EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (AP) — A mental patient who threatened to castrate President Bush was sentenced to federal prison, but a judge ordered him freed because of time he's already served.Arafat Nijmeh, 27, formerly of Belleville, was sentenced Tuesday to seven months in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of threatening the president.
He was released after U.S. District Judge David Herndon credited him with the eight months he spent in custody after being charged. Nijmeh had been jailed without bail after being declared a flight risk and threat to society....
Nijmeh was accused of threatening to harm Bush in comments March 18 to workers at the Alton Mental Health Center and to two Secret Service agents the following day.
The indictment alleged Nijmeh told the agents that his earlier threat to castrate Bush was "not too harsh, considering what he has done to my country."
Nijmeh is a Palestinian born in Israel but O'Gara said he is a U.S. citizen....
Brooks said Nijmeh also told a supervisory nurse at the center he was going to "make her life a living hell" and threatened to kill Jews.

He is a naturalized citizen. Therefore he had to take an oath. He had to swear to certain things. Revisit that oath. Revisit that naturalization. Congress could take the lead. His citizenship should be stripped, and he promptly -- not after endless appeals -- be deported. Where to? I suggest Gaza. It's wonderful at any time of year.

That's easy. Just be English. They give them the HARDEST time ever. I have an English friend on FREAKING WALL STREET. Meaning he is hard-working, productive and intelligent. I disagree with you. I think the whole belief-system is a collective mental illness. I think we are dealing with a collective psychosis. I think the clowns on U.S. Air, crawling in the isles looking for Mecca, the guy who wrote to Robert this morning, the Nut-In-Iran, the CAIR crowd, Mr. Captain Hook in London (if I looked like him, I too would be a Muslim), Ibrahim Bizarre Hooper, the whole crowd is like a scene out of the movie One Flew Over the Coo-Coo's Nest. I think we have to call this belief-system what it is: it is a mental illness.
Someday my view on this will become main stream. People who threaten to kill non-believers, who insist that only their belief-system is true, etc., are crazy.

I understand, and even sympathize with, those who, such as "Frank" above, think that True Believers in Islam should be considered "mentally ill." But clearly there are those who are born into Islam, through no fault of their own, and choose to go through an outward show, all the while either ignoring or questioning or beginning to question the belief-system. Even when Wafa Sultan was a Muslim, I don't think she was "mentally ill." I don't think Ali Sina or Ibn Warraq or Ayaan Hirsi Ali were mentally ill when they still considered themselves Muslims. It's a complicated thing.
Were all those who swore allegiance to Adolf Hitler to be excused as "mentally ill"? Were all those who would have given their lives for Joseph Stalin, and who wept when he died in March of 1953 -- tens of millions all over Russia -- "mentally ill" or thoroughly brainwashed?
One could go on. Are those who believe in the End of Days, or the prognostications of Nostradamus, "mentally ill"?

I found him on a streaming TV station in the country Bahrain speaking to a large group of Muslim leaders, as well as the link above.
He is a German, and a Muslim, which....no big deal,
But the rhetoric is extremely interesting.
He is a Harvard grad, and his message is that the
God less secular west....USA etc who caused ww2 WW1, Stalin ism, sexual depravity, and more....has now targeted Islam.
He preaches that the Muslims have no choice but to advance globally, or they will be eliminated.
He says that the west has totally abandoned God, and if allowed to live they will forbid Allah etc etc.
He also says that the only hope is to convert or destroy the west. If conversion is possible it can only happen by way of the Liberal or Progressive American.
Now, I'm not skilled in cyphering all this krap, but it seems to me that the guy is a provocateur, who is filling the Muslim world with as much fear of the west as the west has for them right now.
It wouldn't arouse my conspiracy ilk so much, but, he's no dummy, and he is no Arab.
Has any one heard of him before, and if so, how does he figure in all this mess.
