Thanks, Robert. Your powerful words give me hope. It gets difficult to sit day after day watching the constant willful denial, masochism, and blind stupidity of the left wing media. It is probably only because of this site and others like it that the truth about the hellish reality of Islam is finally getting out, if only very slowly. The facts are beginning to make CAIR style denials of reality look absurd. Truth is not relative. 1 + 1 = 2. The non-relativity of truth-fact is also making the Western Multicultural supremacists look absurd. Their struggle against judgements of what is good and bad (based on reason)is losing for the same reason. 1 + 1 = 2. The mind must know the truth and what is good, reject what is bad, or what is the mind and education about?

Indoctrination is not education. The mind is made to think and make judgements about good and bad based on reason. It was made for reality. I believe (not a fact, my opinion) that the mind-soul is made in the image and likeness of God and was made to discover all truth, Supreme Being. As Einstein said, "God is subtle, but He's not malicious". The mind is made for the discovery of truth and goodness by the use of the gift of reason.

Soon I will be going to church to begin this day of thanksgiving in earnest. Something I have started to do each day is pray for the millions of muslims trapped in the tyranny of the cult they call a religion. I pray they will be set free. As for me, I can no longer call it a religion. If this Alah before which they pray each day is truly real and not some fictional concoction of the "perfect" man they call Muhammed, I am quite convinced then that this Alah is in reality Lucifer himself. How else can one explain the diabolical fruits of this cult called Islam.

I am just an old hippie - turned conservative, but I am trying to spread the word to the people I come in contact with. What amazes me is how willing people are to talk. The kind of people who would never in the past discuss politics or their faith.

In the old days (Mayberry, days) it was more difficult to fool the people because they talked to and about each other. Now the internet has allowed information to be shared across the world and this we have to be Thankful for this Thanksgiving.

CAIR-canada has NO interest in tolerance or pluralism in canada, they were pro-Shariah law
and have defended several Muslims that were shown to admit or be provem by eveidence to Terrorism links at which point CAIR used their fallback position of either silence or that the Jihadist isn't a True Muslim.

The video of that weasel from CAIR is very telling of the myth they try to spread about Muslims being a Race , but this does confirm the Quranic tales of Muhammad denouncing Slavery if the owners a White, and Muhammad did force Arabs to infer that Islam was the African faith since Jews and Christians were part of the White faiths.
I haven't yet heard a Jewish friend or Christian use the term "Racism" for a blanket statement that implies their religion to be linked to only one group of people based on colour or body make up.

3. That this topic draws the interest of the level of people that it does. The discussions here make me think that Islam is on the radar screens of some pretty sharp minds.
4. The men and women who volunteer for and fight in the military.
5. The small arsenal in my basement.
6. The Founding Fathers, the provisions for Free Speech, and the Amendment process of the United States Constitution.

The Star paper has been friends with Sheema Khan and CAIR for a while now and loves to give Dr.Elmasry space to spew his tripe about oppression of Muslims in the West , so I tend to read these alleged claims as lies until i read more evidence to back them.

I ask any anti-American Canadian liberal the same question : "Which country would you rather have as our closest neighbour, if you could choose any country in the world?" It stops them dead in their tracks every time.

I am thankful for many things, not the least of which is that I, as an American woman, can have my own business and nobody thinks twice about it. Nobody tells me what to do, who to pray to, what I must believe. That freedom is a gift from God, and I cherish my portion of it and all of yours as well. As a Catholic, God tells me to love my neighbor. Is it not a loving act to defend our neighbor's freedom as well as our own? I am compelled to fight this fight, I have no choice. But I want you all to know that even though we get into it here sometimes, I'm glad to be in this fight with all of you and I will always have your back to the best of my ability.

We do sometimes fall into melancholy over this distasteful subject of having to fight to protect our freedom. I'd much rather go to the beach, have Ramone bring me a drink with a little umbrella in it and read a good book. But we have to remember that humans do that sometimes. We doubt and we even occasionally despair a little bit, because our human nature is weak. We don't have to buy into the taqqiya that Islam taking over our world is a foregone conclusion. Yeah, okay, they lie to advance their agenda. They kill and apply terror to get their way. But truth sets you free, and there are many people out there, and especially here, that understand the value of freedom and we are willing to sacrifice everything else to maintain it. Truth is like ping pong balls under water. You can push them down all you want but they always, ALWAYS rise to the surface for everyone to see. What an inordinate amount of time and energy these people must exert to keep these lies going.

All we really have to do is continue to tell the truth, show the pictures of the beheaded school girls, show the satanic anger on the faces of screaming jihadis, discuss the behavior of the imams and discuss the crying of wolf and the whining about victimhood, (that one really ticks off most people I know.) Ask people what they think the purpose of a Muslim woman is in wearing the full face covering to a department store in L.A., St. Louis or Cleveland. I once saw two women wearing only the face covering while they had regular clothing on, shopping for skimpy panties in a lingerie department. That was about five or six years ago and I remember the feeling that welled up in me was of sheer anger at the audacity of it. They weren't trying to cover up and blend in or be modest. They were trying to make a statement, and they did. But I digress.

Remember the times throughout history when the underdog came from behind. Remember battles like Lepanto and Agincourt. Anything is possible and we are up to the task. So today when we are with our families let's remember to give thanks in front of them for the freedoms we enjoy, and plant the seeds of patriotism so that we can plan for a rich harvest over the next few years and counteract the effects of CAIR's lies on our nations infrastructure. If each time we meet every attack with a counterattack (like contacting Us Airways via letter as so many here did) they won't make headway and it will give us time to strengthen and build our forces and this time, defeat jihadism once and for all and consign it to the waste bin of history.

Surveys showing that 85% of Pakistani wives are beaten by their husbands. And so on.

Will our aspirations to multiculturalism - which is precisely about respecting difference - become collateral damage? Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Here is what I'm thankful for:

1. I'm thankful for all the opportunities and achievements that came my way - both in the US, and previously in India. I'm thankful for the Internet, and the ability it gives us - most of whom are unlikely to ever meet face to face - to share our concerns and info about this totalitarian ideology masquerading as a religion that threatens us.
   
2. I'm thankful to everyone in history - from Charles Martel to Shivaji - who recognized these threats when they did, and acted upon it. While I sympathize with those who didn't prevail - Persian Zoroastrians, Egyptian Copts, Lebanese Maronites, Assyrians, Indonesian and Malay Hindus, Kurds, et al, I believe few can ever repay the gratitude to all those particularly in India, who over 8 centuries confronted the Jihadi conquerers at various points in time, and over time (despite individual defeats and losses) prevailed. Thanks to them, Islam didn't spill into China and Indo-China (excepting Malaya), and in Europe, thanks to Ferdinand/Isabella, Jan Sobieski, Don Juan of Austria and several others, Jihadi imperialism was restricted to the Balkans.
   
3. Like Michele Malkin pointed out, the fact that I live here in the US, and not in an Islamic cesspool like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon or Iran. The fact that on the rare occasions I do practice my faith, there aren't stormtroopers from some ministry for the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice to stop me and bully me into compliance. The fact that I'm allowed to exist as an individual, and not as a foot soldier of a collective totalitarian ideology that exists solely for the purpose of self-aggrandizement (Q8:39)
   
4. While I mourn 9/11, 3/11, 7/11, 7/7, Bali, Israeli homicide bombings, et al, I am glad that more and more people - who do not in normal life qualify as fanatics - see Islam for what it is. While there are still too many PC characters who would pounce on one for being 'Islamophobic', fact remains that it's no longer unacceptable to look hard at what Islam really is, and compare it, not with Christianity or Judaism, but rather, with Nazism and Communism.
   
5. Last but not least, I'm thankful to every JihadWatch poster who reminds each one of us that we are not alone, and that we are not bigots. It was depressing going through that as a kid - it's nice when one has company.

Thank you Robert. Maybe its the occasion, but I feel a little more hopeful today than yesterday.

Because Jihadwatch is peopled mostly by the like-minded, I've of late carried my fight to a Left-wing, European site, where the myopia, the apologia, and the hatred of America and Israel is absolutely pervasive.

For example, a majority there think Israel is responsible for the murder of Lebanese politician Pierre Gemeyal...just as they believe the Jewish state murdered Hariri.

When one points out the absurdity of the premise, that Israel is one-by-one depleting Lebanon of its anti-Syrian voices (5 anti-Syrian political figures have been murdered in the last two years), one is met with derision and cries of 'Zionist.'

It's painfully obvious that any and every atrocity perpetrated against the West will from now on immediately be blamed on the West (or Israel) by the Islamo-Left. It's part and parcel of the fog Robert referred to in his opening paragraph.

But just as Robert suggests, there are reasons to remain hopeful. Happy Turkey day folks. I'm going to gorge on food and drink today...and work-out like a man possessed tomorrow.

As far as I know, neither Allah nor Mohammad left any instructions on what muslims should eat on Thanksgiving Day. I dont think they gave it much thought. Mohammad is excused because he had bigger fish to fry...raid villages, capture slave girls ect, but Allah should have known...he predestined everything did he not. He knew that US muslims would be dietariily helpless on Thanksgiving and Christmas also, especially Christmas, and he did nothing. No commandments, no advice, nothing. This is why the Pilgims and Puritans, did not thank Allah, he did nothing. The 'real' GOD provided turkeys and corn. Allah fell down on the job. He is still falling down...whats a poor US muslim supposed to eat today? If Allah really knows best, he will find something for his hungery submitters to eat...but I bet he wont...

In a message posted to a password-protected forum today, Tuesday, November 21, 2006, the Mujahideen in Lebanon responded to the assassination of Minister Pierre Amin Gemayel in Beirut, an event which occurred only hours earlier. The group claims that Hezbollah, in coordination with Syrian intelligence, is directly responsible for the assassination, and further, that an effort is under way to frame the incident as an al-Qaeda operation.

The statement reads: “The assassination was directly executed by five individuals from Hezbollah. They were divided into two cars and a yellow motorcycle.” The group alleges a false statement was printed prior to the assassination, in the refugee camp Nahr al-Bared, in which al-Qaeda is implicated in the attack. The Mujahideen in Lebanon view the assassination of Minister Gemayel as part of a continued effort on the part of Hezbollah and its Syrian backers to coerce Shia ministers into withdrawal, ultimately facilitating an overthrow of the Lebanese government.

The statement closes, “We are monitoring them,” referring to Syrian-supported Shi’ites in Lebanon.

Why Speak?
Speak is an introduction to act. Actions have to be justified by clear reasons.

Since the Saracen conquests of Syria, Phoenicia, Palestine, Egypt, Mesopotamia, Armenia, Assyria, Chaldea and Anatolia a pattern can be observed in these lands: the native population (Christians, Jews, Samaritans, Zoroastrians and Mandeans) was and is still on the verge of extinction.

Surely this happens in all conquests. People are massacred and sometimes totally annihilated. But not all times. Many times conquered peoples are assimilated with the conquerors or the other way. What is happening on the lands conquered by Muslims is similar to what has happened before and after, but there is something different in it.

Unlike other conquerors Muslims have defined plans and reasons for their conquests. Their relation with the conquered peoples is determined by laws already practiced by their prophet Muhammad. They know what they are doing and they are doing it for a specific purpose.

In these lands, a diversity of peoples, Christians in their majority, has to deal with conquerors holding the same mentality. Whether Arabs, Berbers, Persians, Turks, Kurds, Albanians or Bosnians, all follow the same or similar principles governing their relation with the conquered peoples, the infidels.

What has befell on the conquered natives?
1. Many were killed. This happened in AD 634 and after. This happened also in many of the conflicts between Muslims where the natives fell pray to the warring sides. It happened during the Crusades. It happened in 1860 in Mt Lebanon and Damascus. It happened in 1915 in Anatolia. It happened in 1920 in Anatolia. It happened in Assyria in 1933. It happened several times in Lebanon between 1975 and 1990. It is happening now in Iraq and Egypt. It is happening also in Lebanon where the leaders of the Christians are all under the threat of death and some were murdered in 2005 and 2006, last of whom two days ago was Pierre Gemayel.
2. Many converted to Islam although Islam has always been the monopoly of Arabs, Turks, Berbers, Kurds and Persians.
3. Many since AD 634 have been fleeing the lands of their ancestors. Others were deported. This is the pattern in Lebanon now.

This is a brief review of events about which it will take pages to write about. What has been characterizing these events is that two defined parties are identifiable: Muslims (servants and followers of Allah) and Infidels (Christians, Jews etc.).

Another important pattern should be noticed: some of these infidels decided to resist Jihad. Their resistance now is the cause of many of the conflicts which we have been witnessing and are still witnessing in these lands.

The Christians of Mt Lebanon were among the first to resist the yoke of Islam. Later, they united with the Druzes successfully forming the state of Lebanon.

Others were less successful. The Armenians and Assyrians were massacred for trying to resist. The Greeks were deported to prevent them from reclaiming the lands of their ancestors.

Others were less fortunate. The Copts are stuck in Egypt as anybody stuck in a pit with no air.

God bless you on this thanksgiving because I've been searching my mind for the basis of Multicultural-Supremacism. You nailed it. It is "indifference" to belief. They want to reduce beliefs to a blur of visual and other superficial diversity. They do not take seriously the Supremacist beliefs of Islam or any other culture belief system.

Yet, to understand another culture, and our own, we must understand what it is that they believe makes them superior and why they believe they are superior and subject the beliefs (including our own beliefs re superiority) to critical analysis and not be afraid to make judgements (based on reason) that this aspect of Muslim culture (or any other culture)is good and that is bad, or this aspect of Western culture is good and this is bad, or this aspect re Hindu beliefs is good and that is bad, etc. Instead we are told by them to be indifferent to good and bad, to make no judgements, that good and bad are relative, and that to make such judgements is bigotry. We must accept the Multicultural supremacist belief-system. It is a stealth supremacism that sneers at the power of beliefs, the power of reason to discover truth, the power of the mind to know what is good and what is destructive-evil in a culture-belief-system. It is an Imperial Indifference to real diversity, to any knowledge of what is good and what is destructive-evil.

The truth is that guys like Robert and Hugh are more respectful of Muslim culture than Multiculturalists because they take the Jihadist beliefs seriously and don't patronize Muslims. Every culture believes it is superior and that is where we find out what is good or bad about the culture. Although the turkey is a beloved victual at Thanksgiving, I am reminded at this time of Thanksgiving that some Islamic turkeys in pious fleece would like to deprive us of our freedoms in the name of their religion.
