Across the pond, the man who will in all likelyhood be our next prime minister wants to make criticism of religion illegal:

On the flipside, perhaps such legislation will enable us to bring prosecutions against those who preach from the vicious and evil Qur'an (and ahaddith, fiqh etc)...

Ironic, that this would come out on the Marines Birthday, November 10th, and Veterans Day, today. Our dead armed forces vets must be spinning in their graves.

I went to sleep last night very depressed.

We now have a Hamas judge in Michigan.
Cedar Rapids Iowa has welcomed CAIR with open arms.
We have "Dearbornistan".

I have been reading books and watching DVD's.
With all of the information published, most of the population still doesn't have a clue.

I share the information with those who will listen. However, there are many people who say, "What!! The United States will never fall. We're too great a country. The United States will never go down".

Everyone better start praying for another 9/11, because if we don't get it, we are more likely to be erroded away from within, slowly, steadily and completely.

How much of a jump is it for a few million Catholic Mexican illegals to become Islamic? (Heavily patriarchal society, ..."machismo"...lots of babies...I've already heard the news that Islam is taking hold in Mexico, as it is.) What about Mexican Islamic "reverts" + "Dearbornistan" lobbying in Congress + Democrat moonbats in charge? What about our borders remaining so open that we can't tell a Mexican from an Arab from a convict from a school teacher?

What about CAIR getting preferential treatment out of the continuing insanity gripping the United States: our own self-loathing and deprecation and sedition. Do you see the writing on the wall like I do?

These are perilous times we are living in. I'm truly afraid for the future of the United States. The entire thing could crumble around us in my own lifetime at this rate.

So, what do we do about it? If Americans aren't given good excuse to fight war, we allow ourselves to be usurped. We are proving this more and more with each passing decade.

God help us, but if we don't learn to build walls, say no to more visas, speak one language and keep Islam out of our government at the very least, and out of our nation at the very best, then we are screwed every which way but sideways.

Example: Nancy Pelosi -- Speaker of the House. The woman is certifiably insane. One look at her and I can tell you that.

We are not dead yet. There are all kinds of things we can do behind the scenes and under the radar to undermine the Islamic movement, just like they have done to us. We just have to think about it. We could pay close attention to anyone who goes up against these guys and then threatens to remove people who stand up for our values when a Muslim gets their feelings hurt. Brigitte Gabriel says it only takes 50 people contacting their elected officials to make that elected official stand up, take notice, and do something about it. And after this past Tuesday's election, there have got to be a lot of politicians out there who understand that the American people can vote them in and we can also vote them out.

This is a great time while it's fresh in everyone's memory to take a stand, and let our voices be heard. We think we have no power but we do. The Muslims want us to think we have no power, BUT WE DO. We need to stand up for him, pitch a bloody fit and let our elected officials know that we will not put up with them selling us out to Islamic special interest groups and that if these groups try to remove representatives that truly represent the American people, we will come down on them like a ton of bricks. Time to turn these tactics right back at 'em!

The Democrats are not so entrenched in their new positions of power that they can't be blown out of the water in two years. Something for them (and us ) to think about.

When I saw the senate and the house go down to the democrats I cringed because I knew what was going to happen that goes way beyond whether you support the war in Iraq or not.

The clear mistake too many Americans made in this election is that they cast their vote on the weight of one issue and one only for the most part; the Iraq War.

Not only will we be perceived as weak if we are forced to cut and run from the Iraq war by the Islamists if the majority congress refuses to support the war effort, but that the left wingers will pander to the Muslims without a clue of how they are determined to undermine the security of the United States.

Representative Conyers has already called for the impeachment of President Bush, and in the past year and a half he has tried to pass House Resolution 288 in the house that would practically make it a crime to criticize the Islamic religion which was discussed at length on JIHADWATCH/DHIMMIWATCH. Timing of Saddam Husain court verdict in Iraq; just two days before the election and extensively high lighting of sentencing of ‘would-be Al-Qaeda executioner’ in UK; were very skill fully floated as additional opinion harvesters but all… in vain. In order to save the day; many a websites supported by conservative; also remained extensively busy in propagating the Neocons ideology. They are designed to spread misinformation and are instigating people to rabble rouse against Muslims living in the western society.

Ever since the collapse and departure of Soviet Union from world’s scene; USA being the lone super power is busy with their adventure of greater scheme known as ‘Project for New American century’. It is to avail US hegemony in Middle East and to bring the area of world economic resources in American fold by means of force; It is taking the world for a big ride and an all out war in the name of ‘Global war on terror’ is declared. Israel is placed here, to be a ‘resident western agent’, bullying around and engineering the webs of deceit on behalf of US. An archaic and savage exercise of subjugation and emasculation of the inhabitants and their rulers is relentlessly on.

It is very much evident now that Iraq was attacked on a false pertinence. US forces are on their rampage there and are in its continuous occupation; on very flimsy grounds. The plan of ‘Global war on terror’ is very tactfully induced in war theatre through a well measured scheme of ‘Nihilism’ by the think tanks of the campaign. It is very complex and well spread for common folks to understand,

General public is kept in the dark, scared and fearful all the times, through the magic of media. I have already dropped a line to my Rep explaining my serious concerns on this issue. I finished the letter asking him how he feels about this. Will he feel safe in Congress? What if the worst does occur? How does he think Reps from other states will respond if something linked to this group happens? If I were a sitting Congressman I would not be happy. Con-yers is furiously working towards the next era of slavery for his people. It is time to take a good look at these so-called constituents, and label them what they are. This ideology cuts the heads off teenage girls for trophies. Some in this country have aligned themselves with this vermin. Knowing this, no one needs to tell me what side to take. It is an easy decision for real men, real Americans, to make. You won’t find many, if any, in that gang with the guts to do what is right. Boycott any goods or services that come from these states. Never travel through, vacation or even relieve yourself anywhere in these states. They have two years to show us they are not islamopologists, but don’t hold your breath, they are already showing us their true colors.

About the hispanic population turning Muslim, I grew up with a lot of kids of Mexican descent in Southern California. In my business, I have worked with a lot of hispanic folks and have seen the difference between them and Muslim clients. I'd say 99% of the hispanics are sincere, pleasant, friendly, very family oriented, polite, hardworking and they have no guile. They are considerate of other people's feelings. The Muslims I've seen in my business can pull off polite but if there is something they want, they will not hesitate to pressure, cajole or harass other folks into doing it their way. These traits come from upbringing, culture and religious influence.

We should not mistake regular hispanic citizens for the La Raza crowd who seek to insight illegal aliens and revolutionists to take back the western part of the US, named Azatlan. Also remember the Blessed Mother as Our Lady of Guadalupe is the most revered saint in Mexico. Interestingly, Guadalupe is an Arabic name for a river in Spain which means "wolf river". It is also interesting that Our Lady of Guadalupe's picture shows her standing in front of the sun, to indicate that she is greater that the sun god, and that she is standing on a crescent, to show that she will crush Islam.

Within 3 1/2 years of Our Lady being introduced to the indians in what is now Mexico, all human sacrifice effectively stopped. Surely there can be a right-left consensus for (1) upholding the Constitution and due process (2) protecting liberty and progress and (3) opposing the ideology of Islam because it threatens (1) and (2).

If we dont want a war in the streets with islamic fanatics blowing up all over the place we need to do MORE searches of people in airports etc. You dont have to be rude about it but search them anyway, even pleasantly with a smile. After all WE are the good guys.

I am so tired of hearing what a big deal 9-11 was.

Muslims and Catholics

The Koran infers that Allah inspired the Bible, though it alleges that Jews and Christians have since corrupted the text.[15] Also, it is interesting to note that both Islam and the Roman Catholic Church believe that Allah and the God of the Bible are the same. Quoting from the Catholic Catechism we read:

The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.[16]

How will the Muslims be included in this “plan of salvation”? Could the apparitions that perform numerous signs and wonders, impact Catholics and Muslims who worship the same God? Could they possibly unite on this basis?

Insight from the influential Catholic priest Father Malachi Martin, in his best-selling book, The Keys of this Blood, may help answer these questions:

In reckoning the future of Islam, Pope Paul takes into account that as a genuinely religious faith, it preserves certain fundamental truths that the Holy Spirit reveals to all people of good will; and that, in God’s providence, Islam can be a threshold from which its adherents can be prepared to accept the only historical revelation made by God in this world. There will come a day, John Paul believes, when the heart of Islam – already attuned to the figures of Christ and of Christ’s Mother, Mary – will receive the illumination it needs. In the meantime, the Pontiff knows that Islam will stand against him and his church and his geopolitical vision.[17]

Mary, Queen of Muslims

The late Archbishop Fulton Sheen, who reached millions of viewers through his television series, believed that it would be Mary who would cause Muslims to convert to Christianity and unite under the Roman Catholic Church. In Sheen’s book, The World’s First Love – Mary, Mother of God, he comes to some startling conclusions concerning the future of Islam. In his chapter entitled Mary and the Moslems Sheen writes:

At the present time, the hatred of the Moslem countries against the West is becoming a hatred against Christianity itself. Although the statesmen have not yet taken it into account, there is still grave danger that the temporal power of Islam may return and, with it, the menace that it may shake off a West that has ceased to be Christian and affirm itself as a great anti-Christian world power... [However,] It is our firm belief that the fears some entertain concerning the Moslems are not to be realized, but that Islam, instead, will eventually be converted to Christianity – and in a way that even some of our missionaries never suspect. It is our belief that this will happen not through the direct teaching of Christianity but through a summoning of the Moslems to a veneration of the Mother of God… Missionaries in the future will, more and more, see that their apostolate among the Moslems will be successful in the measure that they preach Our Lady of Fatima.[18]

Louis de Montfort is considered by many as the greatest Marian evangelist of all time. Canonized as a Catholic Saint in 1947, Montfort made the following last day’s prediction:

The power of Mary over all devils will be particularly outstanding in the last period of time. She will extend the Kingdom of Christ over the idolators and Moslems, and there will come a glorious era in which Mary will be ruler and queen of human hearts.[19]

Catholic Saint Mary of Agreda – a visionary who received numerous messages from the apparition of Mary during the 17th century – wrote the massive classic entitled Mystical City of God. Her received Marian messages and her monumental book have received full approval from the Roman Catholic Church. Saint Mary of Agreda conveyed what was told to her about the last times:

Before the Second Coming of Christ, Mary must, more than ever, shine in mercy, might and grace in order to bring unbelievers into the Catholic Faith. The powers of Mary in the last times over demons will be very conspicuous. Mary will extend the reign of Christ over the heathens and Mohammedans, and it will be a time of great joy when Mary, as Mistress and Queen of Hearts is enthroned.[20]

Muslims venerate Mary

Today, an increasing number of Muslims make pilgrimages to Marian shrines. Arguably, the most popular apparition site that Muslims visit is the shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal. Fatima was said to be Mohammad’s favorite daughter. Furthermore, Mohammad reportedly stated that Fatima has the highest place in heaven after the Virgin Mary.

The popular Catholic spokesman Archbishop Fulton Sheen believed that the “Blessed Virgin” chose to be known as “Our Lady of Fatima” as a pledge and a sign of hope to the Moslem people and as an assurance that they, who show her so much respect, will one day accept her Divine Son, too.[21]

Fatima may be the most famous Marian shrine where Muslims go to pray and pay homage to the Queen of Heaven, yet Fatima is hardly unique. In 2004, Reuters News Service wrote, in an article entitled Twist of globalization: All faiths come together, that Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims and other pilgrims regularly worship at famous Roman Catholic shrines to the Virgin Mary. They drink holy water, light votive candles, and pray fervently to the Madonna. The article explains that many pilgrims venerate her like one of their own goddesses.[22]

Furthermore, in recent years apparitions of Mary have been reported in several Muslim nations including Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Turkey, and others. Veneration has increased as more and more claim that they have experienced a miracle at a Marian shrine.

Will the world, and in particular Muslims, soon receive the illumination that they need to unite under the Queen’s mantle? Fulton Sheen, in his chapter Mary and the Moslems, points to the Miracle of the Sun as the possible enlightenment that the apparition will use:

On October 13, 1917, believers and unbelievers prostrated themselves upon the ground during the Miracle of the Sun, most of them pleading to God for mercy and forgiveness. That whirling sun, which spun like a giant wheel and thrust itself to the earth as if it would burn it with its rays, may have been the harbinger of a world spectacle that will draw millions to their knees in a rebirth of faith. And as Mary revealed herself in that first Miracle of the Sun, so may we look forward to another revelation of her power when the world has its next rehearsal for the Dies Irae [Day of Wrath].[23]

Have you people who are so critical about our President ever stopped to think that maybe he refers to Islam as the Religion of Peace so as to not tip off the enemy, i.e. Keep your friends close but your enemy closer? I know that people are angry and frustrated, so am I. I really don’t think that our President is blind or dumb to the actual enemy “Islam”.

Clinton certainly didn’t even remotely recognize the enemy…. Was to worried about playing “Hide the Havana” with that Tart Monica Lewinski. When attacks did happen he either treated it like a law enforcement problem or he arbitrarily lobbed a couple of missiles. Hardly effective if you asked me.

I remember Martin Sheen publicly commenting about the Reagan Administration that "I don't see any leadership here. Only yielding to wealth and power.

Well, too bad Mr. Sheen never figured on the left-wing operating in the same way. Because it does as I now can see. The leftists are bought the same way the right wing can be. And as we now see, the left is by far the more dangerous of the two. Islam is neither left or right--it is simply evil and will destroy America by its own agenda. Reality never breaks down into right or left; the nature of good and evil defies such explanations and clinging to these since they are inherently false is to cling to disaster.

I understand Nancy Pelosi is worth over US $1 billion, and can buy her way into anything. But all that money CAN'T buy her the common sense she so glaringly lacks and it won't get it into her head if it could buy it. Nothing can.

Ms. Pelosi needs to understand something with regards to Islam. If someone could only get her to listen. The same is true of the world in general. Islam is institutionalized murder, and has committed hundreds of millions of murders across 14 blood-soaked centuries of human history. The massacres are staggering: Egypt, Byzantium and Asia Minor, Greece, Armenia, Hindustan and the remainder of the Indian subcontinent, Yugoslavia, Chechnya, Biafra, Assyria, Sudan, etc. Will America be next on the list?

Though I don't make a habit of detailing my wiley nature very often, I am impressed enough by a few posters above (i.e. Isabellathecrusader) that I can see perhaps I've gone too far with my declarations.

Don't worry -- I'm not about to give up the fight and I'm especially hopeful that none of you will either. But sometimes it's important to put into stark perspective the things that dramatically confront us, so that it's like an ironclad that can't be denied passage through the channel -- we have to see things at their worst before we are moved to make them better.

The worst that the future holds for the United States is a complete flip flop of our image as a nation by a "silent invasion" from Mexico and Cuba that also coincides with a deliberate attacks both blatant and covert from the Islamic community. We can not hope to continue fighting these threats with just words for that much longer -- action must be taken. Islam must be outlawed. Border fencing must be built. Enemies must be rounded up, deported, jailed, or killed. It's going to be a rough road or it will be no road at all.

I say things sometimes in a manner that's guaranteed to piss people off. That's good. Living in a bubble for too long only means that bubble is bound to burst. Let's get beyond the Politically Correct nonsense that's paralyzed America for the past twenty years and the Anarchist dreams of groups like CAIR and MoveOn.org and understand that those of us in the center and on the right (the Americans that still bleed red, white and blue) have a job to do, and that we're going to have tough choices to make in the coming years and decades, and foremost among those choices will be: do we give up or do we take back?

This is a time to educate them, not attack them. Democrats are naïve. They receive their news from the same media sources that never informs them about what they need to know. Please, stop being so fatalistic about their victory. It was not a real democratic victory anyway, rather, it was a Republican defeat brought on by the disastrous Iraq war. Another problem of the republicans is that they conflated social issues such as stem cells, gay marriage and abortion (things that have nothing whatever to do with the war with “radical Islam”) with the “war on terror.” That divisiveness is what got us here in the first place. We must remind them that our enemy is watching carefully.

I've touched on this on another post but it bears saying again. The people of Minnesota and Michigan and obviously now California must begin to pay very close attention to what is going on right under thier noses.

Those of you that have said the american people don't believe that our country's politics could ever be undermined by those seeking to rule by a religion instead of our laws are right. This IS the extremists plan and they are very patient, and they are here already. CAIR had a plan to get a supporter into Congress and they did, they have a very vocal supporter in Micigans judiciary, and they have 2 of the most radical left politicians in Pelosi and Conyers, although I do believe Pelosi is just too ignorant and/or arrogant to realize it.

Each and everone of us has a voice, we must start to use that to our advantage. The bad guys think we americans are stupid, they don't know what we know....our history and history can repeat itself in very many ways. We cannot stand by and complain amongst ourselves, it serves no purpose, find out who your rep's in Senate and Congress are. Find out where they stand on issues, each one has a web site listing those issues. Call them, write them complain to them.

They work for us, if you don't let them know where you stand how do you expect them to listen? Write an editorial piece for your local newspaper. Do you have any idea how many people read those? Living in Mr. Conyers backyard, I have watched with amazement and embarrassment how bad it gets. When he opens his mouth, he sounds like a drunk. He is one of those "election-proof" wonders--whose constituency basks in the awe of a black man with such high ranking--he can do ANYTHING without accountability and DOES it.

Head of the Judiciary Committee--look at the record--Conyers:
*Is/as on record as ooposing the impeachment of Clinton for perjuring himself under oath and his private inspection of Monica Lewinsky.

*Forced his staff to perform illegal acts in campaigning for John Kerry on taxpayer time and expense. This was somewhat publicized, but never answered or accounted for.

*Made his staff workers baby-sit for his children and other such non-sense at taxpayer expense--all the while he would be moralizing about republican ethics. When he was asked about this recently on a radio interview, rather than answer the question, he just hung up the phone (ala Harry the body Reid).

No one calls this man to account--he has gotten a free pass so far. I sure as h_ll hope JW regulars will demand his resignation from the congress as you will learn more and more of the hypocrite this man is--to head up the Judiciary committee-can't think of anyone less qualified than Conyers.

Perhaps Debbie Schlussel will roll out the recent logs of what this man has done that is documented--he must be shown for who he is--a hypocritical moralizing, muslim-a__ kissing moron.

I live in Minnesota. The District that elected Keith Ellison is District 5 - The most Libral district in the state which encompasses Minneapolis and some of the surrounding suburbs. Thank God I don't live in this District.

The News Paper "Minneapolis Star & Tribune" is very very libral. Bill O'Reilly has even commented on this paper on his program. The polical coverage for the past election was so left leaning that I don't believe that the paper even scratched the surface of Keith Ellison's affiliations - Local Blogs did, Captain's Quarter and Power Line did though. Incidently, Amy Klobuchar's Father worked for this Paper for years so you can imagine their coverage of her GAG.

I saw a program on the TV the other day, there was this big crab...well protected it was..by it's hard shell, with its ability to move quickly, ability to walk forward, backward... swim. It had a formidabale weapon in the shape of it's giant claw, etc...in short..you don't want to mess with this guy, ...a very able creature of Allah SWT.

Then I saw it being attacked by red ants...small and not much of a match against this huge crab. It tried to move away, and just brushed off the ants....but they persevered.

They could not attack through the hard shell but went for the joints...and the mouth and eyes...the softer parts if you will.

10s of them made a small bite count...eventually ripping through tendons and muscle that kept the crab mobile.

1st the ants managed to disabled one leg, then another ...and another etc. The crab ... squirmed...and tried to move but could no longer keep the ants off him...and was eaten alive ...from inside out.

Some ants took "prize" bits of booty away to their nest to feed the queen.

Anyway, I watched this scene with a horrific morbid fascination...and it suddenly dawned on me..."This is exactly how the Amerike will fall", I said to myself.

The analogy is amazing, the Amekerie is a formidable nation...and no-nation stands a chance against it from the outside or against its huge weapon(s). The armour and the big weapon of the crab is just like the Amerike...something you are all very proud of..."something that cannot be beaten" you fools keep on saying.

But look at what happened...the crab relied on certain mechanisms, certain fibres and tendons that it just had to have without which it was powerless to use it's formidable weapons.

For the Amerike these certain fibres and tendons are congress and the senate..key institutions without which the Amerike cannot move or function.

Disable these and the Amerkie can have all the big weapons...but it is powerless to fire them.

This is how the Amerike will fall...Pelosi and Canyon are the 1st explorer ants...making those little cuts...(passing those little reforms) to your tendons ...to allow reinforcements ...100s and thousands of them ...slowly cutting and loosening the muscle and fibre your forefathers took so much time to build.

I'll be sleeping very tight tonight. I've got the biggest can of Raid Ant Spray that you've ever seen. One squirt and all those little guys just drop dead and then blow away in the wind. When you see ants you follow them to their source and then spray the living daylights out of them there. Voila! No more ants in that ant hill. The trick with ants though is you have to be vigilant, because they can come in when you least expect it. Keep your can of spray close and watch. If everyone here keeps an eye on their yard and their neighbors yards and spray when those little buggers rear their ugly heads, they won't be able to get a foothold. If you happen to be walking on your property and come upon a hill that you weren't aware of, get a shovel, open it up and spray it! If everyone here would tend to their yard and the surrounding neighbors yards and warn all our friends, family and neighbors about the ant problem, and make sure they know where to get Raid Ant Spray (try your local Home Depot) and get some we could lick this problem and get it completely under control in a rather short time.

People, you need to think outside the square and stop all this introspective hand-wringing. Look again at what happened to the Florida Congresswoman. She was accosted by 8 Muslim men from CAIR Florida who tried to bamboozle her into being their stooge in the Congress. Ahmed Bedier did his homework and noted that she is a Catholic. He thought that he had her in his grip because of the scandal involving a few priests. He did not perceive that the Congresswoman is a strong Catholic who sees beyond the actions of a few weak men, and that she was not about to buckle to that form of bullying.

From what I have been reading here, you seem to be saying that Conyers and Pelosi have in fact rolled over and are serving the interests of CAIR. If that is true, then that means that CAIR came to them, in the same way that they came to Ginny, and that CAIR has some kind of hold.

Why not do your homework on Nancy Pelosi. Find out about her connection to CAIR. Find out why she is so interested in not wanting the profiling of Muslims, because of the possibility that they might be involved in terror plotting. Find out why she is interested in stopping the phone-tapping of men and women who are suspected as members of a terror cell.

Do your homework on Conyers. Why is he pandering to CAIR? Why is he doing their dirty work? What do they have over him? What is it that he does not want to be revealed to the general public?

CAIR is an organization that is not serving the interests of a mainstream Muslim population. They serve the interests of the few, and they are involved in supporting terrorism throughout the world. Without CAIR in the USA most Muslims would not have reason to demonstrate or get angry with their fellow citizens. CAIR is fuelling the hatred between Muslims and non-Muslims.

Here in Australia we have seen the harm that can be done by people who support terrorism, and extremism. We have seen how the moderate Muslims have been working hard to build the bridge of friendship, and that yes they do respond when the extremists get out of line. There is a certain level of cooperation between the moderates and the Australian authorities who are attempting to root out terrorism. However, we have our political jerks, just like Pelosi and Conyers. The latest of the cringers has been the man in charge of the AFP, Mick Keelty. He has been going out of his way to underplay the significance of meathead's speech. He just does not get it. There are others in the political sphere (mostly ALP) who also do not get it, as far as Islam is concerned.

The politicians are worried about getting votes so that they can enjoy power. They seem to not care about the source of their voting constituency. Here in Australia we have compulsory voting, yet we get the government that we deserve.

What most of you forget, is that the scandals of the past few months were going to have a toll. However, as a result of those scandals there will have to be some real soul searching. If quality people are not willing to go into politics then of course you are going to attract the hacks.

The idea of Hillary Clinton making a run for the White House sends shivers down my spine. You all need to do your homework so that the skeletons that have thus far remained in the closet will fall out, thus she will not dare to run for President. The death of her former lover, the one who died in mysterious circumstances was never fully investigated. Was it Bill or Hillary who ordered his death?

I live in Pelosi's backyard and I am definitely concerned. As far as I'm concerned I have NO representation in Congress (my rep is Barbara Lee), so I have no idea what living in a representative democracy is like. Oh, I guess I'm living in the same reality as the Iraqis... and most Muslims. Does this qualify me a a VICTIM expert? Will the news media now interview me to find out what it feels like to marginalzied member of a minority group? I'm not holding my breath.

I appreciate your contributions; they do contain logic and reasoning because:

• Muslims are certainly refined and mature people and should be exemplary while addressing fellow human being.
• They certainly don’t use slanderous language.
• They are care full in the choice of their vocabulary.
• They use universal greetings rather than Islamic one; lest it becomes a hate word.

What an interesting comment regarding the crab. I had heard another story regarding a frog and a scorpion.

The scorpion wished to cross a river. The frog, in its great kindness, tolerance and generosity, wanted to help the scorpion, but it had heard that most scorpions were intolerant, violent and supremacist. Most, it had heard, hated frogs. It asked the scorpion if it was one of those scorpions and the scorpion said "No, I am a moderate scorpion." Now, the frog had never seen a really moderate scorpion, but it agreed to transport the scorpion across the river anyway.

Halfway across, the frog felt a sharp sting, and it turned to the scorpion and said "Did you just sting me?" The scorpion chuckled and said "Well, yes I did." The frog was amazed as it began to sink, and asked the scorpion "Why, why did you sting me, since it would mean we would both surely die?" And the scorpion replied "Well, because I'm a scorpion. There are no truly moderate scorpions."

So the frog, instead of dying, kicked out from under the scorpion. "I can see you did not really understand," it said to the sinking, struggling scorpion. "Frogs, you see, are of a different world altogether than scorpions. They do not succumb to such primitive venom. I only agreed to carry you because I thought, living in your desert, you might appreciate some help. But I can see now that I was wrong to do so; that you do not really think or behave like me. I do not ask that you should, but that you should try to treat me as I treat you: with kindness." The frog shook his head sadly as the scorpion slipped under the water and swam away.

When the frog reached the far bank, the other frogs asked it: "What has happened to you?" The frog replied "I tried to help a fool, and for it I was stung, and the fool was lost." The other frogs replied: "More fool you, then, for fools are lost already."

Then again, returning to your analogy, I should also note that there are only 1 billion muslims in the world, and 2.6 billion Christians.

If the ants are armed with guided munitions, does that make them even more a match for the large, slow, dim-witted, tasty crab? Especially with the crab out of its water, which reduces the weight of gravity on it and gives it an artificial buoyancy that it does not really possess?

Psst, just to let you know, muslims are not special priviledged characters here in the usa, regardless of what your imams and mullahs might want you to believe. Everyone is subject to the same bill of rights under the us constitution. There is no sharia law here and as long as I live there will never be.

For one thing, only the most desperate of democrats will ever vote for her, and secondly, the majority of voters in this country are republicans. It is interesting that you are in Germany...I imagine you married a German...they are nice peoples from my limited experience.

As a youngester in the UK I visited Stutgratt and Frankfurt. They tell me that when making the castle in Stuttgart they added wine to the cement to toast the prosperity of the nation...a wonderful gesture.

Germans have been known to be excellent hosts and learned peoples. A lot of them have learned about Islam too...I like peoples who take the time to learn about my superior religion.

I'm on the west coast. I wrote you just after 11:00 pm last night, so you are about 12 hours ahead of us. My 20 year-old son's girlfirend is from Germany, and she's here in America temporarily as a nanny.
