Paul Sperry, author of the disturbing and essential Infiltration, recaps the Islamization of American public schools. From Investor's Business Daily via FrontPage, with thanks to Mackie:
In our brave new schools, Johnny can't say the pledge, but he can recite the Quran. Yup, the same court that found the phrase "under God" unconstitutional now endorses Islamic catechism in public school. In a recent federal decision that got surprisingly little press, even from conservative talk radio, California's 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled it's OK to put public-school kids through Muslim role-playing exercises, including:
Reciting aloud Muslim prayers that begin with "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful . . . ."
Memorizing the Muslim profession of faith: "Allah is the only true God and Muhammad is his messenger."
Chanting "Praise be to Allah" in response to teacher prompts.
Professing as "true" the Muslim belief that "The Holy Quran is God's word."
Giving up candy and TV to demonstrate Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting.
Designing prayer rugs, taking an Arabic name and essentially "becoming a Muslim" for two full weeks.
Parents of seventh-graders, who after 9-11 were taught the pro-Islamic lessons as part of California's world history curriculum, sued under the First Amendment ban on religious establishment. They argued, reasonably, that the government was promoting Islam.
But a federal judge appointed by President Clinton told them in so many words to get over it, that the state was merely teaching kids about another "culture."
So the parents appealed. Unfortunately, the most left-wing court in the land got their case. The 9th Circuit, which previously ruled in favor of an atheist who filed suit against the words "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance, upheld the lower court ruling.
The decision is a major victory for the multiculturalists and Islamic apologists in California and across the country who've never met a culture or religion they didn't like - with the exception of Western civilization and Christianity. They are legally in the clear to indoctrinate kids into the "peaceful" and "tolerant" religion of Islam, while continuing to denigrate Judeo-Christian values.
Read it all.
Impeach the whole damn court. And get rid of those school officials who allowed this outrage to take place. The US really must be going to hell in a handbasket to allow such insanity during a struggle with the most insidious enemy we have ever had. No wonder Islamania is laughing at us. Give us time, Osama. We will commit national suicide for you so you won't have to waste time waging jihad against us.
Absolutely disgusting!
Children might be at risk from extremists? If the children go back to their own faith or non-faith, and profess that faith or non-faith, they might be at risk?
Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Pakistan could put the child to death for apostasy? This is denial of life and liberty to the child without due process of law. This is a new ground of appeal.
The fact that some foreign governments execute apostates from Islam is a valid basis of saying the child is harmed by this. Their ability to travel to those countries after reverting to their own faith or non-faith is at risk.
Moreover, they might feel fear to revert to their own faith or non-faith. That interferes with their first amendment rights.
Based on this, extremists, the norm according to Saudi and Pakistani courts, could attack their normal house of worship for making them revert.
That interferes with the first amendment rights of that house of worship, and they can bring suit on their own basis for being harmed.
Because these children are reverting, America could be made a target of terrorism or war. That is again grounds for any American to bring an injunction. Since the attack can come in their place of work or abode, any court is a court of competent jurisdiction to seek an injunction on this practice.
Any person who has been threatened has standing to sue in any court where the threat might be carried out for an injunction to this or related government acts. The government can't deny those people due process of law to deny them protection or liberty.
In addition, every parent and child and every house of worship they revert to should receive written notice of these risks. In particular, there should be written notice to the child and parent from the government that if the child travels to Saudi Arabia, Pakistan or Afghanistan after reverting to their normal faith or non-faith they are at risk of execution by the courts of those countries.
There should be written notification to them that this is what the courts of those countries consider normal or standard Islam. A complete list of such countries should be furnished.
A complete list of countries that might adopt that law should also be given. A list of all countries targeted to adopt such law should be given. This should include the US.
The notice should also state that the courts of those countries would decide if the child was subject to the death penalty, not the courts in the US. Those courts would apply their procedural and substantive law, including law of evidence to decide that.
Yes, and when we have shadid week we can dress the children in suicide bomb vests. After all, this is just a study of culture.
So when will the kids get to participate in a beheading? What poor animal will be sacrificed to show how this "culture" operates?
P.S. I presume they wouldn't use an actual person to demonstrate on but then again who knows with this bunch?
All Johnny need know about Islam is this verse taken straight from the kuran (Islam's source): "And when the forbidden months have ended, slaughter the unbelievers everywhere they are found on earth; capture them, torture them, beisege them, prepare every stratagem of warfare against them; levy the tax upon them after their conversion."
Yes, Islam is murder, Johnny. And they are after YOU.
Next lesson!
Will the male students be taught how to bitch-slap their wives or the girlfriends "their right hand possesses?"
Maybe the students should undergo circumcision or clitorectomy.
How about pairing them off with their first cousins for dates?
Better yet, let there be 2 proms: one for the boys and one for the girls. (The male prom could have dunderhead dhimmi blond-haired girls waiting outside for temporary marriages).
I could just imagine the outcry if a teacher were to have students make the sign of the cross before class or insist on boys wearing yarmulkes.
This country (USA) better wake up. This is not "multiculturalism" education; this is truly an outrageous violation of the 1st amendment.
By the way, has the ACLU rushed in to defend the victims of these exercises?
It should be brought before the Supreme Court...
The USSC declined to review the decision. It could come up later in another case or context, but for now Islamic da'wa will be part of the Ninth Circuit's caliphate.
Beagle: Thanks for answering my question before I even asked it.
I would send a note to the school requesting (demanding actually) that my child be excused from such brainwashing.
(To the tune of Dwight Yoakam's - Pocket of a Clown)
Inside the schoolboard of my town
They thought up history upside down
But I feel a shake-up's coming 'round
Inside the schoolboard of my town
Inside the classroom of my school
They tried teach-ing that Islam's cool
I guess they thought I was some fool
Inside the classroom of my school
Hollow lies

The Sup-reme-court should cut them down to size
They started white-wash-ing the past
Teach-in' us things that cannot last
But I hope the bullshit ends real fast
And they stop white-wash-ing the past
Hollow lies

The Sup-reme-court will cut them down to size
Education about Islam should not be limited to Islamic and pro-Islamic sources. If one wanted to teach one's child about Nazism one wouldn't send them to a Gestapo officer for tuition.
We need to reexamine our multicultural approach to the issue of Islam and reevaluate the thinking that gave the "free world" (remember that phrase?) the resolve to resist Communism long enough to win the Cold War.
For the kids who don't remember it . . .
During the Cold War we didn't regard residents of the Soviet Union as less than human but we did know that they had, since birth, been in the thrall of a totalitarian ideology which is at odds with what we hold to be our basic human freedoms.
There was no multicultural "understanding" or excuse-making for what we saw, quite rightly, as a dangerous totalitarian ideology. Just as it was with Nazism, we despised the ideology but looked forward to the day that the Germans would be free of it, our friends again.
We didn't choose to oppose Nazism or Communism, they just don't have room in their respective dogmas for skeptical minds, people of faith or free-thinking individuals. We don't choose to stand against Islam but it must become clear at some point that their ideology has no room in it for us and ours.
What's wrong with providing information to our young people about other cultures? As long as it's factual, the students are well served. Following the study of Islam, here are some additional lessons to help our next generation understand the complexities of today's multi-cultural world:
Creative Cannibalism
Debugging the Negative Nazi Stereotype
The Wonderful World of Wicca
Communism for Modern Times
Heaven's Gate Cult: "Behind the Comet"
I'm in two minds about this. Learning about ALL major cultures and religions is important, and should include christianity. But the negative aspects of these should not be hidden from children/teens old enough to handle the truth. The younger ones are probably best left to practice their own religion away from school and at school stick to basic eduction.
Certainly, presenting a rose-tinted view of any culture or religion is simply wrong.
The Wonderful World of Wicca:
‘Contrary to what those who choose to persecute or lie about us wish to believe, Wicca is a very peaceful, harmonious and balanced way of thinking and life which promotes oneness with the divine and all which exists.’
Don’t think they really count high on the world domination scale. Too many trees need loving.
sigh the land of fruits and nuts has done it again and by getting the kids to memorize the Memorizing the Muslim profession of faith: "Allah is the only true God and Muhammad is his messenger."and probibly to say it has put the kids at risk from any jihadist that could consider them converts who have comited the crime of apposty and kill them
The truth is that religion and government should never mix. And seeing as education is government controlled, religion should be kept out of schools.
People should be allowed to choose their own faith when they are old enough to decide.
Personally I believe that government should be detached from education in every sense. It is all too tempting to modify the teaching process to mould children to your view and that is what is happening in the sciences at schools in Britain today.
Mert, so you're all for madrasses, where kids rote learn the koran (in arabic, even if they don't understand it), and very little else?
Sorry Lili but i'm struggling to find any mention of Madrassas or any other faith school in my post.
All religion should be excluded from schools as should left wing doom mongering about climate change.
School should be about learning the three R's and i believe all interference by religion and government should be avoided.
Nothing is surer in life than the fact that religions want you to believe and governments would love to train little voters up.
I know an otherwise sane teenager who is sure that America is the devil, because his lecturer told him so and pointed him to a site that backed his view.
This book is HIGHLY recommended, and I agree it should be on everyone's reading list. And you will be totally disgusted with the current government bureaucracies and administration and how they have been infiltrated and bend over backwards to enable and kow tow to those with questionable backgrounds and agendas. The level of insanity in the FBI is truly disturbing.
Federal law permits student led religious organizations on public school grounds provided that they operate like other organizations already existing during non-instructional time.
That said, it is one thing to learn facts about another perspective on the world, but it is quite another to be required to recite sentences that one does not believe or engage in practices that one does not advocate. Even Jehovah's Witnesses are excused from reciting the Pledge of Allegiance for example. Do these kids, in learning about Byzantium, have to recite the Nicene Creed too? Are Muslim students required to eat an Easter Ham in "learning about another culture?"
Someone should alert the religious right in the US to this nonsense so that they can use their political muscle at the local level to kill this stuff. I know that the Muslims are well organized across the US and have considerable influence over textbook formation concerning Islam. People had better start objecting to what is in their kids textbooks or start sending them to private schools.
Razorskarr-
Don't remember seeing your moniker on here but a wonderful point. I had truly forgotten the clear differentiation between man and ideology when I was growing up in the fifties. We certainly knew more about communism than modern kids will ever be told about Islamic Imperialism.
Sorry, Mert, I misunderstood your post. I back your ideas now that I see what you mean. I'd remove my previous post if we had an edit button, :(
poetcomic1,
Cheers, mate, I used to post a bit more often but although I've been sitting back a bit more of late I've certainly been enjoying your contributions.

How Clinton sold our children to Islam: http://www.blessedcause.org/proof/Clinton%20Embracing%20Islam%20selling%20out%20children.htm
All I am able to ask is:
WHAT'S **WRONG** WITH THEM??!!
Depressing!
Do we have to allow these #@&^ to commit suicide and take us with them?
Come on, non-Muslims. These judges need to be taught a lesson~!
A great reason to homeschool.
Carolyn2
Good question. We've seen what gets taught in PA schools: at some point in the future, do our kids start learning how to don suicide belts and blow up Infidels?
Freedomseeker33
How does anybody teach those judges a lesson, other than taking them out? They can't be impeached - too many PC pols on both sides.
This goes along with the campaign to destroy nationalism starting at a young age in many public schools.
As a proud American patriot, I recognized this danger as soon as my kids went to PS.You don't need to be a right-winger to do something about it.
Just a concerned parent countering the BS. I've been doing it for 15 years with my kids.
Most of us can't afford private schools so we fight.
Infidel Pride
Looking at the current situation, I wonder why non-Muslims even bother so much with legal procedures or impeachments in dealing with jihadists (and their sympathizers - liberal judges, etc) while the islamists dont even respect the non-Islamic laws. (UK: Islamic immigration lawyer refuses to remove veil before a judge).
This raises some interesting possibliities. The federal courts have ruled that Islam is a matter of culture, not of religion. Therefore it is not protected by the First Amendment, and is liable to regulation, restriction, or prohibition by government, at the federal, state, or local level. Perhaps some town or county in the 9th Circuit's area could start the ball rolling by prohibiting the practice of Islam within town (or county) limits.
This is constitutional abuse, plain and simple and simple. I really hope the parents who send thier kids to school for most of the day are able to connect these boodstained dots before they are assimilated.
define: establishment clause
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Establishment_Clause
The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution plainly prohibits the establishment of a national religion by Congress or the preference of one religion over another. Prior to the enactment of the Fourteenth Amendment, the Supreme Court generally took the position that the substantive protections of the Bill of Rights did not apply to actions by state governments. ...

Islam is riding on the coat-tails of the athiest debates a few months ago. These are foreigners attempting to assert control of our government using our own internal disputes against us. The enablers on the 9th circuit need to be voted a NO when it comes up to the question of whether or not to keep them.
Someone else posted this a few months ago. I believe it is relevant. Another Clintonian betrayal of the American people.

I learned of a school district in the California Gold Country that is determined to remove the pro-Islam textbook propaganda trying to pass for history that the superintendent and school board purchased this year against parents’ wishes.
In fact some parents mobilized this November to block a local bond measure that would have funded the schools, noting that a NO vote for the bond would have meant a vote of NO CONFIDENCE for the school bureaucrats promoting Islam. They lost. But they did manage to impact the election by shifting the ratio of opposition from 1:5 to 2:5. And they’re still at it…
Thanks Alert,
I refer people to that article whenever the question of collusion between the democratic party and the nazis w/ turbans comes up.
