Haniyeh: We're Shahids, not ministers

This is the government with which everyone wants to enter into negotiations.

By Ali Waked in Ynet News, with thanks to Kemaste:

Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said Friday that he and his followers chose to be in the Hamas movement to be shahids (martyrs) and sacrifice their lives for Allah and not to be ministers. Haniyeh made the comments at a ceremony in the Gaza Strip, attended by some 100,000 people, marking 19 years since the founding of Hamas.

The Palestinian leader called for unity among the Palestinian factions, after days of continually escalating violence in the Strip and the West Bank.

“Palestinian blood must be safeguarded; we must unite for the fight to free our lands and holy sites,” he said. With that, Haniyeh said no amount of pressures on his government would lead Hamas to modify its stances.

Ah..more from Condi's poor "humiliated" folk.
Karen Hughes gushed-
"The person I work for, President Bush, is the first president in the history of America to say we believe the Palestinians should have a state, living side by side in peace with Israel," Hughes told al-Jazeera satellite television. She repeated the statement two more times in the five-minute interview.
-***Apparently Karen thinks this is a *good* thing. Has she read the Bible she claims is the Truth ? If she has and believes what God ( who calls Himself the God of Israel) has said regarding His people Israel and the land He has sworn as theirs, she would not be so cavalier in her comments. Since 1948 the *nations* have sought and have accomplished in partitioning and *dividing* the land God has forever sworn to Israel. There is a prophecy in the Book of Joel written thousand of years ago which is a warning and a promise that God will bring about.

"I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and [for] my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. "
God is going to bring all the nations into judgment. For the reasons He states above, they have parted the land. The land of Israel has never been parted/divided before in history. This prophecy is for today, and what has taken place since 1948.
Ms. Hughes and her boss should repent . And if Mr. Bush believed what the Bible teaches he would not play apart in *dividing the land*, and thus have a part in bringing God's judgment upon America. The UN has made some 60,000 votes against Israel, 100's of condemnations, but NOT ONE condemnation against the Arabs for terrorism or starting the wars against Israel."***

the ones who are spilling more Palestinian blood are palestinians. Israel needs to stand back and watch how hammas and abba's boys kill each other. there was a killing of three sons from the gang of Abbas by the hammas gangsters, and l am sure they want to settle the score with hamas. will the US State Department read and hear any of this? l am sure that if we can, they must know of it as well.

So why are they so mad when we grant them their wish for martyrdom?

100,000 terrorists in one location and Israel did nothing? Looks like Israel's days are numbered.

He mentions fighting for "holy sites". I hear this often, and I'm wondering how many "holy sites" and "holy cities" there are in the Middle East. What are the requirements to qualify as an Islamic "holy city"?

The media seem to always go along with the "holy city" designation without question or explanation.

And we continue to be under the illusion that we can somehow broker a peace treaty with these people who like Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh have bound themselves to the 36 articles of the Hamas Charter.

One wonders if government reps. have ever sat down and read it at all or just chose to ignore it in the hopes that it will either go away or people like Haniyeh will change it for the sake of peace even though the Charter is defined as locked in stone now by its Hamas followers.

That's right; they will die as martyrs' or Shahids before they give up their dream of destroying Israel and killing all the Jews.

Well, I don't mean to be cynical, but these Arab-on-Arab killings are a good development for our anti-Jihad cause. The naive were hoping that, after their "democratic" elections last spring, the Palestinians would start making the nation they claim to be viable.
Of course that hasn't happened.
I'm noticing a slight change of opinion on the European blogs I read. Less whining from the pro-Palestianian bleeding hearts, a little less "blame the Jews" rhetoric.
And that's a good thing.

Pet peeve #2
Our media calling their crap "holy"

"Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said Friday that he and his followers chose to be in the Hamas movement to be shahids ... "

But of course HE is too important to put on a Semtex overcoat and lead from the front.

The fact that these self proclaimed "shahids" refuse to lead by example means that everytime the press refers to them as "leaders," the term should be in quotes. This people are not leaders.

`Palestinian blood must be safeguarded; we must unite for the fight to free our lands and holy sites,” he said (*+

He is blowing hot air right through his underpants. Let us totally ignore this pathetic moron. We should make our HomeLand Security air tight. Lets make the Muslims very very uncomfortable in our country till they exit to the scheisskopf Alla's lands (i.e. Islamic countries).

For me the anti-Jihad starts at Home, right here in the USA. Let us never recruit any Muslim to any job. I am not racists, I am anti-Jihadists.

What 'holy sites are those? We all know that Islam has no holy sites because there is 'nothing' holy about Islam. Anyone can claim any place as a holy site. My Holy site is the backseat of an old Volkswagon where Allah awarded me my manhhod. I make holy pilgimages, to my backyard, where the seat is enshrined. I Circumambulate it seven times while chanting the holy name, 'PamAnderson'.
A little known fact...'PamAndersonu Akbar' is synonoymous with Allahu Akbar. Anywhere Pam has been is a 'holy site' to many infidels and muslims alike.
These shrines are called 'Pamosques'...

The point is, that Islams 'holy sites' are no more important than my old volkswagon seat, or PamAndersons sweaty gym socks...Which I have also enshrined...

This just in:

Tupelo, Mississippi and Memphis, Tennessee have just been declared "Holy Cities."

"Palestinian blood must be safeguarded..."

WHAT "must be safeguarded?" "Palestinian blood?" What the hell is THAT?

That's like saying "Magical pixies must be safeguarded." That's like saying "Hobbits must be safeguarded." Or, how about "Rational Jihadists must be safeguarded?"

There is NO SUCH THING AS "PALESTINIAN ANYTHING." Everything "Palestinian" is not simply a myth, it's a fairy tale. It's a "My Little Pony" cartoon, except maniacal "Care Bears" are hunting them down and cutting their heads off.

This "Palestinian" BS is MADDENING!!!

Sheed--I have always thought that hamas was a bunch of sh-yid! So what's new?

The "Palestinian" people is as non-existing as the Iraqi people. There is a country called Iraq, there is not and never was one called "Palestine." The latter was a name given by the Romans to Judea. The inhabitants of Judea were Judeans--Jews--not the ancestors of the Arabs that call themselves "Palestinians."

The Arabs squatting on Judea ("West Bank") came from Arab-speaking Moslem lands. They are not nor were their ancestors the original "natives" of the "West Bank" nor of Israel.

As to the rallying behind Abbas as the hope for a peaceful Arab entity existing alongside of Israel--forget about it. Abbas is in the mold of Arafat and a Jewish Holocaust denier who would play the same old game as did his stinking predecessor. His aim is the same as that of his rival thugs (Hamas): making Israel into an Arab land, free of Jews (as is Gaza and any area that the Moslem Arabs managed to appropriate).

Didn't the great martyr,Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, go into hiding when Israel went into Gaza the last time? What a chicken shit.

Precisely what I have been stating since 9/11.The war is here in the West and not there in Iraq or in the ME.

There is no hope for the West unless we admit, that not all cultures can live in harmony. Islam proves that, and then start repatriation, humanely ofcourse, with financial help if necessary, of Muslims back to Islamic lands.

I caught a glimpse of the riots going on in Gaza...but, the odd thing, all the Dhimmi media turn off the sound...it's like watching one of those silent news reels. CBC, CNN, etc., they all do this. Is this yet another means to censor, to literally tone down what's going on? I don't think making nice-nice when non-Arab ethnic groups go on violent rampages occurs (the sound is on when, for example, there are riots in South Korea) yet when Arabs are rioting -- firing guns into the air, dodging bullets, etc -- the sound is off.

I find it funny these people proclaim themselves 'martyrs' when they haven't died yet, but then again "planning-to-be-martyrs" doesn't sound as heroic and there's less chance the Israelis fufill your deep seated lust for death via GPS guided missle.

if it were only iraq we would call it a fluke!
iraq and afghanistan we could call it an accident!
but to see what happens to iraq and afghanistan and palestine when democracy comes knockin we should call it a national holiday!
you see how ass backwards the muslims are, they take a wonderful institution like democracy and turn it into something satanic!

Well, as I've just said on another of today's threads, I'm sure this all just a bit of a cultural misunderstanding.

If they really want to become martyrs for Allah, why not help them along? One nuclear bomb could make their whole day. They could die, as they want to, which would cause them to leave us alone, as we want them to. It's a total win-win for everyone involved.

Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said Friday that he and his followers chose to be in the Hamas movement to be shahids (martyrs) and sacrifice their lives for Allah and not to be ministers.
....................

So much for the idea that the Palestinian people elected Hamas because they were tired of Fatah's corruption and wanted a good, practicle government that would "fill potholes" in a timely manner.

Uh, I meant "practical". It's late here.

"Haniyeh: We're Shahids, not ministers"

And your making a pigs ear of being both!
