on the deceitful imams.

You actions are renewing my confidence in the safety of air travel and I will gladly book my future travel through your airline.

Please do not issue any phony apologies or make your employees undergo "sensitivity training" or I - FOR ONE - will be gone from your future customer list forever.

You have 5 or 6 million potential moslem customers in this country - you have nearly 300 million whom you can count on to not be a threat to the safety of your planes your crew and their fellow travellers.

I promise I am not alone in these sentiments.

I am even considering spending some money to buy stock for the very first time in my life. I am seriously considering buying stock in a patriotic little airline that could.. US AIR.

AIG.. I saw you mentioned BBs in Germany that discussed the jihadist situation. Would you kindly post one or two of them on here? I'd like to see what schenagigans those wayward countrymen of mine are up to. Maybe I can reason with a few of them.

Most Americans I have spoken with see this for what it is.
An attempt to make special conscessions for one group. And to ruin Thanksgiving and Christmas for Americans.
Average people are asking questions like "What did they do in the past when they had to travel at 'prayer time' and why now?"
Another one is "if they call themselves 'Scholars, how come they haven't learned the basic rules of the road for living in a free society?"
Americans are not as dumb as they think we are. The comment that this free speech stuff is so much a part of us that "even small children here understand that free speech doesn't extend to yelling 'fire' in a crowded theater, is something I have heard from people who don't usually pay much attention to the news.
I think CAIR overplayed their hand in asking for a 'Congressional review'. Dead giveaway.
Letters to our Congressmen are also needed.

Well I wonder why they never thought of catching a plane at a different time? That way they would not impose on other people. But that is what they are all about offending arent they. This is a way for them to get our defences down so they can do the real thing. Blow up the plane next time!
Next time this happens we should start a hand holding circle and start praying right there ask them to hold hands with us the women too. Pray to the Lord to stop the violence and the hate. They would probably try to kill you. Also if they insist on doing this in public we need to start to do it too. Outdoor prayer rally's.
Another form of protest would be for us to show up at the airport with ski masks on and tell them that it is our right to wear whatever we want and that it is thier paranoya that makes them feel unsafe and it is reverse prejustice people who ski are not nessasarily killers!
I think the time to stop all this crap is now. People are slowly coming out of their coma and we need to fight back and not with just a few letters (but send them as well) I mean rallys and protests. Boycott all Islamic nations untill they say sorry and hand over all the criminals they are quitely hiding and supporting.
Lastly this Ibrahim Hooper must be exposed as a pearson that is unwilling to support our war against terrorist, but lays the ground work for them here in North America.
