Hamas: we will never recognise Israel

But that will not stop Bush and Baker and Rice from forcing Israel to make more concessions in the hopes of winning that chimerical recognition. From The Guardian Unlimited, with thanks to Kasper:

The Palestinian prime minister, Ismail Haniyeh, today said his Hamas-led government will never recognise Israel and will continue to fight for the liberation of Jerusalem.

"We will never recognise the usurper Zionist government and will continue our jihad-like movement until the liberation of Jerusalem," Mr Haniyeh told thousands of Friday prayer worshippers at Tehran University in Iran.

The comments underline the difficulty of the task confronting Tony Blair, who confirmed yesterday at a joint press conference in Washington with George Bush that he is to visit Israel and the Palestinian territories in a last push for peace before he leaves office next year. Mr Haniyeh, who is on his first foreign visit since his Hamas-led government took office in March after a surprise election victory, called Iran, a long-time ally of Hamas, the Palestinians' "strategic depth".

Difficulty? How about impossibility?

Israel and the rest of the world have been through this process a couple of times and now want to repeat the same "goodwill turn into mistakes" again?

Our politicians are a waste of taxpayers money.

Quite a good read for fast food consumers.
Nevertheless its all true.

No more concessions by Israel. The palestinians make it crystal clear on a daily basis with deeds and words that they don't want peace. Bush and company should be ashamed of themselves-the new Chamberlains and Daladiers ready to carve up their ally to feed to the enemy of all humanity. At least those two appeasers didn't have a precedent to learn from. What's the excuse here?
I hope Israel is mentally preparing itself to go it alone because if the Light Democrats (i.e. Republicans) are this determined to sell out Israel one can just imagine what the Anarchists (i.e. Democrats) have in mind. Europe is anti-Israel and the US is rapidly becoming so-I'm glad Israel has nukes because it's looking increasingly likely that one day those nukes will be needed.

Tony BLiar can't leave office FAST ENOUGH! Don't let the door hit you on the way out, you little lapdog of islam.

I have more to say on the topic. The only reason we are still in Iraq is at the pleasrue of Bush/BLiar's SOWdi masters.

NOONE in their right mond can STILL believe that islam and democracy can exist in any meaningful relationship. I was never under the illusion. Due to my gift of logic :-) Read the KKKOran and therein you will find all the information you need. Is anyone left who STILL thinks we can bring democracy to iraq or to any of the islamic countries?! Do you call what they do in Indonesia and in Malaysia DEMOCRACY??!!! Or in Lebanon??!! Now THAT is about as democratic as it's going to get. It is NOT worth our lives and our treasure!!!

We should have never gottewn into Iraq. saddam Hussein ruled these bastards with an iron fist and he was about as secular as things can get over there.

When we leave Iran benefits. or SOWdi friends have threatened to move in to safeguard Sunni interests. LET THEM PLEASE!!

The oil fields are where? Kurdistan?? GREAT, I SAY!!

The solution is SIMPLE! Let;s secure and proclaim an independent Kurdistan! In exchange we get the oil of course. And the Kurds get their beloved Turdistan [sorry couldn't resist].

Which is a good way of saying SCREW you to turkey at the same time :-) If Iran dares attack our troops directlky then there's our excuse to go in and when we do we should ask Israel for help.

Now is it REALLY so hard to figure out strategy, kids?

We get everything we want with this:

1. oil
2. Rid of turkey
3. Tie up Iran and Saudi with one another. :-)
4. Weaken Iran
5. Weaken islam
6. Our troops safer than now.
7. A base - WHERE ALL THE ***OIL*** IS, GEORGE!!!!!

Go GET 'em George!

NEVER NEVER NEVER!!!

You cannot tell from appearances how things will go. Sometimes imagination makes things out far worse than they are; yet without imagination not much can be done. Those people who are imaginative see many more dangers than perhaps exist; certainly many more than will happen; but then they must also pray to be given that extra courage to carry this far-reaching imagination. But for everyone, surely, what we have gone through in this period - I am addressing myself to the School - surely from this period of ten months this is the lesson: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never-in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy. We stood all alone a year ago, and to many countries it seemed that our account was closed, we were finished. All this tradition of ours, our songs, our School history, this part of the history of this country, were gone and finished and liquidated Winston Churchill 1941

Every confrontation that this country has been in that a complete victory was not won ,can be directly attributed to low caliber politians trying to make a name for themselves. Unfortunately its the common family that has to pay the price!!!

Aint it the truth. One could look at almost any period in American history and find at least one politician that was somewhat impressive. Since the 1990's we have gotten the most useless, spineless and self serving politcians the nation has ever suffered from and this cuts across party lines. Not a statesman in the bunch and none that will be remembered by history except for corruption, mistakes, appeasement and/or incompetence.

It really bothers me that the UN is asking for $500 million for the Palestinian territories. Why should our hard-earned tax dollars go to support terrorists?

I heard on CBC Radio last night that their health care system is about to collapse. Yeah, well, so is Canada's.

Maybe if the "Palestinians" had spent less money on their, "We Are All Hezbollah Now" signs, and no money on weapons, and didn't pay such big sums to the families of suicide murderers, maybe they'd have more money for health care. Oh, and I thought Hezbollah took care of all the people's needs, via generous funding from Syria and Iran.

Is there anything the ordinary taxpayer can do to protest this jizya to the Pals?? We are Trillions IN DEBT. This is INSANE!!!

What an absolute disgrace! If the Urine Nations wants to waste money on the worst dregs of humanity let them get it from cesspoolia-they have plenty of money. Anytime the UN gives out money that means we idiots in the West have to foot the bill. The UN was originally created to fight the Axis. Last time I checked WW2 ended 61 years ago. Why didn't the UN do likewise?

Regarding the Palistinians:

See what happens to people when they let the Government take care of them.

You get a bunch of mindless fools subject to the whims of the government in charge.

And when that government is charged with centuries of built up hate and jealousy---Welll.

I agree it is past time to sever all financial aid to Muslim countries. I would also sever all technical aid, educational aid, medical aid, food subsidies, travel visas, student visas, and any other gifts we give these people.

Let their puppet masters take care of them. They love each other so much.

It really bothers me that the UN is asking for $500 million for the Palestinian territories. Why should our hard-earned tax dollars go to support terrorists?

I have npr on. They are featuring a lot of Pals who are leaving for Canada. WHAT IS THIS??!! They can just up and leave for Canada? Just like THAT??!!

So can anyone just up and go to Canada?! Especially from a terrorist country? Maybe the US needs to put the Fence on the northern border instead of the southern. We do NOT need Hamas and Hezbollah across Lake Erie and Lake Superior.

To top it off one of the interviewees said that she really doesn't want to leave because without people like her the people can't run the place.

Now THAT's a joke! How have they been running the place so far??!!

germaninamerica l think you put too much faith with the kurds, afterall they are still muslims. one point that keeps coming up, yeah they are not arabs, but then so are most muslims.

as for hammas not recognizing Israel, does that surprise anyone? their actions speak as well as their words, both match. now destroy them. abbas is no better just more patient and sneaky.

germaninamerica dont worry so much about muslim terrorists in Canada. they are plenty in the US, in fact the ones who did 9-11 entered the US legally or not stopped without coming from Canada. we do need to all stop these monsters from coming in all our countries, that is all of non--muslim countries. first we need to throw out the elites, ie politicians who promote this practice.

No one should be surprised by the statement from Hamas or any other Islamic leader regarding Israel. If the palestinians wanted a two-state solution they could have had one. They don't, so there we are.

In the West, our leaders are afraid of identifying the enemy, that is Islam. We go through ridiculous contortions trying to appease an enemy that won't be appeased. We have unhelpful reports like the ISG that seems to assume we can talk with Islamic leaders as if they are reasonable and want to be helpful. What a canard.

Where is the modern-day Winston Churchill who called Hitler for what he was years before WWII started. Bush and Blair and the rest don't have the guts to stand up and say that the enemy is Islam, nothing more, nothing less. But they know that to be true.

Its time we went down to the basement and dragged the truth upstairs and into the light. Only then can we prepare for what's ahead.

GermaninAmerica:

I am a Canadian and I live just outside Toronto. I am also a welfare worker so i know firsthand the type of third world tripe we are importing here for the sake of multiculturalism. It disgusts me to no end which is why i am quitting.

Unfortunately, immmigration is a political hot potato that our politicians refuse to touch.

Our PM Stephen Harper is barely holding a minority government and any effort to reform immigration will bring him down. He is the first conservative PM in 13 years. He came to power about a year ago and I for one, do not want to see him go. If Harper tries to reform immigration, it will likely trigger a no confidence motion and dissolve parliament and we're back to the polls again!

We need a majority Conservative government so Harper can have a free hand to reform immigration. This will enrage Liberal politicians whose voter base is from Pakistan immigrants. They do not want any change to immigration policy since it is one of the reasons they stayed in power so long. It is scary to know there are over 100,000 Pakistani immigrants, like Naseem, infiltrating into Canada and recolonizing us.

Believe me though, Harper is unhappy with immigration and he is an Albertan (which is the Texas of the North).

Harper is pretty shrewd. He has cut off the jizya to Hamas just as the Americans have. He is also an ardent supporter of Israel so all is not yet lost.

QUOTE FROM GORDO:
Where is the modern-day Winston Churchill who called Hitler for what he was years before WWII started. Bush and Blair and the rest don't have the guts to stand up and say that the enemy is Islam, nothing more, nothing less. But they know that to be true.

Problem is these days is that Muslims live everywhere now and you have to tiptoe your way round. The politicians are scared to be accused of relgious hatred and they know riots would break out in London for example if Tony Blair decided to speak up and say Islam is the problem.

If Islam was compatible we would be selling Bibles and Buddist books to them. But because of intollerance I doubt they would open their arms to it and say yes its free for our Arabic nations to read such things without being arrested or made a target. Bush and Blair no matter how powerful they are would still cover their wives up if they visited any Abrab countries.

Truth is people are scared of Islam and fall prey to that ideology or to challenge it. They lack balls in other words.

It is scary to know there are over 100,000 Pakistani immigrants, like Naseem, infiltrating into Canada and recolonizing us.

Don't you know? All these fine folk move from the ummah to enjoy the wonderful winter climate. They're merely tired of the hot sun. Why else would they move to the middle of North America?

P.S. I am imprisoned in the nearby Caliphate of Minnesota so I know what you're going through. One day your caliphate and mine shall link up and form the Northern Caliphate of Cesspoolia. Unless we get a remarkable turnaround in the quality of politicians and demolish PC we will need to study our Korans like good little dhimmis.

What post office "gift" or "gratuity", all perfectly presentable and "irreproachable", all because it will be post office holding, is Tony looking for from the oil princes ?

How else otherwise is he going to keep Cherie farting through silk ?

"post" - meaning, after office, e.g. - after he leaves office "gift".

ISLAMSFORLOSERS:

Yea, i can't quite imagine why they would go from year round sunshine to a bitter cold winter. It is 10 below today and the wind is howling.

Wait, i know why they come. The jizya/welfare program is top notch. We offer free education, health care, heat, liberty, tolerance and security.

The moment they get off the plane from CrapPakistan, their lives are immeasurably improved. Living on welfare in Canada is a far better live than working in Pakistan.

A father with a wife and at least 5 kids says,"you're going to give me $2500.00/month to do nothing...sign me up!"

What a world the Liberals have given them. I think they go to bed at night feeling morally and intellectually superior that they were able to rescue some stray dog from CraPakistan and give him a better home. Fools.

hamas will never recognize and bury Israel if Israel does not commit and complete war against hamas................

it is either victory of death for Israel.......

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, who achieved a historic breakthrough in 1979 that brought peace between Egypt and Israel, has emerged over the years as one of Israel’s harshest critics. In his new book, Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid, President Carter abandons all objectivity and unabashedly acts as a virtual spokesman for the Palestinian cause.

• Israel’s “occupation and colonialization” of the West Bank and Gaza is the reason there is no peace.

FACT: President Carter deliberately overlooks that in 2000, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak went to Camp David and offered Yasser Arafat 95% of the West Bank, 100% of Gaza and part of the Old City of Jerusalem for a Palestinian State, along with $30 billion in compensation for Palestinian refugees. Arafat’s response: launching the bloody Intifada which targeted innocent civilians in restaurants, malls, schools, and religious services with suicide terror attacks. Had Arafat accepted Israel’s offer at Camp David there would have long been a Palestinian State alongside Israel.

• Israel’s ‘Wall’ has virtually choked-off the Palestinian economy and in many ways is worse than South Africa’s former Apartheid system.

FACT: Israel’s temporary security fence has been an effective deterrent in thwarting unending Palestinian suicide terror attacks which have dropped over 90% since its construction. Israel has said that the fence will come down when the Palestinian terror stops. Israel is entitled to protect her citizens from outside threats in the same way as with any sovereign country. It is interesting to note that during his presidency President Carter correctly chose to continue the U.S. embargo of its Soviet-allied neighbor, Cuba because he perceived it as a continuing potential national security threat.

• The actions of Israeli governments do not reflect the will of the people who, in polls consistently show that Israelis overwhelming support a two-state solution.

FACT: Israelis’ support for a two-state solution is predicated on having a peaceful partner that does not seek the destruction of the Jewish State and has a government that renounces terrorism.

• President Carter blames “powerful political, economic and religious forces” in the U.S. for America’s "submissive" pro-Israel policies.

FACT: America’s continuing bipartisan support of Israel is not a result of pressure from “powerful political, economic and religious forces” but based on U.S. interests and the fact that Israel is a democracy whose citizens share common values with the American people.

Hamas won't recognise democracy that is the problem it will not become democratic even if they changed the flag. Istead Israel will become a place to ban Jew and Christians to prey in and any historical facts supporting Christianity will be thrown down the loo. Once you give up liberty to anything Islamic you will forever be imprisoned in that system like their own people.

Keep Israel free other wise it will be like Mecca where infidles are not allowed to visit.

Wait, i know why they come. The jizya/welfare program is top notch. We offer free education, health care, heat, liberty, tolerance and security.

Yeah, same here. They've cut down on the mooching a little bit here but it's not nearly enough. Still the cesspoolians come. And the deadbeats from other states as well. That's why this state is also called "Moneysota". And I thought New York was bad!

Anyone figure out how to force this information down the throats of the dumbazzes that keep insisting on forcing Israel to give up land to these animals?

Iraq Study Group? 80 some-odd 'suggestions'that may or may not work?

I have 4 that WOULD work.

1. Nuke Tehran
2. Nuke Damascus
3. Let Israel do what the hell it needs to do and stay the hell out of Israel's business.
4. Move our troops to the borders and then tell Iraq they have 30 days to get sorted or they're next.

"Unfortunately, immmigration is a political hot potato that our politicians refuse to touch." By Sir Oinks A Lot

Notice that the same thing is happening in Europe and the United States?

It is for the exact same reasons. Our politicians are controlled by the media (which is owned and controlled by corporate America).

Yours and our politicians are GLOBALISTS. They are NOT patriotic.

Corporate WORLD is interested in only one thing. WEALTH.

THEY are selling our countries and cultures out from under us - to line their pockets.

Where will they go when they have worn out the intelligent workforce? When our babyboomer workers are too sick and stressed to work and the illegals are too uneducated to take their place? Who will pay for the disabled workers? Who will pay for the illegal welfare recipients? Well, it won't matter because they will have the money and the means to cut and run.

Bush should tremble, he is bringing more judgment upon the US:
The Nations Judged
1 "In those days and at that time,
when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,

2 I will gather all (this includes the US) nations
and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.
There I will enter into judgment against them
concerning my inheritance, my people Israel,
for they scattered my people among the nations
and divided up my land.

Also a good read by Hal Lindsey:

How The Mighty Have Fallen

Though there is nothing specifically predicted about the United States in the “Last Days”, there are certainly examples of how God dealt with great powers in the past – and why.

The Bible predicted the destinies of Four Great world Empires. Daniel particularly focused on them. He predicted the fall of mighty Babylon and witnessed it take place.

The city of Babylon was considered one of the great wonders of the ancient world. The Babylonians considered it impregnable – and with good reason.

The Greek historian, Herodotus, wrote that its outer walls were 300 feet high. It had many towers for archers that were even taller. It was wide enough at the top for four-horse chariots to ride around it. It was approximately 54 miles in total length. It had an inner wall that was almost equally strong with a mote between the walls.

The Euphrates River ran through the center of the city. Great bronze gates were suspended into the River to prevent an army from going underneath to enter the city. With such an endless water supply and the food that could be produced within the city, it was considered impregnable to any siege.

Yet, with all of its mighty defenses, Babylon fell in one night. It happened at the height of a great feast at which the King Belshazzar, son of Nebuchadnezzar, was celebrating Babylon’s invincibility over the Medes and the Persians, who had surrounded the city. He made the big mistake of committing the final insult to Israel’s God. He used the golden goblets taken from Jerusalem’s Temple to toast the gods of Babylon.

Unknown to the King, the Medes and Persians had been working for weeks to divert the flow of the Euphrates River using a series of dams. That very day the amazing engineering feat was completed.

The overconfident Babylonians did not notice after nightfall that the river’s waters were receding. It was at that time that God caused a hand to appear and write on the wall of the great banquet hall these words: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.

Terrified, the King sent for the court astrologers to decipher the words. None could do it.

Then the Queen mother was summoned. She told the King about Nebuchadnezzar’s faith in a Jewish prophet and His God. She assured him that Daniel, whom his father made a member the court astrologers, could decipher the message.

Daniel rejected the Kings offer of ruling over a third of the Empire if he could decipher the message, and why it was sent.
Daniel began by rebuking the King for not following the example of his father, who believed in the God of Israel.

He rehearsed how God blessed him and his kingdom because of his faith. He said, “You have not humbled yourself as your father did before the LORD of heaven.” “You have used the sacred implements of His Temple to drink wine and honor your false gods.”

“So here is the message the hand sent from GOD has written.”

“MENE” – “GOD HAS NUMBERED YOUR KINGDOM AND PUT AN END TO IT”

“TEKEL” – “YOU HAVE BEEN MEASURED ON GOD’S SCALES & FOUND WANTING.”

“PERES” (past tense of verb upharsin) – “Divided” “Your Kingdom has been divided and given to the Medes and the Persians.”

“That same night Belshazzar the Chaldean king was slain.” (Daniel 5:30 NAS)

You see, the very moments that Daniel was finishing giving God’s indictment to the king, the Median & Persian armies were storming under the bronze bars into the city via the dried up river.

America, you were founded by your fathers – most of whom believed in Jesus as LORD.

You have been blessed and protected as few countries in history because of this.

Now you have turned against the God who has blessed you.

You have barred God’s Word from all public places of learning.

You have driven any mention of the Son of God from the public square. Even symbols of Him are no longer tolerated.

You have murdered millions of your unborn children on the alter of lust.

You have made what God calls an abomination socially acceptable – homosexuality.

Therefore your enemies are plotting your destruction on every side – and most of your people are not even aware of the danger they are in.

God says, “MENE” The Days of your nation have been numbered

“TEKEL” You have been weighed on God’s scales and found wanting.

“PERES” Your nation is about to be destroyed.

I only have one word of HOPE. Even evil Nineveh was spared when the people repented. May America repent before it is too late.

Great Babylon was once greater than we are – but go look at what is left now. It is a heap of rubble, hardly known by the world today. God raises nations and destroys them as He wills.

I wish the West would quit recognizing the palestinians. If they are not recognized, they should get nothing.

One thing I can not do when discussing Israel-Arabs conflict is to blame the Palestinian arabs. They sure that the land belongs to them and to argue otherwise is a waist of time at best.
US can be blamed for shortsightedness and more then once: 1948, 1955, 1967, 1974, 1984, 1982 and 2006.
Yet, the biggest blame should go to Israel and her people. They are the ones who could not recognize the danger of Islam and have been treating the conflict as a simple territorial dispute. After 1967 war Moshe Dayan on behalf of The Israeli government asked arabs to stay in Israel and not to live for other arab countries.
It was Israel who provided the arabs with welfare subsidies, schools and universities and seats in parliament.
It was Israel, who accused Meir Cahane, the only politition who clearly understood the problem, in racism and expelled him from the parliament (I read 2 of his books and did not find any trace of racism in both of them. Even more there is a respect for the arab national identity, religion and culture. All those things just not compatible with the future of Israel).
None of the Israeli PMs did understand the concept of juhad and none of them faced reality though it was far closer to them then to any other leader of the world.
After a million emigrants from the arab countries came to Israel, they brought wast knowledge of arab world and everyone of them pointed to impossibility of peace between Israel and the arabs. History proved them being correct. And against all facts and logic, there are still many people in Israel including many politicians, who still strive for negotiations and believe in good intentions from the arabs.
Winning a war means getting something out of peace negotiations which follows the war. From this prospective the only war Israel wan was the war for independence in 1948. The only one out of seven.

THEM THERE'S FIGHTING WORDS (JEW & ZIONIST)

Now that the Jewish/Zionist canard has been invoked by Nazi Nasrallah, any doubt regarding the Hezbully's future course of action in the current standoff in Lebanon can now be laid to rest.

Civil War Coming:

In a rousing speech, Nasrallah accused Saniora of conniving with Israel during its monthlong war with Hezbollah last summer. He claimed Saniora ordered the Lebanese army to confiscate Hezbollah's supplies of weapons — his sharpest attack on the prime minister since the August cease-fire that ended the fighting.

He said government officials had asked American envoys to persuade Israel to destroy Hezbollah: "Those are the ones responsible for the war, not the resistance."
=====
You heard it here first: Civil War, coming soon to Lebanon. But did we watchers expect anything different from a newly ascendant Moslem majority sect?

So let me get this straight:

Hamas wants to continue to "drive Israel into the sea" and "kill the jews where they find them." and then they scream bloody murder and "genocide" when the Israelis shoot back.

My recommended solution:

take off the ridiculous burden of White Man's Guilt that the left has thrust upon the shoulders of Israel and send them more and better weapons.

To Hamas I can only say: you do the fighting, you do the dying. Don't come crying to me when you find a bullet has penetrated your thick, ignorant skull.

@CaptainGrevious

you write, wisely:

You have murdered millions of your unborn children on the alter of lust.

You have made what God calls an abomination socially acceptable – homosexuality.

==============
I'm not anti-gay, but I am anti-abortion. ("As you do unto the least in the Kingdom, so you do unto me," said Jesus. If an unborn child isn't "the least in the Kingdom" I don't know what is.)

Your charge could apply to modern Israel, which in its insanity to be all things American, practices abortion on a wide scale. The Arab population of Israel is roughly 20% and expected to double within 25 years to 40%. Meanwhile the Israelis keep aborting and aborting their own.

HORROR! HORROR OF HORRORS!

And of course, American-wannabe Israelis (Jews only) want a "Gay Rights Parade" where the Via Dolorosa is.

Even I have a problem with that, and like I said, I am not anti-gay, believing as I do, that people have no control over their sexual orientation.

I agree with what Sir Oinks Alot posted above.

We need a world-wide slum clearing project to get underway in earnest.

The i-slum clearing project, centered around the Middle East, but in the interest of diversity we should also include places like North Korea.

Start the bulldozers in Erez, Israel and run them continuously South-Southwest until all the detritus has been pushed into the Sinai desert.

Enough! Calling these people 'president' and 'prime minister' makes me puke! We need to stop listening to these people and need to begin fighting them.

We need a change in government here:
Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and North Korea. Who cares what comes after it? Can it be worse? If it turns out worse then we simply change the regime again. It will take two weeks or less in most cases. The only unknown is North Korea... they may actually be able to mount an organized fight.... save them for last if you wish.

All these two-bit tyrants need to have their asses handed to them like Saddam.

Palestine has lost any legitimate means of redress in my humble opinion. We need to make it 'go away'.

There is no "palestine". There are no palestinians..just Arabs, indistinctable from any other Arab. They are actually supposed to be in Jordan but their tendency to misbehave got their asses kicked out of Jordan too. Instead of palestinians they should be refered to as "wedges", as that is the only purpose they serve. A wedge, used by the rest of the islamic world, to pry Israel away from the support of the west.
