GAZA, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- A military wing of the Islamic Jihad (Holy War) movement launched two homemade rockets into southern Israel on Sunday morning despite a mutual cease-fire.Saraya al-Quds Brigades claimed responsibility for firing two rockets into southern Israel's town of Sderot in a statement sent to reporters.
The rockets, fired from the northern Gaza Strip, came in response to "the Israeli violations and crimes committed everyday against the Palestinian people," said the statement.
Israel and the Palestinians agreed to a limited cease-fire in the Gaza Strip in late November following large-scale Israeli offensive.
However, Israel said the Palestinians have fired 51 rockets since the fragile truce took effect.

I agree with you. The Palestinians have been doing everything they can (rockets, tunnels, propaganda) to get Israel to retaliate so they can claim they are being “victimized” once again that is typical of the Muslims. They have been doing that for years and the drive by news idiots don’t report that. Only when Israel tries to defend itself they scream that Israel reacted for no reason. The Palestinians should have had an attitude adjustment years ago. Merry Christmas to everyone else.

This seems to be the old Palestinian good cop/bad cop routine, where some Palestinians stop firing rockets,stabbing,shooting, suicide bombing ect while others continue with business as usual.The bottom line is Palestinians never honor any agreement and the attacks on Isreal continue, whether or not there is a "cease-fire". When is Isreal going to get tired of the good cop/bad cop routine?
Every time Israel gets attacked by PIJ, why not take retaliatory action against Syria? That way, one can expect the Baath regime to either rein in the PIJ, or close down their Syrian operations completely.
The other thing Israel could do is send Syria the same message that the US should - clean up your act, or else, there will be propaganda highlighting the heretical nature of the Baath regime and the Alawites, and no obstruction should Ikhwan take over. And once Ikhwan takes over, it'll be open war on Syria, and Damascus will be annexed to the Golan Heights.

I'm beginning to wonder if it is 'Israel's patience' or Israel's ignorance that keep them seeking peace with these freaking dogs. Israel just announced they are sending Palestine 200 million dollars that they suspended sending them when Hamas came into power, AND Isrsael announced Palestinians could now sue Israel for damages inflicted when Israel launches defensive actions against terrorists. They were imune to wartime compensations, but someone in Israel decided that defending Israel was a no no because it might cause casualties amoung the civilians hiding the terrorists in their homes. It's like Israel is trying to cut their own throats- But alas, I guess the good Palestinians will not sue because after all, the casualties and property damage came as a result of Israel defending herself as compared to the Kassam rockets fired intentionally into civilian populations!!! http://sacredscoop.com
