Preachers: Ramadan prayers caused US deaths in Iraq

Just in case the correlation between Ramadan and jihad wasn't already clear. By Aaron Klein, for World Net Daily:

With October becoming the most deadly month for US troops in Iraq in nearly two years, Palestinian preachers in several major mosques in the West Bank and Gaza Strip are celebrating the anti-American violence as a gift from Allah bestowed upon Muslims through prayer during the holy month of Ramadan, according to congregants.
[...]
Abu Ayman, a leader of the Islamic Jihad terror group in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, told WND, "We saw in Iraq this month how Allah helped the mujahedeen fighters to mark a great victory, a victory that brought the Americans to speak for the first time seriously and sincerely that Iraq is becoming a new Vietnam and that they should fix a schedule for their withdrawal from Iraq."
Continued the terror leader: "During Ramadan (which ended last week), it is known that the motivation of the Muslims and of the mujahedeen in particular is higher than in any other period of the year. The good acts of the Muslims and the mujahedeen are better paid in this month in which the gates of paradise are open and those of hell are closed."
One preacher in the West Bank city of Hebron told WND the death of American troops is "promised by Allah in the holy Quran."
"It is the realization of the verse of El Phil (the elephant) where Allah hit the Prophet's enemies with special and very warm Sejeel stones. The rockets and mortars of the Mujahedeen in Iraq are the Sejeel stones of our days."
The preacher was referring to the Quranic story of "unbelievers" advancing on an elephant to kill Muhammad. According to the Quran, birds from heaven lobbed "Sejeel stones" at the elephant, scaring the animal away and thwarting the attack.
Also in Hebron this past weekend, Hizb A-Tahrir, a popular Palestinian Islamist political party, distributed a pamphlet stating the holiness of Ramadan, which ended last week, was responsible for the large number of American casualties in Iraq.
The pamphlet went on to claim the popular Muslim phrase "Allah Hu Akbar" (Allah is the greatest) has "huge significance in the world."
"The Arab traitor leaders think that America is the Akbar, is the greatest, but the deaths in Iraq this month proves what we knew all along that Allah is the greatest and no power is stronger than Allah. May Allah keep cooling our hearts and souls with more and more American soldiers killed," stated the pamphlet.

Only the most demented of mental cases would pray for such insanity during a "holy" month. Any arguments that this "peaceful religion" is NOT a death worshipping cult have been demolished by this story.

"the death of American troops is "promised by Allah in the holy Quran."

LOL, this site is better then comdey central. I would like to know what is not in the Quran? O wait I remember now peace, love, happiness, love for your fellow man....

If muslims could learn to read and write maybe they can read the Quran themselves see how much they have been lied to by these "preachers". I'm not saying the Quran is a good book, but its better then what the "preachers" are making it out to be.

The imams, mullahs, ayatollahs and preachers need to be dethroned in the eyes of the people. They are the primary vector for the plague.

The average age of those listening to this Koranic rant was four-and-a-half.

Intellectually speaking.

The Arab traitor leaders think that America is the Akbar, is the greatest, but the deaths in Iraq this month proves what we knew all along that Allah is the greatest and no power is stronger than Allah.

And yet, all it took was a little woman to poison muhamMad.

"The Arab traitor leaders think that America is the Akbar, is the greatest, but the deaths in Iraq this month proves what we knew all along that Allah is the greatest and no power is stronger than Allah"

Really? I always thought Ajax was indeed stronger than dirt.

C'mon folks-they are all 'moderates','victimised
Muslim Clerics 'whose words have been 'taken out of context'...Sarcasm off.Yet Dhimmi Western Media will already be grovelling apologies & explaining the ROP.

"The Arab traitor leaders think that America is the Akbar"

Haha, awesome. I totally want to make some "America Hu Akbar!" T-shirts right now. What do you think, should they be in English or Arabic?

Wow... this is a religeon they keep force feeding us to be a RoP. HorseSh...

Does any Christian after a Sunday's prayers ever go crazy? Do the Muslims after Friday's prayers ever NOT go crazy?

LoL - Islam a RoP.

May Allah keep cooling our hearts and souls with more and more American soldiers killed (*

What kind of God is Alla if not Devil? They are a bunch of losers and psychopaths.

I think give'em half the chance they all want to come to the US in a heart-beat. Virtually whole of Pakiland will land on our shores tomorrow if ever permitted, and GOD forbid.

"I totally want to make some "America Hu Akbar!" T-shirts right now. What do you think, should they be in English or Arabic?"

Both for those that don't have an Imam handy to translate.

I would suggest that during the upcoming Christmas/Hannukah season we all pray for the death's of Muslims everywhere. One holy month against another. Whaddya think? Oh wait, our God and Savior are indeed peacful and merciful. I guess that wouldn't be very Christan of us now would it?

Maybe I'll try it any way.

Is this the peaceful religion that President Bush talks about?????If it was'nt so deadly,it would be funny.

So just how do these same preachers explain 1500 Iraqi Muslim deaths in that same period? And the fact that only 4 days into Ramadan last year, a devoutly-Islamic NW Pakistan experienced a devastating earthquake that killed 80,000 Muslims and left millions more homeless? What "good acts" did Pakistani Muslims do to deserve what they got from Allah then?

yadayada,

Ah yes, young grasshopper... The Muslim sees the glass half full, while the Liberal sees only the emptiness...

There is statistical support for Ramdam being more violent and bloody, as per: http://www.icasualties.org/oif/

See how the numbers bump up every year around October-November in Iraq for coalition casualties. One does wonder what is being said at the mosque during that time of personal 'purification' and fasting? Or are they but a bunch of hungry murderous zealots willing to kill for their evil moon god "Alllaaah!"? God, it even sounds ugly!

'Religion of peace' my smooth-stoned-wiped buttocks.

The pamphlet went on to claim the popular Muslim phrase "Allah Hu Akbar" (Allah is the greatest) has "huge significance in the world."

Is this Muzzie afraid to call it by it's name?
It's called "the prayer of fear", it's what Mohammad used to say just before they attacked a village of unsuspecting civilians, still sleeping in their beds.

I hold no candle for the PLO, but there are probably imams in parts of Iraq--especially Kurdistan--who are telling their people that x-number of terrorists were captured or killed thanks to Ramadan prayers, too.

My father's cousin went into battle in 1914 with "Gott mit uns" on his belt buckle. He was a Jew in the army of the Protestant Christian German Kaiser. All wars in most countries produce a lot of similar rhetoric.

However, it is wisest to remember the case of one war in which we KNOW God directed one side. When Joshua, during the invasion of Canaan, met an angel, he asked if the angel was on Israel's side, or that of its enemies. The angel replied only that he had come as a captain of the heavenly host. (Joshua 5:13-15). We are now in a terrible time when nations are sifted; and God could well have purposes that are quite alien to our own. Even if we are in the right, God's puposes are higher and better than ours. We must not presume to enlist God in our cause, but to seek to be enrolled in His.

B'M'shiach,

Kepha
